Inside DJ Fat Tony's star-studded wedding to Stavros Agapiou complete with flamboyant Greek dancing, gospel music, A-list guests and romantic touches

Daily Mail09-06-2025
When DJ Fat Tony wed Stavros Agapiou at their star-studded nuptials last month the extravagance and attention to detail was clear for all to see.
Tony, 58, and Stavros, 32, who have been engaged since October 2023, made it official at the Welsh Chapel in Charing Cross (formerly the Limelight nightclub), before heading to the swanky Londoner Hotel for the glitzy reception.
And no expense was spared for their special day as they treated their guests to flamboyant Greek dancing, drag acts and even gospel music.
The wedding attracted some big names too including the likes of Gemma Collins, Davina McCall, Coronation Street 's Claire Sweeney and Kelly Osbourne.
Tony had carefully picked the 19th-century church where he began his career when he was just 18.

The Soho venue was a favourite spot for Duran Duran, Spandau Ballet, George Michael and Bob Geldof.
For the blessing Tony and Stavros Dior Homme suits while The King's Voices choir gave gospel renditions of I'll Be Loving You Always, Higher and Higher and You Got the Love.
Even the couple's dogs were in attendance as ring bearers as they wore special wedding outfits themselves.
Tony was also surprised with an unlikely wedding cake as he danced the night away with his new husband.
In snaps shared by Tony's pals on social media, it was revealed that the wedding cake was far from an understated affair, with each layer boasting letters which spelt out the word 'c**t.'
Another snap showed the pair flaunting their best dance moves at the reception after exchanging their vows.
Following the ceremony, Tony also took to the stage alongside his new husband to thank the guests in attendance, with the stunning venue decorated with white roses for the occasion.
Claire and Boy George were ready to party the night away
For his special day, Tony was among the first to arrive at the chapel and was joined by singer Boy George as he prepared to exchange vows with his partner Stavros.
The renowned music star, real name Tony Marnach, cut a very dapper figure in an all-black suit featuring a silver brooch.
Stavros arrived not long after Tony, and opted for an all-white look, which was made up of a blazer, waistcoat and quirky shorts.
Davina McCall turned heads in a bright orange mini dress as she arrived to the chapel holding hands with her partner Michael Douglas.
Kelly Osbourne opted for a black sleeveless dress while her locks were styled into a sleek bun for the day.
Others in attendance included EastEnders stars Patsy Palmer and Jessie Wallace and fellow actress Jaime Winstone.
Earlier in the day, Boy George got ready in the hotel with Claire and her son Jaxon, who she shares with her ex Daniel Reilly.
Claire, 54, who is believed to be serving as a bridesmaid, took to Instagram to share some very glamorous photographs from her hotel room.
With Tony being hugely popular on the celebrity circuit, it's little surprise that the nuptials hosted an eclectic star-studded guest list and an A-list performance from none other than Kylie Minogue for the evening celebrations.
A source told The Sun ahead of the wedding: 'Tony is one of the most popular people on the London celebrity circuit and his wedding is going to be packed full of stars.
'No one had Kate, Gemma and Claire in a bridal party on their bingo cards this year, though. It's going to be incredible to see them lining up together.'
They added: 'Tony and Stavros have put a lot of thought into their big day and it's going to be one to remember. As for having Kylie singing at their evening do, it's iconic.'
In 2023, Tony opened up about the poignant choice of church for their wedding, noting that he planned to wed in a church in Earls Court which honoured those who died of HIV and AIDS in the eighties and nineties.
As was Kelly Osbourne
Comedian Grace Campbell also shared a snap of a keepsake from the wedding, with the stern warning: 'Do not drink'
He said at the time: 'This church was the only place that had love and compassion for our community. I want to get married there because, for me, it's full circle. It's for everybody that didn't make it to that point.'
Earlier this month, much of the reported guest list stepped out to party with DJ Fat Tony at his star-studded stag do.
The pair have been engaged since October 2023 after Tony popped the question during a romantic trip to New York.

Guy Pearce set to play Rupert Murdoch in Danny Boyle-directed drama

Danny Boyle is set to direct an adaptation of award-winning play Ink, based on the rise of the Rupert Murdoch empire. According to Deadline, Guy Pearce is in talks to take on the lead role with Jack O'Connell also in negotiations to star as Larry Lamb, who Murdoch hired to run the Sun in the late 1960s. The film will be written by original playwright James Graham, whose other screen credits include recent TV drama Brian and Maggie. Ink was a critical hit after it premiered on stage in 2017 going on to win an Olivier award and two Tonys. The Guardian's Michael Billington called it a 'gripping piece of theatre'. Murdoch previously referred to Boyle as 'a creative genius' on social media after the London Olympics opening ceremony. He also claimed it was 'a little too politically correct'. Boyle recently returned to the zombie franchise he helped to create with 28 Years Later, a box office success earlier this summer making $150m worldwide. The film featured O'Connell in the final scenes and he will be a more prominent feature in the sequel out next year. Boyle is attached to make the as-yet-confirmed third film dependent on the success of the second which will also see the return of Cillian Murphy. O'Connell also recently starred in Ryan Coogler's smash hit horror Sinners and will also soon be seen in Godzilla x Kong: Supernova. Pearce received his first Oscar nomination this year for Brady Corbet's The Brutalist and will soon be seen alongside Keira Knightley in mystery thriller The Woman in Cabin 10 and Ridley Scott's The Dog Stars.

