Extremely Hot Weather Prevails across Egypt on Wednesday, Cairo 37°C

The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts extremely hot weather to prevail in most of the country during Wednesday's daylight hours.
Hot weather is also expected to hit the North Coast.
The country will also witness mist on agricultural and highway roads in Cairo, Canal Cities, Lower Egypt, the North Coast, Central Sinai, and North Upper Egypt.
Wind will occur occasionally in Cairo, Lower Egypt, North Coast, North Upper Egypt, and South Sinai.
Meteorologist also predicts that Egypt will continue to experience a temperature rise.
Furthermore, the Mediterranean Sea will experience low to moderate waves, ranging between 1 and 1.75 meters in height, with northwest surface winds.
The Red Sea will experience moderate to turbulent waves, ranging between 2 and 2.5 meters in height, with northwest surface winds.
Moderate weather is also expected to prevail in Egypt at nighttime and in the early hours.
The predicted temperatures for the following cities are 37°C in Cairo, 30°C in Alexandria, 27°C in Marsa Matruh, 39°C in Sohag, 42°C in Qena, and 42°C in Aswan.

At Least 49 Dead in South Africa Floods
Israa Farhan At least 49 people have died following severe flooding in South Africa's Eastern Cape province, as rescue teams continue to search for those still missing. Authorities warn that the death toll is expected to rise. The floods swept through the region on Tuesday after a powerful storm unleashed torrential rain, fierce winds, and snowfall. The South African Weather Service had issued warnings late last week about a dangerous low-pressure system, urging residents to take precautions and follow safety guidelines. President Cyril Ramaphosa addressed the nation on Wednesday evening, extending condolences to the families of those killed or missing.
