Beyoncé and Jay-Z dominate Paris as celebrity drives fashion's biggest trend

PARIS — If any force swept through the fashion industry this season — and sent shockwaves around the globe — it wasn't a new silhouette or a daring color. It was the spectacle of celebrity.
Star power eclipsed fabric and form, transforming the runways of Paris Fashion Week into arenas where A-list icons, K-pop idols, and digital megastars didn't just attend — they became the main event.

Nothing Is What It Seems in Maison Mihara Yasuhiro's "Ordinary People" Spring 2026 Collection

Summary Mastered byMaison Mihara Yasuhirois the skill of splicing – literally piecing together garments, eras, and silhouettes that might otherwise never comingle. The designer's Spring 2026 Paris runway was no exception, taking the art of fashioning the familiar and the fanciful, the past and the present, the 'high fashion' with the low, envisioning a Frankenstein'd, far-from-ordinary assortment of future-facing apparel and accessories. Entitled 'Ordinary People,' the designer's Spring 2026 range speaks to today's news cycle, particularly a commentary on that in Japan. 'In Japan, it doesn't take much to make the news,' he said after the show, perVogue Runway. 'Things like extramarital affairs and smoking scandals can become national stories, but in the world, there are wars, famines, and so much misery.' 'Nowadays, people tag people on social media. If you deviate from the norm, you get tagged,' he continued. 'So I made this for those people. It's a message to people who just want to live a normal life.' Blazers, suits, and overcoats are paired with sweatpants and cargo shorts on the bottom, while half-buttoned Oxford shirts hang loosely over basic tanks and graphic tees. Tuned into innovating the trompe l'oeil technique since early on, Maison Mihara Yasuhiro's Spring 2026 centerfold is its deceiving jacketing silhouettes. On many jackets – denim jackets, varsity jackets, and Sukajan bombers alike – the sleeves are split in half, simply hanging over the look rather than actually encasing the arm. Introduced about a fifth of the way through the runway, comes a collaboration with British-Indian artistNavinder Nangla, his infamous 'Fassion Weak' motif stamped alongside other misspelled tagging like 'Khaos' and different plays on 'Ordinary People.' 'Don't Tag Me' is another slogan that surfaces throughout the range, imprinted in the center of crewnecks and cardigans. As for accessories, models carry catch-all bags shaped like stuffed animals, totes filled with flowers, and don banana-chain necklaces. Lauren Sánchez Channels Audrey Hepburn With Her 3rd Wedding Weekend Look

Lauren Sánchez is on a Roman Holiday… well, not quite, but the star is channelling Audrey Hepburn during her Venice wedding weekend. The former reporter is gearing up to marry Amazon founder Jeff Bezos in a high-profile, and highly controversial, Italian destination wedding, and her latest wedding weekend look is reminiscent of Hepburn's chic 1950s and 60s style. More from SheKnows Lauren Sánchez's Kids: All About Her 3 Children & Their Relationship With Jeff Bezos The 55-year-old bride was photographed on Friday, June 27, leaving the Aman Hotel and getting into a water taxi to travel on Venice's famous canals. Sánchez, as she smiled, waved, and blew a kiss to photographers who flocked to the city to get a glimpse of the lavish event and the protests surrounding it. Sticking to the bridal vibes and bringing an air of class to her Euro getaway, Sánchez wore a white short-sleeved jacket-and-skirt set. Like Hepburn's signature look, Sánchez accessorized with a large pair of sunglasses and a patterned silk scarf covering her dark hair. The look follows a glitzy display on Thursday, June 26, when Sánchez stepped out with her fiancé in a Schiaparelli couture look with an impossibly cinched waist for her welcome party. Before that, Sánchez wore a Vintage Alexander McQueen black gown for a dinner with Bezos upon their arrival in Venice. Sánchez and Bezos, who have been together since beginning an affair in 2018, are welcoming a star-studded guest list to their wedding, including Kim Kardashian, Tom Brady, Orlando Bloom, and Sydney Sweeney. The couple went public with their romance in 2019 and got engaged in 2023. Bezos shares four kids with ex-wife MacKenzie Scott, while Sánchez is a mom to three kids from previous of SheKnows Everything You Need To Know About Elon Musk's Huge Family, Co-Parents, & 14 Children 14 Best Books About Jackie Kennedy's Life & Loves — Get Them for Up to 77% Off Ahead of Prime Day Keira Knightley's Stunningly Experimental Fashion Evolution Through the Years

Lauren Sánchez's Wedding Dress Was Majorly Changed After Her Trip to Space – Here's How

After a week of buildup, we finally know what Lauren Sánchez wore to her star-studded wedding to Jeff Bezos in Venice, Italy! In a cover story for Vogue, Sánchez showed off her corseted, high-necked, hand-appliquéd Italian lace wedding dress, which was custom-made by Dolce & Gabbana. More from SheKnows Kris Jenner & Corey Gamble's Tense Conversation at Jeff Bezos' Wedding Is Raising Eyebrows, per Lip Readers Speaking of the dress, Sánchez explained why she opted for a classic and timeless look rather than the usual form-fitting gowns she wears to red carpets. According to her, her style direction changed after her flight to space with Blue Origin on April 14. 'It was literally one of the most profound experiences I've ever had in my life,' she told the outlet. 'Seeing Earth from space, I came down and I couldn't describe it. It was the greatest experience I've ever had. Jeff said, 'It's gonna change you more than you think,' and it completely has, visually, spiritually.' After that experience, and seeing a reference photo of Sophia Loren's wedding dress in the 1958 film Houseboat, Sánchez shifted styles. 'It went from 'I want a simple, sexy modern dress' to 'I want something that evokes a moment,' and where I am right now,' she said. 'I am a different person than I was five years ago.' 'I went into a lot of therapy and it's changed me in a bunch of ways,' she said of the change. 'But it's really Jeff; Jeff hasn't changed me. Jeff has revealed me. I feel safe. I feel seen. He lets me be me. Like I said about Sophia Loren being unapologetically free, he lets me be unapologetically free.' // Even to herself, the look is a surprising choice. 'It is a departure from what people expect,' she said, 'from what I expect—but it's very much me.' Luckily, she's confident that her new husband will approve. 'Yes. I think he will be pleasantly surprised,' she said. 'I think he's going to be so happy. I mean, it's so elegant, it's timeless.' Sánchez and Bezos, who have been together since 2018 and went public with their relationship in January 2019, tied the knot in a black-tie ceremony on the island of San Giorgio Maggiore in Venice, Italy. Prior to the big day, Sánchez was already impressing us with her looks. During their welcome dinner on June 26, Sánchez looked incredible in a Schiaparelli Haute Couture off-the-shoulder dress with hand-embroidered green and blue flowers and a corset covered in gold bugle beads.
