Ryan Coogler on ‘Ironheart' and the rise of spectral tech: "I like to take things one step at a time"
The Ironheart executive producer
Ryan Coogler
was not thinking of a spinoff series for Dominique Thorne's Riri Williams, who was first introduced in 'Black Panther: Wakanda Forever' in 2022 as a young, Chicagoan, technically savvy person.
Once Marvel's team approached him about it, the character's future in the MCU was set in stone.
Words of Coogler
Coogler told Deadline on the red carpet at the Los Angeles premiere, 'No, no, I like to take things one step at a time' for the series held at the El Capitan Theatre.
The 'Sinners' administrator said the character of Riri first came about as a 'foil to [Letitia Wright's] Shuri,' someone who could showcase her growth as she filled a 'mentor' and 'big sister' role.
It wasn't until the creative team was 'down the road' on the film that he was approached by 'Ironheart' executive producers 'Brad Winderbaum' and 'Zoie Nagelhout' about a whole show about it. 'It was obviously complicated, wanting to make sure that we were leaving enough room while establishing who Riri was, but it's been so exciting,' Coogler said.
'It's so crazy to be putting this movie out now'
The series also serves as the MCU's introduction of weird magic meeting tech through the character The Hood, portrayed by Anthony Ramos, the villain.

Coogler said, 'It's so crazy to be putting this movie out now, at the time where AI is on the front of everybody's mind, technological ethics are on the front of everybody's mind,' further adding, 'but also — we didn't know it was going to be Dr.

Also, when asked about 'Black Panther 3,' Coogler said he's currently 'working' on it.
Thorne shared how her STEM-oriented protagonist will deal with things
She said the protagonist will deal with 'more mystical side of things. We definitely see her family, her mother try to kind of welcome her into that in a very rudimentary way and also really spiritual way that she is not at all interested in, so I think it's a hilarious journey and also a really tempting journey that we see her go on once she realizes the full extent and capability of the magic side of the world.'

Meri Bhavya Life's Prachi Kowli: Daily soaps offer an unparalleled opportunity to connect with the audience
Television actress Prachi Kowli, currently seen as Uma in Meri Bhavya Life, opens up about the demanding world of daily soaps, the emotional bond they create with audiences, and why the genre continues to hold a special place in her heart. 'While demanding, daily soaps offer an unparalleled opportunity to connect with the audience consistently and meaningfully,' says Prachi, highlighting the unique emotional bridge the format creates between the viewer and the character. Prachi acknowledges that working on a daily soap is no walk in the park. Long hours, rapid turnarounds, and relentless content creation are part of the grind. Yet, she believes it is this very routine that helps embed these shows—and the characters—in the lives of millions. 'The pace actually creates a routine in the viewer's life, making the characters feel like part of their daily world,' she reflects. She also emphasizes how daily soaps encourage deeper emotional investments. 'This emotional honesty allows viewers to connect deeply. When an actor convincingly portrays a character, viewers can become emotionally attached—laughing, crying, or even getting angry with them,' she says. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Buy Brass Idols - Handmade Brass Statues for Home & Gifting Luxeartisanship Buy Now Undo In her opinion, that's the magic no other format can replicate. In long-running shows, characters often evolve with the audience. For Prachi, this is not just professional fulfillment—it's personal. 'Sometimes viewers treat our characters like family members. Their actions may influence how viewers think or behave. That's a huge responsibility,' she explains. At the heart of Prachi's career is the unwavering support of her family. 'They're my biggest cheerleaders—but they don't hold back when it comes to honest feedback. Whether they loved a scene or thought something was lacking, I value their input,' she shares. 'When they say, 'We saw your emotion in that scene,' it truly makes all the effort worth it.' While daily soaps come with a deep audience connection, the public nature of the job has its downsides—especially in the age of social media. 'Genuine appreciation can be incredibly uplifting,' she notes, 'but negative comments—or trolling—are also part of the package.' Prachi admits that she tries to separate constructive criticism from toxic negativity. 'If it's thoughtful, I take it as a chance to grow. But mindless trolling? I remind myself—it's not a reflection of me. ' Looking ahead, Prachi teases big twists in Meri Bhavya Life. 'Some secrets will be revealed that could change the dynamics between key characters. There are intense emotional moments—both heartwarming and heartbreaking. My character Uma will face some of her biggest challenges yet.' With drama, unpredictability, and heartfelt moments lined up, Prachi promises that the upcoming track will keep audiences engaged. 'There's tension, emotion, and even a touch of romance. It's going to test relationships—and show new sides to Uma.' For Prachi Kowli, daily soaps are more than a job—they are a journey of emotion, responsibility, and real connection.

