Next's £14 dress that's so popular shoppers say 'I bought five'

Dresses are a staple in any fashion lover's wardrobe, particularly during the balmy summer months. Currently, Boden is offering a 25% discount on all dresses on its website until next Monday when you use the code 7N7G at checkout - you can view all the items reduced in the flash sale here.
Next also offers a wide range of options, with one dress proving particularly popular among shoppers. The Khaki Green 100% Cotton T-shirt Dress, priced at £14, comes in various sizes and fits, including petite, regular and tall, although some fits may be sold out.
The budget-friendly dress is available in a selection of nine colours and patterns. Besides khaki, the dress is offered in black, ecru zebra, stone stripe, multi-coloured, fluro orange, green, palm tree brown and even a William Morris blue print.
Constructed from 'breathable' cotton, Next describes its Khaki Green 100% Cotton T-shirt Dress as ideal for everyday wear in warm weather, whether at home or abroad.
It features a crewneck collar and comes in a 'stylish' midi-length, reports Essex Live. If you're in the market for a cotton T-shirt dress with more length, New Look is retailing this Black Cotton Midi Smock Dress for £19.99.
For something similar but with pockets, Uniqlo has this AIRism Short Sleeve Cotton Mini Dress on sale for £19.90. Each dress colour has garnered unique responses from customers. Notably, the khaki green variant has been met with exceptional five-star reviews.
Heidi was thrilled, mentioning her plans to buy the dres s in additional colours. "Lovely dress, fits nice, twist detail on front of dress is very flattering, great length, can easily be dressed up or down, so good ordered it in another colour," she stated.
Tracy echoed her enthusiasm, saying: "Love these T-shirt dresses, I have bought at least five, great quality. Wash well."
Another customer added: "Great little dress for the summer with a pair of trainers, I ended up going up a size just for a better fit." Some criticism did surface, as one shopper commented, "Badly cut, neck too high, not good cotton jersey fabric."
However, others commended the dress's adaptability: "Very pretty dress and you can keep it casual or dress up, looks very flattering on."
Alison's review stated: "Great price Loose fit perfect for everyday use and can be dressed up or down." Alexandra shared her perspective: "A simple dress to throw on, can also be worn with leggings when it's cooler."
Melanie voiced her affection for the dress: "Love this dress. So much so, I bought other colours too." On the other hand, Nicola reported a different experience: "I just didn't like the colour on me so returned it."
A few customers praised the dress' s comfort and simplicity, recommending it as a great option for casual wear. Some reviewers noted that the dress runs a bit large, suggesting sizing down for a more fitted look. The high street retailer also has a similar style with the Black Twist Short Sleeved T-shirt Summer Dress, which costs £24.
Overall, the feedback on the dress has been overwhelmingly positive, with many customers appreciating its versatility and value for money. Sandra offered a glowing review: "It looked as good as the picture, quality material, well made. It fits and looks lovely on me. I took it on holiday and had compliments. Plus, the price was excellent. Might buy another!".
In contrast, an unnamed customer remarked: "Would have liked it 2 inches shorter, but kept it because of the quality." Next's Khaki Green 100% Cotton T-shirt Dress retails at £14, with other colours and patterns available at varying price points.

Next £10 dress a 'game changer' for anyone who struggles in summer

With a fitted, strapless silhouette and midi length, these dresses offer the ultimate balance between minimalism and ease We've had some scorchers already this year, and summer hasn't even arrived yet. When the heat is relentless - and for me, that's basically anything above 17 degrees - I find getting dressed a real chore. As someone who adores fashion, I really struggle to find an outfit where I'm both comfortable and cool in the heat, but still look stylish - however, I might have just found the perfect solution at Next. And the best part? They're only a tenner. The high street retailer has released a three-pack of ribbed bandeau midi dresses for £30. Effortlessly cool, wallet-friendly and easy to style, frankly, they're a game changer for summer 2025. The retailer has released not one, but two colourways of its bandeau midi dress triple pack. There's a neutrals option boasting black, taupe and a black and white striped version of the dress, as well as a set that features grey, red and lime green for those who prefer to inject a little more colour into their wardrobe. With a fitted, strapless silhouette and midi length, these dresses offer the ultimate balance between minimalism and ease. Made from 95% cotton, with a little bit of stretch, they deliver a flattering, body-hugging feel while remaining breathable - a must when temperatures soar. Plus no straps means no tan lines, no fuss, and no extra heat. Coming in sizes 6-20, the ribbed cotton bandeau dresses that will carry you from a picnic in the park to rooftop drinks without breaking a sweat. As part of the deal, each one works out at £10 apiece. The only downside is that shoppers can't mix and match the dresses or buy them individually. By comparison, Primark's black bandeau mini dress - while a summer staple in its own right - retails at £14 for a single piece. It's shorter than the Next dress and is only available in two shades, and has less cotton in the composition (77%), blended with polyester. Not only does that make the Next version more cost-effective, but also arguably more versatile thanks to its added length and colour variety. It can be paired with flipflops for a day at the beach, trainers for a day exploring in the city, or dress it up with heels and a leather jacket for a balmy summer evening date night. Elsewhere, for those looking for something a little more premium for more formal occasions, the Butter Yellow Bandeau Felicity Midi Dress at Nobody's Child is a beautiful option for £89. But for everyday dressing, especially for those sensitive to the heat, Next's ribbed bandeau midi dress triple packs are a summer no-brainer. Shoppers can get both sets, bagging six dresses for £60. That's your summer wardrobe, sorted.

