
Yamaha announces 10-year total warranty for its two-wheelers
India Yamaha Motor has announced that they are rolling out a 10-year total warranty program for its two-wheelers. The 10-Year Total Warranty includes a 2-Year Standard Warranty and an additional 8-Year Extended Warranty, covering engine and electrical components, including the Fuel Injection (Fi) system. The scooters now get a warranty of coverage of up to 1,00,000 km, whereas the made-in-India motorcycle range will be covered for up to 1,25,000 km.
As standard, the scooters are covered for 24,000 km and the extended warranty is for 76,000 km. For the motorcycles, the standard warranty is for 30,000 km, and the extended warranty is for 95,000 km. Yamaha portfolio
Yamaha's hybrid scooter range consists of Ray ZR Fi and Fascino 125 Fi and the brand currently has one maxi-scooter as well, which is the Aerox 155. The made-in-India motorcycle range consists of FZ Series, R15, and MT-15. The brand also sells the MT-03 and YZF-R3 as well.

The 2025 Yamaha Aerox 155 S now gets refreshed color options and is now equipped with an OBD2-compatible engine to meet the latest emission standards. The new colors include Ice Fluo Vermillion and Racing Blue. The pricing is set at ₹ 1,53,430 ex-showroom, while the current Metallic Black variant will remain available at ₹ 1,50,130 ex-showroom. The Aerox will still be available through Blue Square dealerships.
Yamaha Aerox 155 continues to come with a liquid-cooled, 4-stroke SOHC, 155 cc engine delivering a max power output of 14.8 bhp at 8,000 rpm and 13.9 Nm of peak torque at 6,500 rpm. It comes mated to a CVT transmission. The engine features Variable Valve Actuation (VVA) and is compatible with E20 petrol.

Over the standard model, the S trim gets a keyless ignition system that simplifies the startup process, eliminating the need for the rider to insert and turn a key. The scooter utilizes proximity detection to recognize the key, allowing the rider to start it by simply twisting a rotating knob. Additionally, Yamaha provides features such as an audible buzzer, answer-back functionality, and flashing turn signals.

ZS leases 50,000 sq ft new office in Hyderabad
NEW DELHI: Global management consulting and technology firm ZS on Monday announced the opening of a new office in Hyderabad , a move aimed at expanding its service capabilities for healthcare and life sciences Global Capability Centres (GCCs) in India. The 50,000 sq ft facility, located at Raheja IT Park in HITEC City , will accommodate about 550-600 employees, the company said in a statement. Concord Control Systems allots 24,681 equity shares
On preferential basis Concord Control Systems has allotted 24,681 equity shares of face value of Rs 10 each at an issue price of Rs 1,418.08 (including premium of Rs 1,410.08) per share to Non-Promoter Allottee for consideration other than cash towards payment of the purchase consideration of Rs 3.50 crore payable by the company to the Non-Promoter Allottee, for the acquisition of up to 3,06,400 equity shares of Rs. 10 each (Purchase Shares), representing 10% of the equity share capital of Advanced Rail Controls held by the Non-Promoter Allottee. Post allotment of the aforesaid shares, the paid up capital of the company has increased from Rs.6,30,04,720/- (63,00,472 equity shares of face value of Rs.10/- each fully paid up) to Rs. 6,32,51,530/- (63,25,153) equity shares of face value of Rs.10/- each fully paid up).

Sensex jumps 746 points amid fresh foreign fund inflows, rally in US peers
Agency: PTI Last Updated: Mumbai, Aug 11 (PTI) Benchmark BSE Sensex rallied 746 points to close above the 80,000 mark on Monday following buying in oil, auto and banking shares amid fresh foreign fund inflows. The 30-share Sensex jumped 746.29 points or 0.93 per cent to settle at 80,604.08 with 26 of its constituents ending higher. During the day, it surged 778.26 points or 0.97 per cent to 80,636.05. The 50-share NSE Nifty jumped by 221.75 points or 0.91 per cent to 24,585.05. 'The market saw a relief rally post a 3-month low; a positive global cue and a gradual return of FIIs supported the sentiment. Investors are positively assessing the upcoming US-Russia Summit this week, which may possibly give way to a de-escalation in geopolitical tensions. 'While a near-term caution may still prevail, the more definite assessment of the US trade and growth impact is yet to be assessed fully," Vinod Nair, Head of Research, Geojit Investments Ltd, said. Among Sensex firms, Tata Motors, Eternal, Trent, State Bank of India, UltraTech Cement and Larsen & Toubro were the major gainers. However, Bharat Electronics, Bharti Airtel and Maruti were the laggards. In Asian markets, Shanghai's SSE Composite index and Hong Kong's Hang Seng settled in positive territory while South Korea's Kospi ended marginally lower. Markets in Japan were closed due to a holiday. Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) bought equities worth Rs 1,932.81 crore on Friday, according to exchange data. Global oil benchmark Brent crude dipped 0.45 per cent to USD 66.29 a barrel. On Friday, the Sensex tanked 765.47 points or 0.95 per cent to settle at 79,857.79. The Nifty dropped 232.85 points or 0.95 per cent to 24,363.30.
