Rumored new Boston Celtics City Edition jerseys leaked
An image of a new Boston Celtics City Edition jersey may be making the rounds in the wider NBA media sphere. The history of alternate Association jerseys "leaking" has had a checkered past, with the images we see hitting social media platforms occasionally turning out to be accurate, some slightly off, and at times completely fake.
But we have it from a reliable source that at least some of the City Edition jerseys being circulated on social media by ProLine Mockups are the real deal -- and among them is a very solid looking City Edition for the Celtics. It is, according to the image being circulated, a recolorization of their 2017-18 City Editions.
A familiar-looking style of the home whites reimagined with a parquet pattern and gold lettering, it doesn't try to do too much with what is at its core still the classic look we expect to see on Boston's players.
Take a look at the skeet embedded above for a look at the design, we are actually pretty into it and the rest of the jerseys included in the original thread.
Are we into this redesign, or nah?

The 2023 NBA Finals MVP will presumably step into a first option role while Jayson Tatum recovers from achilles surgery. Advertisement Selected No. 3 overall in the 2016 NBA Draft, Brown was joined by Tatum the next season when Boston also selected him third. The two All-NBA wings have been paired together ever since, leading the Celtics to several deep playoff runs and their 18th championship banner. In addition to his accomplishments on the court, Brown has served as Vice President of the NBA Players Association's Executive Committee since 2019. Boston Celtics guard Jaylen Brown (7)Kevin Sousa-Imagn Images This role has been fitting for Brown, as the Celtics star is regularly showing support for other players around the league. On Friday, Brown sent a message to Denver Nuggets star Aaron Gordon that has caught the attention of NBA fans. Advertisement Making his first post since being eliminated by the Oklahoma City Thunder in the Western Conference Semifinals, Gordon shared a series of photos with a simple caption. Celtics-Mavericks Trade Report Surfaces After Cooper Flagg News
Celtics-Mavericks Trade Report Surfaces After Cooper Flagg News originally appeared on Athlon Sports. The Boston Celtics recently made headlines when it was reported by Kevin O'Connor of Yahoo Sports that Duke star Cooper Flagg had a pre-draft interview with them. Widely projected to go No. 1 overall to the Dallas Mavericks, Flagg is not expected to be available when Boston picks at No. 28 in the 2025 NBA Draft. Advertisement Because of this, fans began speculating the Celtics could be eyeing a potential blockbuster trade with Dallas for the No. 1 overall pick. Shutting down this speculation last month, Celtics President of Basketball Operations Brad Stevens confirmed the team met with Flagg, but said trading up for him is not possible (via Zack Cox of Boston Herald). NBA Draft prospect Cooper FlaggDavid Banks-Imagn Images Just weeks after this news that Boston did indeed meet with Flagg, but will not be swinging a deal for him, a new Celtics-Mavericks trade report has surfaced. According to Jay King of The Athletic, Boston and Dallas could very well be trade partners this summer, just not for Flagg. "The Mavericks could make sense as a trade partner for Boston (more on that soon), but not for the top pick," King wrote on Thursday. Advertisement As far as the type of deal these two teams could make, King highlighted All-Defensive guard Jrue Holiday. "With Flagg set to join Anthony Davis in a deep frontcourt, the Mavericks have a chance to field a special defense," he wrote. "Adding Holiday would only turn that group into more of a problem for opponents. Good luck scoring on him with Davis and Flagg behind him." King added, "Making the trade partner an even more logical fit, the Mavericks have a surplus in the frontcourt with Daniel Gafford, Dereck Lively and P.J. Washington competing for minutes, plus some young players such as Max Christie who could appeal to Boston."
