Leona Maguire and Lauren Walsh open with even-par rounds at Women's Open
With play still underway at Royal Porthcawl, Wales, it's fluid at the top of the leaderboard, but Maguire and Walsh sit in a share of 33rd, four shots off the current lead.

Maguire started on the front nine, bogeying on the first and fourth, before birdies arrived on the fifth and ninth. She again dropped shots on the 11th and 14th, before finishing on a high with birdies on holes 15 and 18.
Walsh also kept an even keel, shooting birdies on the ninth and 11th, and bogeys on the second and 12th.
Anna Foster tees off at 3.11pm.
Japan's Eri Okayama currently leads the field, four-under thru 12 holes.
There are six golfers a shot further back in second, including Japanese trio Shiho Kuwaki, Mao Saigo and Chisato Iwai after opening with rounds of 69.

Tralee girls shine but Ireland fall just short again Scots
Ireland Girls' captain Brenda Craig acknowledged a heroic from her players while the combined side fell just short against Scotland on the opening day of the R&A Boys' & Girls' Home Internationals in Cork. England lead the overall and Girls' standings following their comprehensive 13-8 victory over Wales, as Scotland defeated the hosts 11-10. However, Ireland are just one game point shy of the English in the Girls' standings, before they renew rivalries tomorrow. The combined Irish side had made a fast start and took a 4-3 lead after the morning foursomes against Scotland. Hannah Lee-McNamara and Zoe McLean-Tattan, Kate Dillon and Róisín Scanlon, and Tralee pair Lucy Grattan and Ella Moynihan all won their matches for a clean sweep for the Girls. Caelan Coleman and Harry O'Hara combined for an important point for the Boys. Scanlon and Dillon both won their singles matches in the afternoon and despite further wins for Isaac Oliver, William O'Riordan and John William Burke, Ireland came up just short. 'A little bit disappointed with the overall result but we still got 10 points which is a good start for everybody for the week,' said Craig. 'The girls had a really good day, three great wins in the foursomes this morning followed up with two wins and two halves this afternoon, so we won our Girls' section 6-3, absolutely delighted and looking forward now to England tomorrow. 'We would have preferred to keep the English game until Thursday but we have to play them at some stage so really looking forward to it. 'We beat them in the Girls' match in the Home Internationals last year, we beat them not so long ago in the quarter-finals of the Europeans, so looking forward to another great match tomorrow. First match out so the girls will be going out fresh and looking forward to it. 'Three new girls in and the two Tralee girls getting a super win this morning, and Ella Cantwell getting an absolutely fabulous half this afternoon, so our experienced girls and the new girls are mixing and blending really well. 'There's a long way to go and hopefully we're chatting tomorrow afternoon and I have another smile on my face.' England also impressed against Wales on Tuesday. Charlotte Naughton and Annabel Peaford were part of a 7&6 win, there were three 4&3 results in their favour too as England took a 5-2 lead from the morning foursomes. Naughton had another big 7&6 win in the afternoon, with Alex Boyes (6&5) and Aaron Moody (8&7) also shining. 'We had a really good start in the foursomes, so that's always good to get a couple of points on the board because that's always difficult,' said England captain India Clyburn. 'This afternoon in the singles, we had some good battles out there, hard-fought matches to the end, and some good comebacks from the matches that we did lose, but all really good.'

'I hate Plan Bs': O'Brien's eyes fixed firmly on Rijeka
Europa League third round; Rijeka v Shelbourne, Stadion HNK Rijeka - Weds, 7.45pm Irish time. Plan Bs are for strategists that don't include Joey O'Brien. Shelbourne's manager sees Rijeka, instead of potentially Linfield, as the team to beat for the Reds to secure a maiden European league phase participation. The Croatian double-winners his team faces in the coastal city of Rijeka have form in that regard, reaching the Europa group stages four times between 2014 and 2021. Ludogorets tumbled them back into that eyeline with an extra-time 3-1 Champions League victory last week. Defeat came with a deeper cost of losing two influential attackers, Gabriel Rukavina and Toni Fruk, to red cards and suspension for this first leg. They'll still fancy accounting for the Irish visitors over a tie which concludes next Tuesday at Tolka Park. Managed by former Montenegrin international Radomir Đalović and captained by Bosnia Herzegovina goalkeeper Martin Zlomislić, their squad is a cross-section of nationalities spawned from the former Yugoslavia. The cascading nature of the champions path presents Shels with another shot at the Conference League group if their mission fails. It would probably entail a derby match against Linfield, or more succinctly a rematch after the League of Ireland prevailed in the first All-Island clash last month. Former Ireland international O'Brien is aware of the permutations from Monday's draw, without letting the minds of his players wander towards future possibilities. While Shels players have highlighted the kudos and financial rewards from having six extra games in the next phase, their singular focus on getting there is through the Europa. 'I spoke to the players and I said I hate Plan Bs,' he asserted. 'If you think about Plan B, blah, blah, blah, you take your eye off the ball. You play safe and you play as if it's not too big a deal. 'This is it for us. This is the game we want to attack and this is the tie we want to win.' Shels may have Conor Kearns returning in goal. He limped off in the second, away leg against Linfield to be replaced by Lorcan Healy and then new capture Wessel Speel but could be fit to resume. Qarabag, another team with European pedigree, inflicted a 4-0 defeat on Shels in the second round and O'Brien was loath to offer an opinion on how this test compares. 'It's hard to say because, looking at them from the Ludogorets game, they were the better team and should have won that tie. 'We're prepared for a tough game but there's only so much we can talk about the opposition. It's about players knowing that while we'll have to suffer for times without the ball, biting down the gumshield at times to get through them, we've to make the most of our spells in possession. 'We were guilty last week against Qarabag of too many cheap turnovers, especially in the first half. If you keep giving away possession against this calibre of team, they'll pin you in, the momentum is with them for chances and it's a long night.'
