Julia Louis-Dreyfus first met husband Brad Hall at Northwestern University back in the '80s and the rest was history.
The pair, who performed together while in college, would later take their talents to Saturday Night Live and beyond. They got married on June 25, 1987 and welcomed their first son Henry Hall on June 30, 1992. Five years later, they grew their family as their second boy, Charles Hall, joined the family.
Over the years, the couple has also collaborated on a few projects, including SNL, an early-2000s comedy titled Watching Ellie and a 2012 short film called Picture Paris.
'He always appreciates the hard work but sometimes he'll say… we are honest with one another so that if he doesn't think it quite works or something, he'll tell me why. And I'll do the same with his work,' Louis-Dreyfus revealed while on Live with Kelly and Mark back in 2023.
As the couple celebrates 38 years of marriage, look back at some of their sweetest pictures below.
Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Brad Hall met when they were both students at Northwestern University back in the '80s, when Louis-Dreyfus auditioned for a performance Hall was producing with his comedy troupe, the Practical Theatre Company.
She would go on to join and perform with the Company before four of its members — herself and Hall included — would be recruited by Saturday Night Live.
The couple got married on June 25, 1987, in a church in Santa Barbara, California. Thirty-five years into their nuptials, Louis-Dreyfus revealed to Kelly Ripa that she "fashioned" her timeless wedding dress after Princess Diana's.
Louis-Dreyfus and her husband stepped out for a stylish night at the Academy Theater in Beverly Hills back in 1994.
In February 1997, Louis-Dreyfus proudly showed of her baby bump as the happy couple walked the Screen Actors Guild Awards red carpet together. They would later welcome their second son, Charles "Charlie" Hall, in May that year. Their first son, Henry Hall, joined their family five years earlier in 1992.
The couple looked exquisite in their finest black tie attire at the Angle House Cleaning 2000 Democratic Fundraiser Gala at the Beverly Hilton.
Louis-Dreyfus was all smiles in her man's arms as they attended the 12th Annual Environmental Media Awards in 2002.
"31,000 years ago today, I married my current boyfriend," Louis-Dreyfus wrote under this sweet throwback posted in 2018.
No relationship works without a little adventure and exploration. It appears the couple went scuba diving in this throwback Louis-Dreyfus shared for their 33rd anniversary.
Hall, along with sons Henry and Charlie, smiled with pride as Louis-Dreyfus was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2010.
With nearly 40 years under their belt, of course, Hall has been there for all of his wife's biggest milestones. The SNL alumni posed together during the 58th annual Primetime Emmy Awards, where Louis-Dreyfus won Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series for her role in The New Adventures of Old Christine.
And when she walked away a double winner in 2015, Hall was right by her side, beaming from ear to ear. Louis-Dreyfus was awarded a trophy as producer for Outstanding Comedy Series and then for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series.
Brad Hall joined his parents at the 64th Primetime Emmy Awards held at Nokia in 2012.
The entire family stepped out to support their queen at the 71st Emmy Awards in 2019, where she was up for two trophies for her work on Veep.
The Seinfeld actress had the full support of her boys at the special screening for her film Tuesday last June.
Nearly four decades of marriage later, the two graced the red carpet for the SNL50: The Anniversary Special at 30 Rock earlier this year in New York.
The lovebirds looked blissful in this selfie taken in the ocean. "34 years in, keeping our head above water. Love and love to the love of my life," she wrote.

Kristen Wiig & Bill Hader Offended Taylor Swift in SNL's Hysterical Hollywood Dish

