Hoult officially debuted the hair transformation during his June 25 appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!Nicholas Hoult has officially updated his look for the summer months ahead!
The Nosferatu actor, 35, shocked fans by ditching his signature dark brown hair for a brighter, much bolder shade.
Ahead of Hoult's appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, the actor was spotted in Los Angeles on Wednesday, June 26, with freshly dyed platinum blonde hair.
Hoult gave fans a subtle look at the hair change, and drew attention away from himself by wearing a casual outfit. The Skins actor was seen wearing an oversized blue T-shirt with a "Duke" graphic written over his left breast with light blue denim jeans and crisp white lace up sneakers.
The star's blonde hair was visible underneath a relaxed fit baseball cap in black, which featured the word "manors" in white embroidery.
While Hoult filmed the episode of the late night show alongside his Superman co-star David Corenswet, he wore a butter yellow pullover sweater with green accents, grey slacks and black dress shoes.

The late night appearance doubled as Hoult formally debuting his hair on the show — the star wore his locks, which were shaved down on the sides for a tapered cut, tousled on the top to give the look a stylish edge.
After Hoult's appearance on Kimmel, he took to Instagram and shared that celebrity men's groomer Jamie Taylor and Salon Midori owner Lei Cicero worked together to complete his platinum blonde hair transformation.
Hoult was last spotted with his brown hair on April 22 while attending the basketball game between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Minnesota Timberwolves at Arena in California.

Fans of the Superman star couldn't resist gushing over his blonde hair. "Blonde Nicholas Hoult is not something I knew I needed," one fan mused in the r/popculturechat on Reddit. Another user added, "Ok, but why does Nick look FINE as a blonde?"
The blonde hair change isn't the only new look that fans will see Hoult sporting in the coming weeks. Hoult will be starring as Lex Luthor in Superman — which arrives in theaters on July 8 — opposite Corenswet.
Hoult shaved his head bald for the role, he revealed during a October 2024 appearance on SiriusXM's The Jess Cagle Show with Julia Cunningham. In the conversation, Hoult also revealed that starring as evil villain Lex Luthor was the first time he had shaved his head since he costarred in 2015's Mad Max: Fury Road.
"It's growing back gradually. Yeah, but I did shave my head, which I find quite liberating whenever I've done it for roles," he said. "I kind of enjoyed that. This time, I let my older son get the clippers out and do it for me, which was [fun]."
