Nicholas Hoult dyed his hair just in time for summer
The Superman actor dyed his hair from a dark brown to a bright platinum blonde shade
Hoult officially debuted the hair transformation during his June 25 appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!Nicholas Hoult has officially updated his look for the summer months ahead!
The Nosferatu actor, 35, shocked fans by ditching his signature dark brown hair for a brighter, much bolder shade.
Ahead of Hoult's appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, the actor was spotted in Los Angeles on Wednesday, June 26, with freshly dyed platinum blonde hair.
Hoult gave fans a subtle look at the hair change, and drew attention away from himself by wearing a casual outfit. The Skins actor was seen wearing an oversized blue T-shirt with a "Duke" graphic written over his left breast with light blue denim jeans and crisp white lace up sneakers.
The star's blonde hair was visible underneath a relaxed fit baseball cap in black, which featured the word "manors" in white embroidery.
While Hoult filmed the episode of the late night show alongside his Superman co-star David Corenswet, he wore a butter yellow pullover sweater with green accents, grey slacks and black dress shoes.

The late night appearance doubled as Hoult formally debuting his hair on the show — the star wore his locks, which were shaved down on the sides for a tapered cut, tousled on the top to give the look a stylish edge.
After Hoult's appearance on Kimmel, he took to Instagram and shared that celebrity men's groomer Jamie Taylor and Salon Midori owner Lei Cicero worked together to complete his platinum blonde hair transformation.
Hoult was last spotted with his brown hair on April 22 while attending the basketball game between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Minnesota Timberwolves at Crypto.com Arena in California.

Fans of the Superman star couldn't resist gushing over his blonde hair. "Blonde Nicholas Hoult is not something I knew I needed," one fan mused in the r/popculturechat on Reddit. Another user added, "Ok, but why does Nick look FINE as a blonde?"
The blonde hair change isn't the only new look that fans will see Hoult sporting in the coming weeks. Hoult will be starring as Lex Luthor in Superman — which arrives in theaters on July 8 — opposite Corenswet.
Hoult shaved his head bald for the role, he revealed during a October 2024 appearance on SiriusXM's The Jess Cagle Show with Julia Cunningham. In the conversation, Hoult also revealed that starring as evil villain Lex Luthor was the first time he had shaved his head since he costarred in 2015's Mad Max: Fury Road.
"It's growing back gradually. Yeah, but I did shave my head, which I find quite liberating whenever I've done it for roles," he said. "I kind of enjoyed that. This time, I let my older son get the clippers out and do it for me, which was [fun]."

Google launches Doppl, a new app that lets you visualize how an outfit might look on you

Google is launching a new experimental app called Doppl that uses AI to visualize how different outfits might look on you, the company announced on Thursday. The app is available on iOS and Android in the U.S. Doppl is designed to let you virtually try on outfits on a digital version of yourself. The app works by first getting you to upload a full-body photo of yourself. From there, you can use photos or screenshots of different outfits to virtually try them on. These images could be a photo of an outfit you see at a thrift store or on a friend, or even a screenshot of an outfit you see while scrolling through social media. Once you select an outfit that you want to visualize, Doppl will create an image of a virtual version of yourself wearing the outfit. Doppl can also take these static images and convert them into AI-generated videos so you can get a better sense of how the outfit would look on you in real life. You can save your favorite looks and browse through all of your other virtual try-ons. Plus, you can also share your look with others. The tech giant says the new app builds on Google Shopping's recently launched capabilities that allow you to try on clothes virtually. By launching the functionality in a standalone app, Google is making the feature easier to access while allowing people to explore their style in a fun and interactive way, the company believes. It may also help Google collect more data on how apps like this could work, to aid its future efforts in the space. While Google has offered virtual try-on technology before, the earlier features focused on showing items on a diverse range of models' bodies. With Doppl, the company is letting you try clothes on an animated version of your own body. 'We hope Doppl helps you explore your style in new and exciting ways,' Google said in a blog post. 'As a Google Labs experiment, Doppl is in its early days and it might not always get things right. Fit, appearance and clothing details may not always be accurate.' Given that the Doppl is an experimental launch, it's unknown when or if Google plans to bring the app to additional regions. Trump supporters have a new daddy

Donald Trump is no stranger to selling unusual merch. The President has been known to slap his likeness on Bibles, guitars, and gold-plated phones if it'll bring in a bit of cash. Just last year, The Trump Organization's licensing deals netted Trump tens of millions of dollars in profits. But today, Trump has outdone himself with what has to be his strangest piece of merch ever: a t-shirt featuring his own mugshot captioned with the word 'Daddy.' The shirt, featured in an email newsletter sent from the Trump National Committee JFC, Inc. to subscribers on Thursday, appears to be a limited-time offering separate from the official Trump store. It's being sold through its own webpage with the notice, 'These are going to sell FAST. HURRY, claim your shirt today,' as well as the somewhat more unsettling call to action, 'CLAIM DADDY SHIRT.' The merch-ification of Trump's mug shot is a fairly tired tack at this point, given that the President has already sold pieces of the suit worn in the image, reprinted it on rally posters, and used it as inspiration for his official portrait. Earlier this month, Cara Finnegan, author of the book Photographic Presidents: Making History from Daguerreotype to Digital, told Fast Company that the mug shot has been used so often by Trump's administration that it 'arguably is his presidential portrait' at this point. However, the use of the moniker 'Daddy' is altogether new. It seems to be a nod to a comment made by NATO Secretary Mark Rutte on Wednesday, who appeared to give Trump the title when he said, 'Daddy has to sometimes use strong language.' The media (and, now, it seems, the Trump administration) took the comment as a reference to a viral moment earlier in the week when Trump casually dropped the f-bomb on camera. Rutte has since denied that the term was directed at Trump—but, unfortunately, that didn't stop the White House from posting an edit of the President set to Usher's sexual innuendo-laden R&B song, 'Hey Daddy (Daddy's Home).' Trump himself appeared to endorse Ritter's use to the term 'daddy' at a later press conference. Now, it seems, the Trump National Committee is shortening the lifecycle of real news-turned meme-turned merch. Mere hours after the initial stir around the 'daddy' comment, it's already a shirt. It's not entirely shocking to see Trump's fundraising committee capitalize on this moment, given that his administration has already thrown convention to the wind by constantly glamorizing his mug shot. Still, this development is markedly more unusual—and if this flies as a kind of Presidential merch, we don't want to know what might appear on a Trump shirt next.