When Taylor Swift embarks on the press tour to promote her new album The Life of a Showgirl, it's safe to say she won't be visiting "Hollywood Dish." When Swift hosted Saturday Night Live in Season 35 on November 7, 2009, she was just two weeks away from the 2009 American Music Awards, where she was the most-nominated artist. It was also just two months after the VMAs, when Kanye West interrupted her acceptance speech for Best Female Video. Swift's huge year included this sketch from her double-duty episode, in which she met chaotic celebrity interviewers Brady Trunk (Bill Hader) and Anastasia Sticks (Kristen Wiig). As the sketch starts, Swift immediately claims to be a big fan of Brady, Anastasia, and their Hollywood Dish show. They're flattered, but not flattered enough to go easy on the singer."Six American Music Award nominations. Not bad!" may seem like an innocuous beginning, but Swift is quickly thrown by Brady and Anastasia's unnerving facial expressions and synchronized head movements. "I'm sorry, is everything okay?" Swift asks. "It's just you're nodding a lot, and I thought maybe you were trying to tell me something." "Oh, no, no, no! We just don't want to talk while you're talking," Wiig's character explains. "It'll screw up the sound," Brady adds. "We just do that so you know we're engaged." Ever the amiable guest, Swift plays Swift kept her composure while Bill Hader spit in Kristen Wiig's face Problem is, those active listening facial expressions get a thousand times worse. As Swift shares her nerves about performing live, they mime screaming. When she shares that she feels pretty good about winning at the AMAs, they shake their heads and whisper to each other. "What do you think about Ellen joining American Idol?" Brady asks. "American Idol? I don't really watch it, honestly," she admits — whereupon Hader spits his full beverage in Wiig's face. From there, they smear lipstick on their faces, eat ice cream, and even fall asleep as Swift tries to answer their questions, then leaves when it all becomes too much. Of course, that's not what the final edit shows. Watch "Hollywood Dish" from Season 35, Episode 5 above, and stream every season of Saturday Night Live on Peacock anytime."Hollywood Dish" aired two more times with Jennifer Lopez and Scarlett Johansson Swift starred in the first iteration of "Hollywood Dish," but Anastasia and Brady returned twice in 2010 to interview Jennifer Lopez and Scarlett Johansson. They drove both stars to breakdowns, and they've never conducted another interview since, so it's not a stretch to imagine that they might have finally been fired. Hollywood Dish with Scarlett Johansson Swift has only hosted that one time, but that episode resulted in plenty of memorable moments. In Digital Short "Firelight," Swift channeled Kristen Stewart's Bella Swan in a romance with one of Frankenstein's monsters, played by Hader. She also debuted her impression of Kate Gosselin in a parody of The View, complete with a wig that will be hard to unsee. Solve the daily Crossword

Anna Faris, Regina Hall to star in 'Scary Movie' reboot after 20 years: 'Fab four is back'

Anna Faris and Regina Hall are returning to their roots. Not only are the Wayans brothers – Marlon, Shawn and Keenen Ivory Wayans – on board for "Scary Movie 6," two of the franchise's original stars will also reunite for the reboot, according to an announcement on Friday, Aug. 15. "The fab four is back. So excited to work and reunite with these two brilliant women," actor/writer Marlon Wayans wrote in an Instagram post. "We are so proud of all they have done since the inception of the scary movie franchise." He shared the announcement alongside a movie still from "Scary Movie 2," with Faris as Cindy, Marlon Wayans as Shorty, Shawn Wayans as Ray and Hall as Brenda. Hours earlier, Wayans had teased the announcement by posting a photo of Faris and Hall from the original 2000 film alongside a cryptic caption: "👀 SM6." Hall and Faris' last appearance in the horror parody franchise was 2006's "Scary Movie 4." They didn't appear in the 2013 standalone installment, "Scary Movie 5," which made a lukewarm showing at the box office. Both women found their breakout roles in "Scary Movie," with Faris taking her comedy chops to "My Super Ex-Girlfriend," "The House Bunny" and the CBS series "Mom." Hall starred in "Girls Trip," "Law Abiding Citizen" and "Ally McBeal." The creative minds behind the franchise, the Wayans brothers were only involved in the first two films. Keenen Ivory Wayans directed while Marlon and Shawn wrote and starred in the movies. David Zucker had writer and director roles in the subsequent films. Join our Watch Party! So with the sixth film, he joked, "We're bringing out Lowry's and that Frank's Hot Sauce." "We got the gloves off. We're going R. We're going to have the same fun and the same kind of tone and Wayans flavor that we gave on the first one," he said. "Scary Movie," which pulled in $278 million in the global box office, pokes fun at several movies from "Scream," "The Sixth Sense," "The Matrix," "I Know What You Did Last Summer" and "The Blair Witch Project."
