Badrul Afzan Appointed Turtles Head Coach For 2025/2026 Season
KUALA TERENGGANU, June 15 (Bernama) -- Terengganu Football Club Sdn Bhd (TFC) today announced the appointment of Badrul Afzan Razali as the head coach of the Turtles for the 2025/2026 season.
Acting chief executive officer of TFCSB Syahrizan Mohd Zain said the appointment is effective from July 1, 2025 to May 31 2026.
He said that with the appointment, the former interim coach of Terengganu FC (TFC) last season will take on the responsibility of forming the Turtles squad, ranging from members of his coaching staff to the selection of players.

'This decision was made after taking into account several important factors to ensure the club is able to move forward more effectively in the Malaysia League competition.
'TFC will begin training on July 1. Hopefully he (Badrul Afzan) can continue his good performance and bring greater success this season,' he said in a statement today.
Meanwhile, Badrul Afzan said he is optimistic that he can bring the Turtles (fifth place in 2024/2025 Super League) to a greater height this season.
According to him, TFC will come up with several new faces to strengthen the team, thus vying for the Super League title and chasing ASEAN and Asian championship slots.
'I am very grateful to the club for entrusting me the job to manage the main Terengganu team.
'Despite facing great challenges, I am determined to improve on last season's achievements,' he said.