9 fashion and beauty picks to snap up before they sell out

The items our shopping team are snapping up ASAP, from Joanie, Roman and more Although it might not feel like it outside, June is officially the beginning of summer. Our shopping team are keeping their fingers crossed for sunshine throughout the rest of the month, so they can snap up the summer pieces on their wishlist and get some actual wear out of them. For those who need a little shopping inspiration, our fashion writers - Nisha, Phoebe and Tiffany - are here to help. This week's lineup includes a Nobody's Child boho co-ord that queen of boho chic, Sienna Miller, would approve of and a to-die-for linen trophy jacket spotted on Rochelle Humes. We're also lusting after a pair of Double Buckle Sliders from Boden, which is perfect for poolside wear and hot UK days thanks to the rubber sole. In terms of beauty, it's all about the glow this season, thanks to a shimmery jelly eyeshadow from Paul & Joe. So, without further ado, let's get into it. Nisha's picks: Nobody's Child tie-dye co-ord - from £49 I've never really tapped into the boho trend, but this summer could be the time. I spotted this tie-dye printed co-ord on Nobody's Child earlier this week, and haven't stopped thinking about it since. The set comprises a long, floaty, tiered skirt and a dainty, spaghetti-strap cami top. The skirt has an elasticated waist and pockets (£99). and the matching camisole (£49) rouches in at the waist. It encapsulates fashionable yet effortlessly chic. I plan on wearing the navy set in the UK on hot days and when I go on holiday in September. However, it would also look nice paired with cowboy boots at a festival. If I were to pinpoint a downside, it would be the length of the skirt. Despite being advertised as midi length, it's ankle length on the model, who is 5'7. It will be too long for people who opt for petite lengths (usually 5'4 and below) unless they don't mind paying extra to get it tailored. Next's linen trophy jacket - £64 Rochelle Humes has been expanding her collection with Next ahead of summer, with lots of new additions landing on the website this week. One such release is this neutral-hue Cotton-Linen Blend Trophy Jacket. It's always wise to have a jacket on hand for unexpected downpours, and the blend of cotton and linen material makes it lightweight enough to ensure wearers don't overheat. It has a structured fit, a collarless design and four faux pockets. Size 6 is currently out of stock, but sizes 8-26 are available. One shopper opted to size down, writing: "Lovely material. Very on-trend. Great length to wear with jeans, a skirt or trousers. It can be dressed up or down. It's quite a generous size. I tried size 14 first but sized down to 12." Another buyer noted issues with the sleeve length but resorted to folding them up instead of returning them. On Next's website, Rochelle models the linen trophy jacket with light-wash jeans and ballet flats. Roman's maxi dress - £48 This floaty maxi dress boasts over 100 reviews online, with many reviewers praising its flattering fit. It's a versatile frock that can be easily dressed up or down with different accessories. It's designed with short sleeves, cinches at the waist, and a floor-length skirt. There are several colours and prints to choose from, including green polka dots, a blue paisley print, purple florals, blue florals, teal florals, and a pink ditsy floral. One purchaser bought the green polka dot version, describing it as figure-hugging. They wrote: "I love my new dress. It's very comfortable and fits perfectly. I love the pockets and the feel of the material. It hugs my new figure perfectly and makes me feel like summer has finally arrived." However, one customer noticed a fault with theirs. The shopper bought the frock in the purple floral print and spotted an unhemmed 'bunch of material' gathered within the skirt. They explained: "Because it was a full skirt, I hadn't noticed it when I tried it on. It took me a while to sort it out, which was very frustrating. Had I noticed it at the onset, I would have returned it as faulty. So, ladies, check your hem. Never been disappointed with Roman before." Tiffany's picks: Stine Goya x Umbro Collection - from £40 We all remember the Lionesses' stunning triumph at Wembley in 2022, and to pay homage to the Women's Euro Cup and female athletes, Danish contemporary fashion brand Stine Goya has partnered with Umbro to launch a special capsule, embracing vintage aesthetics with a vibrant fashion twist. The collection consists of six styles: a T-shirt, a long-sleeved T-shirt, a skirt, a mini dress, a windbreaker, a pair of pants and a pair of socks - fusing nostalgic 90s and early 2000s silhouettes with a bold play on colour, material combos, and customised patches and prices starting from £40. There are feminine touches, such as the ruched gathered waist on the traditional unisex windbreaker, and this Striped Logo Motif T-Shirt, £170, features a colourful Stine Goya palette reminiscent of a football jersey. My personal favourite is the Jersey Tee Dress, £200 - a sporty dress that I can see shoppers wearing as trendy streetwear or a tunic. It features a ribbed V-neck collar and contrasting piping details, whilethe back showcases the statement: 'Good Things Shouldn't Take Time'. Paul & Jo Jelly Eyeshadow - £19 I'm not adventurous when it comes to eye shadow colours, especially in summer, as