I'm as likely renew my vows as to try the new hot husbanding trend

I have been giving some thought to renewing my wedding vows. Yes, do congratulate me. And maybe think about a gift? John Lewis vouchers are always nice. It'll be a small affair — about 200 guests, a photogenic lake, lots of flattering speeches about me, me, me. Naturally I'll release a few doves for the optimal Instagram aesthetic. Sorry did I say some thought? I meant no thought. None whatsoever. I would be as likely to renew my vows as I would to practise 'hot husbanding'. No clue? This is another tiresome trend apparently growing in popularity (sceptical face). It is when a wife finds their husband so 'hot' that it arouses her to watch him having no-strings sex with a woman of her choosing but at no point getting involved. Well. If I had to sit on a hardback chair watching my husband's buttocks bobbing away atop a stranger it'd put me off coitus for life. It's why I've never gone for a mirrored ceiling.

Harry Potter TV show shares first look at all the Weasley siblings

The highly anticipated Harry Potter TV show has shared a first look at all the Weasley siblings. In May this year, the three lead child stars were finally announced after months of speculation - with Dominic playing protagonist Harry, Arabella Stanton as Hermoine Granger and Alastair Stout as Ron Weasley. The young trio were selected from more than 30,000 actors who auditioned in a casting call last year. And now, the casting for Ron's siblings: Fred, George, Percy and Ginny has been revealed. Tristan Harland will star as Fred, Gabriel Harland as George, Ruari Spooner as Percy, and Gracie Cochrane as Ginny. On Tuesday, HBO released a photo of all the Weasley kids smiling for a fun selfie. In the Harry Potter films, the original Weasley siblings were played by several actors. James and Oliver Phelps played Fred and George Weasley, respectively. Rupert Grint portrayed Ron Weasley, and Bonnie Wright played Ginny Weasley. Additionally, Chris Rankin played Percy Weasley. Filming for the HBO program, which was first announced back in April 2023, is well and truly underway. On Monday, Harry Potter's Hagrid actor Nick Frost towered over lead star Dominic McLaughlin as filming for the TV series took over London and brought traffic to a standstill. Nick and Dominic were pictured walking down Borough High Street near London Bridge. Their costumes both match their characters' descriptions in the movies and books. Taking on Daniel Radcliffe's role of Harry, Scottish actor Dominic, 11, looked serious as he looked into the distance while rocking a blue, green and yellow rain jacket. He completed the look with some wide-leg jeans, a rucksack and Harry's iconic glasses. Meanwhile, Hot Fuzz and Shaun of the Dead legend Nick, 53, donned long curly hair and a matching beard. The actor looked warm in a khaki jacket, black trousers and brown boots. In one snap of the pair together, some may notice that Nick - who is 5ft 7 inches, towers over Dominic - and if you look closely, he has a mask on his face which has two black dots above his mouth. While it's initially unclear in the photos as to where Harry and Hagrid are going, given the location, it looks like the duo are likely on their way to Diagon Alley. After the photos emerged, fans have taken to Reddit to share their thoughts. They said: 'The OUTFIT is just so spot on, the too big jeans, baggy shirt, the dirty coat that I swear half the boys at my school had and probably came from C&A. The attention to detail is just so good', 'IKR. they also roughed-up Hagrid. unlike the first official photo where his beard looks like a perfectly conditioned and curled hair'. 'I love that they're showing Harry in baggy clothes. It really fits with how it was always described in the books'. 'He's drowning in the clothes, it's perfect', 'One of the things I really like here as a book comparison is Nick Frosts face being naturally sterner while resting. We know he can do the big happy smiles but Hagrid is meant to look a bit scary at first. Although I loved Coltrane - he always looked warm whatever expression he had', 'I'll forever love Robbie Coltrane's Hagrid but I'm also really excited to see Nick Frost's Hagrid on screen', 'Dominic gets more and more Harry with every leak/picture', 'Perfect Harry. perfect Hagrid. how his tiny steps struggling to keep up with Hagrid's big strides. TT.' It comes after original Harry Potter director Chris Columbus revealed a character he wants to appear in the HBO series after they were cut from the made it obvious which character he hoped the show would tackle, and that character is Peeves. Speaking about the films at a red carpet event for his new mystery film Thursday Night Murder Club, he told Screen Rant: 'I think the thing I think about mostly is Peeves. 'The character of Peeves, we shot sequences, we did not have time to render Peeves in a CGI way. So I'm anxious to see what they do with Peeves.' Peeves had a minor presence in the first books with pranks and insults, but took a more notable role when he and the other Hogwarts ghosts resisted the reign of Dolores Umbridge and later in the grand Battle of Hogwarts. However, the character played by comedian Rik Mayall was cut from the films as Warner Bros felt the movie was too long. As filming for the reboot is underway, one of the major questions is how it can top the hit movies.
