Michigan State football lands commitment from 4-star offensive tackle
Michigan State football has just cashed in and earned the 11th commitment of their 2026 recruiting class, this time, gaining the commitment of a 4-star product that was atop their big board.
The Spartans have just earned the commitment of 4-star offensive tackle Collin Campbell. A 6-foot-7, 280 pound offensive tackle, Campbell is a prototypical offensive lineman that projects to be one of the biggest pieces in MSU's 2026 recruiting class.
According to On3's rankings, Campbell ranks as the No. 183 overall recruit, while also being the No. 17 offensive tackle in the 2026 recruiting class. He also ranks as a 4-star prospect in the 247Sports composite rankings.
A native of Gilbert, Arizona, Campbell is a standout at Williams Field High School, where he is playing for his father and is gearing up to be a standout at the next level.
The 11th Spartan commit, Campbell joins Eli Bickel as an offensive lineman in the class, joining Kayd Coffman, Braylon Hodge, Cory House, Eddie Whiting, KJ Deriso, Brayden Thomas, Joey Caudill, Eliyjah Caldwell-Hardy and Christopher Knauls, who are all a part of the Spartans class.

BREAKING: Oregon Ducks land commitment from 4-star WR Messiah Hampton The Oregon Ducks picked up a major win on the recruiting trail to kick off the weekend, landing 4-star wide receiver Messiah Hampton, the No. 1 ranked player from the state of New York in the 2026 class. Hampton is a massive win for Oregon's new wide receiver coach Ross Douglas, who developed a close relationship with the blue-chip player while coaching at Syracuse and continued that relationship when he came over to Eugene. The 247Sports Composite rates Hampton as the No. 102 player in the 2026 class, and the No. 11 WR. He stands at 6-foot-1, 180 pounds. He is scheduled to take his official visit to Oregon later this month. It doesn't come as a major surprise that Hampton committed to Oregon. The Ducks were battling the likes of Syracuse, the Ohio State Buckeyes, Penn State Nittany Lions, and Miami Hurricanes down the stretch, among a few others. Ultimately, it is the relationship with Douglas that proved to be the most significant factor in getting him to side with the Ducks. While he is verbally committed, this commitment is long from over, though. According to 247Sports' Brian Dohn, schools like Syracuse and Penn State are expected to stay in the mix for Hampton throughout the fall, so until the pen hits paper in December, this will be an important one to keep an eye on. Auburn football is making a late push to land a four-star 2026 CB from Florida Auburn's late push for four-star CB Danny Odem could pay off ahead of his late-June commitment date. When 2026 cornerback Danny Odem revealed his top schools last month, Auburn was nowhere to be found. Now, just over 10 days until his commitment date, Auburn is among the top schools that Odom is heavily considering. The change of heart comes after a recent visit to Plains. Odem toured the campus and facility, and had a great time developing a relationship with cornerbacks coach Wesley McGriff. McGriff may single-handedly be the reason Auburn is so high in the race with the 11th hour approaching. "When I put out my top teams, Auburn wasn't in there," Odem said in an interview with Auburn Undercover. "Now in my final decision, Auburn's one of my top teams. Coach Crime Dawg (was why). He came to see me, we chopped it up over dinner. Boom." Odem's relationship with McGriff is a major reason for his interest in Auburn, but his campus visit gave him something to consider. Odem admits that he knew virtually nothing about Auburn before his visit, but after taking in the environment, he feels that Auburn is a special place. "It was very impressive," Odem said of his visit. "Way better than I thought. I thought it was like in the middle of nowhere. So it shocked me. The town, the campus, the facilities — it's a great college town. We went to Bunkers and hung out, watched practice, watched them workout. Then just talking with Coach Crime and some of the players." So, who is Auburn battling ahead of his June 23 commitment date? Georgia, Miami, Nebraska, Clemson, Florida, Penn State, Syracuse, and Oklahoma were in his top eight when he released his list in May. He has zero crystal ball predictions from 247Sports recruiting experts, but the Sooners are at the top of the race according to On3, who gives them a 20.5% chance to land his pledge. Nebraska is next at 17.9%, and Auburn is third with a 11.6% forecast. Auburn has 10 days to continue pushing for Odem's commitment, but understands that it will be a tight race for the next week and a half. Odem is a four-star cornerback from The First Academy in Orlando, Florida, and ranks as high as No. 8 within his position and No. 7 among 2026 recruits from Florida.