makeup brands launch pastel colours, which make my eyes look puffy. But Paul & Jo's new Jelly Eye Colour has left me intrigued. It is a gel-texture eyeshadow with pearls for a wet-look lustre and shimmering sparkle, and it is cool to the touch. The sorbet-like makeup jiggles like jelly, but a slight finger dab is enough to apply the product. Available in pink and lilac tones like Sparkling Bubble (001) Fruit Sorbet (002) and Summer Flash (003), they're easy to use compared to traditional eyeshadow powders or crayon sticks. I applied it straight to the eyelids for a subtle and natural look, but I can also layer it on top of powder shadow for a more dramatic effect. The semi-solid texture is travel-friendly and spill-proof, but it might be unhygienic for those who prefer to use makeup tools instead of fingers. Liquid eye shadows, such as the Armani Eye Tint, could be a better option due to their wand applicator, and they retail for £32 on LookFantastic. Barry M Glazed Gel Chrome Eyeshadow, £5.99, is similar but in a runny texture as compared to Paul & Jo's. Boots Mini Bag Get Holiday Ready - £32 One thing that gets me excited is packing for holidays; I like to take it as an opportunity to try out new makeup and skincare products. Boots recently introduced the Mini Bag, filled with £124.50 worth of airport security-approved beauty products, and it retails for £32. With six minis and one full size, this Boots edit has covered most of what I'd need on a holiday. It has a 20ml Laneige Water Bank Blue Hyaluronic Acid moisturiser and Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Face Base to keep the skin hydrated throughout the day. For me, mascara is my ultimate desert island makeup, and the mini MacStack is a lash-defining volumising one. The bag also comes with two perfumes - Sunflower Pop from Floral Street and Sol de Janeiro's Cheirose 62. It would be better if they could swap out one as some shoppers found it a 'waste', with one saying: "I don't need two perfumes; I end up giving one away to my mum." Next's Little Luxuries Beauty Box, £18, features five products, including a L'Occitane shower oil, a mini eyeshadow compact from Iconic London, Benefit mascara, an Urban Decay setting spray, and a hair product from Living Proof. Phoebe's picks: Joanie Clothing postcard jumpsuit - £79 The stunning postcard print is set to be one of the most popular patterns this summer, with many retailers using it in their garments. Joanie Clothing has incorporated a cute design into a short-sleeve jumpsuit ideal for the warmer months, which I can see myself wearing repeatedly. Available in sizes eight to 26, the Ithaca Postcard Print Short Sleeve Boilersuit costs £79 and is one of the best uses of the pattern I've seen so far. The retailer has used the design in a colourful, vintage-inspired watercolour that's sure to look stunning, whether worn during the daytime or for evening occasions. The lightweight garment is made from organic cotton and has an elasticated channel at the back of the waist. It has buttons running down the front and useful pockets at the hips. The jumpsuit has received an overall rating of five stars, with one delighted buyer saying: "Love this jumpsuit, the watercolour print is beautiful, the material is quality, and it fits like a dream! I would 100% recommend." It's worth noting that a couple of shoppers advise sizing up. Boden buckle sliders - £46 Boden's colourful Lyla Double Buckle Sliders have been on my wishlist since I first laid eyes on them. They're currently available to pre-order for £46, with the footwear shipping on June 10. The sliders come in four vibrant colourways that will look gorgeous throughout the summer months. This includes red and pink, green and pink, orange and pink, and lilac and green. The footwear comes in sizes 36 to 42 and has two adjustable straps with large buckles. Each slider has a chunky sole, which Boden says will ensure 'no slipping and sliding'. In addition to being perfect for wearing in the UK during the summer months, the Buckle Sliders are the ideal footwear for a holiday. Wear them around the pool, to the beach, or for a day of exploring on a city break. They'd also look fabulous worn with a floaty dress for dinner on a sunny terrace. Philip Kingsley's Density Discovery Set - £54 from £78 As we age, it's pretty normal for our hair to lose its thickness and volume. Philip Kingsley's Density Discovery Set is here to help with shampoo, conditioner and scalp drops designed 'to slow hair loss' while giving tresses a fuller look. What's more, it's currently on offer, down to £54 from £78 - that's a tidy saving of £24. Clinical trials back up the effectiveness of this shampoo. It cleanses the scalp, strengthens hair strands, and provides long-lasting fullness, making it ideal for those struggling with thinning hair. Its ingredients include hydrolysed pea peptides, which provide antioxidant, hydrating, and smoothing benefits. The conditioner also contributes to improving the health and condition of fine hair with its lightweight formula. The scalp drops contain a peptide blend and caffeine to stimulate the scalp and promote healthy hair growth. But Philip Kingsley isn't the only solution for thinning hair. Champo is another brand worth checking out, with its Pitta Volumising Shampoo (£20) promising immediate, long-lasting fullness and body. In fact, it's so popular the brand sells one every minute.

