) is expected to announce the SSC GD Constable Result 2025 soon on its official website, ssc.gov.in. The much-awaited result is for the online exam held from February 4 to 25, 2025, to recruit candidates for GD Constable posts.

A total of 53,690 vacancies are to be filled across various paramilitary forces including the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), Assam Rifles, Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), and Special Security Force (SSF).
Aspirants who appeared for the exam can expect the result to be released by the end of May 2025. The announcement will be made in a PDF format listing roll numbers of shortlisted candidates along with cut-off marks categorised by state and reservation category.
This result marks the first step in a multi-stage selection process that includes physical and medical assessments.
When is SSC GD Constable result expected?
The Staff Selection Commission has not shared any dates regarding the release for the result. Candidates who appeared for the CBT exam in February will be able to download their results soon. It is expected that the result will be announced in May 2025. Once an official confirmation is released by the SSC authorities, the same will be informed to the candidates.
SSC GD Constable 2025 Selection Process
The recruitment for SSC GD constable posts is conducted in four stages. These are explained here:
Computer-Based Test (CBT)
An online test with 80 questions from Reasoning, General Knowledge, Maths, and English/Hindi.
Duration: 60 minutes.
There is negative marking for wrong answers.
Marks from this stage count toward the final merit list.
Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
Tests running ability (e.g., 5 km in 24 mins for males).
Only qualifying in nature (no marks added).
Physical Standard Test (PST)
Measures height, chest (for males), and weight.
Different standards apply for various categories and regions.
Medical Exam and Document Verification
Checks overall health and fitness.
Candidates must also verify their documents.

Shining Star Awards for 223 students in Chittoor
The Chittoor district administration will hold the Shining Star Awards event on Monday (June 9) at the Nagaiah Kalakshetram here. The celebrations will begin at 10 a.m. and felicitate outstanding students from across the district. Speaking to the media on Sunday (June 8), District Collector Sumit Kumar said the government launched the initiative to recognise academic excellence in Class 10 and Intermediate. As many as 223 students, including 190 toppers of SSC examination and 33 toppers of Intermediate examination from 31 mandals will be given the awards. Each of the students will be presented with a commendation certificate, a cash prize of ₹20,000 and a medal. The Collector told the parents and students to bring their Aadhaar or school IDs, study certificates and two passport-size photographs. Every student is entitled to bring one parent along with them. In-charge Minister Mandipalli Ramprasad Reddy, MLAs from the district and other dignitaries will participate in the event.