How to defeat or sneak past BTs in Death Stranding 2?
(Image via Kojima Production Co., Ltd.) Death Stranding 2: On the Beach throws the players into a haunting world full of Beached Things (BTs), deadly and invisible entities that lurk within the environment. These are core and terrifying obstacles within Death Standing 2. To successfully navigate or confront entities is important for any porters who are braving a fractured landscape. The guide here reveals some crucial tactics for combat and stealth against otherworldly foes. Using it prepares for sharpening survival instincts. How to defeat BTs in Death Stranding 2 On the Beach or escape it? BTs remain invisible to one's naked eye, but you can track them using your Odradek scanner. When entering the BT zone, the sky will darken, and eerie music will start to play—a clear warning. The Odradek's flaps would spin and point to the nearby BTs, thereby indicating proximity. Note: The Odradek scanner that's linked to Lou offers critical warnings. Crouching would reduce noise and will make it hard for the BTs to defeat you. Moving slowly when monitoring the direction of Odradek will help in avoiding unwanted attention. If the scanner turns orange and starts spinning rapidly, it means BT is dangerously close. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Trade Bitcoin & Ethereum – No Wallet Needed! Death Stranding 2 - How To Kill The BTs Near The Research Lab (Avoid & Defeat BTs) If the worst happens and you get spotted, the environment will shift dramatically. Black tar would erupt and pull you towards the chaotic boss encounter. Fight to escape the grasp of tar, using the quick balance corrections (L2/R2) and the frantic shaking (Square). Sprint towards the edge of the zone desperately. Pro tip: When you get alerted, crouch and move deliberately and slowly in the opposite direction of Odradek's focus. Do not make sudden movements. Gear up the Anti-BT arsenal To flee is not always a choice, especially in a scripted boss fight. In such cases, anti-BT weapons will become essential. To confront BTs head-on requires some specialized weaponry. The standard firearms remain useless here. Early in the game, you will unlock vital BT ordnance like the Blood Grenades. It's crafted from synthetic DOOMS-mimicking blood. The grenades could inflict some real damage. To access them through Grenade Pouch. Aim with the use of L2 and then throw R2 when the red shadow of the targeting hologram confirms a direct hit on BT, thereby guaranteeing the hit. Note: Later unlocks like the Hematic round would offer some precision shots. Later, progress would unlock the firearms, firing some dedicated anti-BT rounds. They offer some precision but quite often have less raw stopping power than the grenades. Quite crucially, not all weapons within inventory would harm BTs. So, make sure to always check the detailed weapons stats screen before you venture into infested territory. Look for distinct ghost icons or just analyze the circular proficiency graph. The effectiveness against the BTs is marked clearly and is quite often indicated via color, reaching the Anti-BT point on the chart. Do not assume that the standard gear would work. For the unavoidable fights, do keep Blood Grenades stocked up and prioritize high-damage throws. The boss battles demand aggression. So, remain mobile, use terrain to the advantage, and exploit weaker points. Gameplay tips for Death Stranding 2 to survive BT Avoid any unnecessary fights. You can do it via crouching or holding your breath near the BTs. Escape smart. In case you are caught, sprint and then stabilize to break free of tar traps. Fight efficiently, and for it, use Blood Grenades and the Hematic weapons to deal maximum damage. Master all strategies, and Death Stranding 2: On the Beach's treacherous world would become far less daunting. Whether you are sneaking past or are just standing your ground, your prep will be the key to surviving in the game.