Boden's glittery and 'gorgeous quality' tank top has almost £50 off

Boden's glittery and 'gorgeous quality' tank top has almost £50 off The navy and ivory coloured tank top was £85 but has now been discounted to £38.25 in the sale The top has a relaxed fit with a V-neck, which makes it perfect for layering over tees and shirts (Image: Boden ) A striped tank top from Boden, that customers says comes "with a bit of a difference", is now nearly £50 off in the retailer's sale. The Olivia Merino Tank, which comes in navy and ivory colours, was £85 but has now been discounted to £38.25 in the sale, providing a £46.75 saving for shoppers. The Olivia tank top, as is often the case with Boden's clothes, is a stylish piece of clothing and made out of good quality material. The top has a relaxed fit with a V-neck, which makes it perfect for layering over tees and shirts. It's made from soft merino yarn for a warm layer, but the top's sleeveless design could make this top an appropriate number during the warmer months of the year. From superstar gigs to cosy pubs, find out What's On in Wales by signing up to our newsletter here . The tank top, in navy and ivory colour, is available in sizes XS, S, M, L and XL. Customers can also nab the top in different colours - navy, colour block for £68; multi, rainbow stripe for £46.75 and the amethysts purple, colourblock for £55.75. The top has achieved a rating of around 4.5 out of five stars based on 78 reviews. One reviewer said: "This is a really cute vest. I love the colors and the fit. It fits loose, but not too oversized. "It's great addition to my wardrobe. I will wear it with a white long sleeve tee shirt underneath." Another customer remarked: "I bought the striped tank top and went for Size S rather than my usual M after reading other reviews saying it comes up large and boxy. "It is a good fit and I would recommend going down a size. A tank top with a bit of a difference with the golden glitter details which I love. I only had it a few days and had already a few compliments." While another shopper had this to say: "Gorgeous quality, good fit, I've got fairly narrow shoulders 5'6 9st for reference and bought XS and it fits great, the shoulders drop over mine and I love that look and the flattering V neck so it works for me. "Looks lovely on its own or with a t shirt underneath and lovely soft wool and feels warm and so comfortable, hoping there's more colours coming along". But not everyone was happy with its material or style. One shopper said: "This said it was merino wool, so I was excited to order it in the sale, but when it arrived, the fabric was a much rougher, thicker wool and didn't feel as soft as expected. It was also quite boxy despite be sizing down, so unfortunately I had to return it." If you are looking for a tank top, that's a little bit more unique, there are plenty of options on ASOS, including the ASOS DESIGN knitted lobster tank top in navy for £26. Article continues below Next also has an array of choices, such as the Red White Crochet Patch Square Tank for £29.
