WWE
is moving fast-paced towards its next major Premium Live Event, Night of Champions, taking place at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. One of the prime highlights at the event will be the King and Queen of the Ring tournaments.
For weeks, the competition was going on in full force. As the dust settled on this week's edition of Monday Night RAW, the finals were set in stone to crown the new King and Queen of the Ring this year.
WWE Night of Champions will see the coronation of the King and Queen of the Ring
The first semi-finals of the King and Queen of the Ring culminated at last week's edition of Friday Night SmackDown. On the women's side, it was Asuka who outlasted Alexa Bliss to advance in the tournament. On the other hand, Randy Orton defeated Sami Zayn to once again secure a spot in the finals of the King of the Ring tournament, much like he did last year.
On this week's episode of RAW, the second semi-finals of the tournaments took place. In the first hour of the show, it was Jade Cargill who competed against Roxanne Perez. The NXT standout displayed a valiant effort against the much bigger Cargill, and both women delivered a spectacular showdown. As the dust settled, The Storm planted Perez with a thunderous Jaded to pick up the win.
As the show progressed, it was time for the blockbuster match between close allies, Main Event Jey Uso and Cody Rhodes, in their semi-final bout.

The duo threw their friendship out the window and hit each other with every heavy move in their arsenal. In the closing moments of the bout, Rhodes countered a Uso Splash and followed it up with a Cody Cutter and Cross Rhodes to seal the victory and head to the finals.
With both of those matches coming to their conclusion, both finals of the tournament were set. Jade Cargill will battle Asuka, while the former teacher protege duo, Randy Orton and Cody Rhodes, will compete against each other for the first time since Rhodes came back to WWE. So it remains to be seen who will reign supreme as King and Queen of the Ring at Night of Champions.

Ryan Coogler on ‘Ironheart' and the rise of spectral tech: "I like to take things one step at a time"

The Ironheart executive producer Ryan Coogler was not thinking of a spinoff series for Dominique Thorne's Riri Williams, who was first introduced in 'Black Panther: Wakanda Forever' in 2022 as a young, Chicagoan, technically savvy person. Once Marvel's team approached him about it, the character's future in the MCU was set in stone. Words of Coogler Coogler told Deadline on the red carpet at the Los Angeles premiere, 'No, no, I like to take things one step at a time' for the series held at the El Capitan Theatre. The 'Sinners' administrator said the character of Riri first came about as a 'foil to [Letitia Wright's] Shuri,' someone who could showcase her growth as she filled a 'mentor' and 'big sister' role. It wasn't until the creative team was 'down the road' on the film that he was approached by 'Ironheart' executive producers 'Brad Winderbaum' and 'Zoie Nagelhout' about a whole show about it. 'It was obviously complicated, wanting to make sure that we were leaving enough room while establishing who Riri was, but it's been so exciting,' Coogler said. 'It's so crazy to be putting this movie out now' The series also serves as the MCU's introduction of weird magic meeting tech through the character The Hood, portrayed by Anthony Ramos, the villain. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Cara Membantu Orang Terkasih Menghadapi Limfoma Limfoma Pelajari Undo A criminal who gets his hands upon a magical cloak powered by the same forces that were in the movie 'Doctor Strange.' Also, when asked about 'Black Panther 3,' Coogler said he's currently 'working' on it. Thorne shared how her STEM-oriented protagonist will deal with things She said the protagonist will deal with 'more mystical side of things. We definitely see her family, her mother try to kind of welcome her into that in a very rudimentary way and also really spiritual way that she is not at all interested in, so I think it's a hilarious journey and also a really tempting journey that we see her go on once she realizes the full extent and capability of the magic side of the world.'

Victim mindset is a choice and I don't choose it: Rachel Zegler

(Picture Courtesy: Facebook) "Snow White" actor Rachel Zegler says online comments can be alarming, but she chooses to avoid having a "victim mindset" and instead focuses on positivity, light and happiness. Zegler, who most recently appeared in the fantasy film "Snow White", received mixed reviews on her casting, with many questioning the makers' choice of the actor in 2021. In 2022, she was criticised again after her comment on Prince Charming from the original 1937's story as she called him "dated", adding how he "literally stalks" Snow White. The 24-year-old actor was asked about the comments people put out on social media. "It's really alarming at times," Zegler told i-D magazine in an interview. "I think a victim mindset is a choice, and I don't choose it. I also don't choose nastiness in the face of it. I don't choose negativity in the face of it. I choose positivity and light and happiness. And I do believe at times, happiness is absolutely a choice, and every day I wake up and I think I'm very lucky to live the life I live," she added addressing negativity. Zegler has also been supportive of Palestine amidst the ongoing conflict in Gaza. "My compassion has no boundaries, is really what it is, and my support for one cause does not denounce any others. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Perdagangkan CFD Emas dengan Broker Tepercaya IC Markets Mendaftar Undo That's always been at the core of who I am as a person. It's the way I was raised," she said. Asked if she thinks her open support can bring potential professional consequences. She said, "There are obviously things that are at stake by being outspoken, but nothing is worth innocent lives. My heart doesn't have a fence around it, and if that is considered my downfall? There are worse things." "Snow White" was directed by Marc Webb, best known for films such as "500 Days of Summer", "Amazing Spider-Man" series and "Gifted". It also featured Gal Gadot in the role of the Evil Queen and released in March.
