Runners can secure a spot in the 2025 Cardiff Half Marathon by supporting the Run 4 Wales (R4W) Charitable Foundation.
The foundation, a not-for-profit social enterprise, invests its surpluses into grassroots sports and community projects.
There are 50 spots available for those willing to raise £250 for the charity.
Entry costs just £10, and participants will receive an exclusive team running vest if they raise £75 by August 8.
Lowri Morgan, extreme endurance athlete, adventurer, and broadcaster, will lead the R4W Charitable Foundation running team.
Ms Morgan, who is also on the charity's board of trustees, said: "The Run 4 Wales Charitable Foundation is extremely passionate about increasing participation and diversity in physical activity in Wales.
"The charity has so far been able to invest £1 million into grassroots sport and community projects within Wales and our team of runners will help us achieve an even greater impact.
"By joining our team at the Cardiff Half Marathon, you'll not only be achieving something incredible yourself, but by fundraising, you'll also be helping children, young people and adults across Wales take their first steps towards a more active and healthier life."

It has also helped establish more than 100 social running groups across Wales and supported 48 parkrun events.

Panthers GM Dan Morgan explains blockbuster draft day trade Rams ultimately declined Show Caption Hide Caption Ashton Jeanty talks all things Las Vegas Raiders and his hopes in the NFL Ashton Jeanty spoke with USA TODAY Sports about his upcoming rookie season with the Raiders and his partnership with Sharpie. Sports Seriously The Carolina Panthers selected wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan with the eighth overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. However, as the team revealed in an episode of "Panthers Blueprint," they considered moving out of the selection and significantly down the board. Why? The Los Angeles Rams were interested in Carolina's selection at No. 8. "There were some trade discussions going on at the time," Panthers general manager Dan Morgan explained. "I was kinda hoping that the trade would fall through because I really wanted to take T-Mac." Despite Morgan's preference, the Panthers and Rams discussed the possibility of a trade before Thursday's draft started. Carolina had an idea of what it would take for them to move from the No. 8 pick to the No. 26 pick – as executive vice president of football operations Brandt Tilis detailed – and Morgan proposed that package to Los Angeles ahead of the event. The price Carolina outlined was deliberately high. "They would have had to give us the moon for us to trade out of that spot," Morgan said. NFL FREE AGENTS: Best fits for Keenan Allen, Aaron Rodgers, more Ultimately, the Rams declined the Panthers' offer. As such, Carolina kept the selection and chose McMillan to partner with Xavier Legette and give Bryce Young a pair of talented, young receivers. That left Morgan – who was "convicted" about McMillan and didn't want to lose him – happy. "I was kind of hoping that they would say no," Morgan told the team's official website. "So when they said no at the end, I was fine with it. I was actually like, 'Sweet.'" Meanwhile, the Rams ended up trading down from the 26th pick and selected tight end Terrance Ferguson with their first pick in the second round, No. 46 overall. It isn't clear who Los Angeles would have targeted had it moved up, but tight end Colston Loveland went off the board to the Chicago Bears 10th overall.

Kirby Smart, Georgia Reportedly Made a Move To Steal 5-Star WR Away From Alabama

Kirby Smart, Georgia Reportedly Made a Move To Steal 5-Star WR Away From Alabama originally appeared on Athlon Sports. With spring football fading further into the rearview mirror, the attention of college football coaches and their staff turns squarely toward recruiting. From May 29 to June 22, it is a quiet period, meaning in-person recruiting contacts are permitted if they occur on the team's campus. Advertisement The Georgia Bulldogs are aiming to build upon a highly successful 2025 recruiting class, which finished second overall according to On3, with another impressive class brewing for 2026. UGA head coach Kirby Smart is reportedly using every tactic at his disposal in the pursuit of five-star wide receiver Cederian Morgan. The country's No. 15 player and No. 2 wide receiver, per On3, has been considered an Alabama lean. But Georgia has been trying to shift his recruitment in their favor, according to DawgsHQ's Rusty Mansell. Georgia wide receiver coach James Coley has been making a lot of visits with Morgan this offseason. The 6-foot-4, 210-pound receiver was recently in Athens, Georgia, and on campus for an official visit with the Bulldogs. Georgia Bulldogs head coach Kirby J. Rebilas-Imagn Images Many college football analysts felt the big piece missing from the Bulldogs last season was a lack of playmakers on offense. With the NFL draft departures of wide receiver Ladd McConkey and tight end Brock Bowers after the 2023 season, the Bulldogs took a step back statistically. Advertisement In 2023, with Bowers and McConkey, Georgia finished fifth in total offense (496.5 yards per game). In 2024, they dropped down to 51st (405.4 yards per game). Among their 2025 recruiting class, per On3, Georgia added Elyiss Williams and Ethan Barbour, two four-star tight ends. They also received five commitments from wide receivers and added three more via the transfer portal. The 2026 recruiting class will run through February of next year, but UGA is already putting in work with a four-star commitment at tight end and two more four-star commits at wide receiver. A player of Morgan's caliber would be a big coup for the Bulldogs. On3 has Morgan with a 92.8% prediction to Alabama and less than 1% to Georgia. Advertisement Last season, as a junior at Benjamin Russell (AL), Morgan caught 70 passes for 1,162 yards and 14 touchdowns.
