The Real Housewives star, 55, was seen recovering from a facelift and neck lift surgery in Southern California as she spent five hours under the knife in Newport Beach
Real Housewies star Jacqueline Laurita, recently went under the knife in Southern California and showed off post-op pictures with a bandage around her face.
The 55 year old Real Housewives of New Jersey star flaunted her new look, as the brunette stated that she was in the recovery phase post a facelift and neck lift operation. Taking to her social media, Laurita expressed her positive post-surgery experience, writing, "My 5 hour surgery went great with @doctor.ip here in Newport Beach! SO FAR I can't feel a thing! I feel great!" in her post's caption.

Post-surgery, Laurita reassured her followers, emphasizing that she felt 'fantastic' despite the lengthy five-hour procedure. In the images shared, she could be seen with bandages snugly fitted around her head and lower face, alongside drains tinged with blood protruding from her sides and nasal breathing tubes.

Laurita humorously commented on her recovery process, saying, "I'm still waiting for the other half of my face to wake up that was worked on last. Should be soon!" She followed it up with a light-hearted "That's why it's not moving yet! Lol!".
In her quest for optimal recovery, Laurita mentioned measures to maintain circulation are in place, noting, "I have Aquaphor on my face and I'm keeping my head up and straight forward,".
Expressing profound gratitude, Laurita had nothing but praises for the medical staff aiding her recuperation: "This is a great crew here! Everyone has been excellent!" she beamed. She updated fans with further details about her recovery milestones, sharing, "Catheter will be removed tonight and my oxygen has already been removed. My drains will come out tomorrow and I'll get to go home bright and early!".
The reality star also revealed that fellow 'Real Housewives of Orange County' alum Lynne Curtin had similarly opted for plastic.
Laurita shared her experience alongside Lynne Ann Curtin at a medical centre in California, tweeting: "@lynneanncurtin just rolled in next to me but she's still a little groggy," and noting, "We will talk to her later. I want everyone to see the reality of how this process goes and how we heal! Take care!" Later on, she reiterated her wish for openness with her fans, stating, 'I want everyone to see the reality of how this process goes and how we heal,' showing her commitment to transparency about the healing journey.

Kelly Dodd, Dolores Catania, Teresa Giudice, Taylor Armstrong and Peggy Tanous all extended their warm wishes to her.
In 2023, the celebrity opened up about her fallout with Melissa Gorga and her time on The Real Housewives of New Jersey after five seasons. During an interview with AllAboutTRH, she clarified why she had called out Gorga for allegedly lying about having multiple cosmetic surgeries.
"It wasn't her four nose jobs that I was calling out at the dinner. That was already obvious to everyone,' she clarified of a diss she made on their reality show back in 2016. " she explained, referring to a comment she made on their reality show back in 2016. "Who cares that she did procedures? Everyone on the cast does stuff."
She added: "The part you missed was that I was giving an example of how she can lie with a straight face, like she did when Andy Cohen asked her the first time on WWHL if she had a nose job and she lied straight to his face and said it was 'contour.'".

BREAKING NEWS Real Housewives star Porsha Williams' ex Simon Guobadia deported after ICE detainment

Porsha Williams ' ex husband Simon Guobadia has been deported back to Nigeria after a four month ICE detainment. has confirmed that the 61-year-old estranged husband of Real Housewives Of Atlanta star Porsha, 43, was released from the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement's custody and sent back to his home country. Guobadia is also no longer listed on the system of the US Department of Homeland Security. has reached out to representatives of Williams and Guobadia. His friend Tai Savat told Us Weekly that Guobadia was sent back on a flight home to Nigeria a couple of days ago and was in 'good spirits' despite the tough experience of four months at the detention center which was the first time he was ever imprisoned. Amid the ongoing immigration protests in Los Angeles, Savet said that Guobadia is not mad at US President Donald Trump and would actually like a sit-down meeting with him. Back in February, Porsha broke her silence after estranged husband, Simon, was detained by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). The entrepreneur was being held at Stewart Detention Center in Lumpkin, Georgia, at the time according Us Weekly. His status was listed as 'in ICE custody,' according to U.S. Department of Homeland Security's records. Amid the news in February, the Real Housewives of Atlanta star — who's going through a contentious divorce from Guobadia — took to her Instagram, calling the situation 'disheartening.' 'It's disheartening to see my estranged husband make choices that have led to this outcome. At this moment, my priority is moving forward with my family,' she wrote. Guobadia, who immigrated from Nigeria to the United States in 1982, allegedly overstayed his visa and was declared deportable in 1985. He subsequently returned to the United States in 1986 and once more overstayed his work visa. It came amid President Trump 's order for massive deportations of illegal migrants, which he signed off on earlier this year which the nation has since come to fruition. The order allows for the deportation of undocumented immigrants to their countries of origin. Guobadia, who pleaded guilty to fraud in 1987 and was deported in 1992 after two more arrests, returned to the U.S. a month later. His 2016 naturalization attempt was denied. In 2024, the Atlanta Black Star reported that he had been repeatedly denied residency. In February 2024, he celebrated his life in America, writing on Instagram, 'Happy Tuesday to all who ever overcame and persevered in life. You are winning #42yearsLivinginAmerica.' Porsha filed for divorce just days later, after just 15 months of marriage. The couple said 'I do' in November 2022 after getting engaged in May 2021. Their divorce is still ongoing. Last September, Porsha was granted a major legal victory in her ongoing divorce from Simon. In the latest ruling from the case, the court granted the reality star her request to 'quash' her ex's subpoena and request for a videotaped deposition of her employer, True Entertainment, along with a motion for a protective order according to People. In addition a judge also denied Simon's emergency motions regarding discovery and awarded Porsha's attorney's fees of litigation to be paid by Simon as the filing also pertains to their prenuptial agreement. Simon 'argues that Wife's desire to return to reality television or employment in the future constitutes a non-disclosure of material fact and misrepresentation, that renders the Prenuptial Agreement unenforceable,' according to documents. He also claimed that Porsha had agreed to be a stay-at-home-mom and wife during their marriage and would even forgo her own career which the court found to be invalid. According to People the court did not 'find merit' in his argument 'as the Court finds that Wife has been a reality TV celebrity for years, which was well known to Husband at the time of negotiating the Prenuptial Agreement, and Husband nevertheless married Wife with this knowledge.' In the couple's prenuptial agreement it states that its 'central purpose… is to avoid contested and expensive litigation, including the costly and potentially intrusive discovery process, if an Event of Dissolution occurs.' Now the ruling from the judge reads that the court finds it 'undisputed by both parties that the Prenuptial Agreement at issue in this case was negotiated by the parties with very competent lawyers over a year length of time, and included the exchange of financial disclosures, such that the issues of fraud, mistake, misrepresentation, and duress are clearly addressed in multiple provisions of the Prenuptial Agreement. 'Essentially, the crux of Husband's argument could have been explicitly contained within the four corners of the parties' Prenuptial Agreement, and it was not.' This is considered to be a massive victory for Porsha as she is now at the final step of divorce proceedings and as the couple's prenuptial agreement is upheld by court, she will be awarded her legal expenses by her ex thus walking away a single woman. Back in February Porsha broke her silence over the end of her 15-month marriage to Simon, who she first began dating in 2021. Following news of their split, revealed in court papers obtained by People on Thursday, the star took time to acknowledge the supportive messages and comments she has received from fans. 'Thank you for your prayers & support [broken heart emoji],' she captioned a post, shared with her more than 7.6 million Instagram followers. Within seven hours, she received 109,925 likes and thousands of supportive comments, including one from her Real Housewives of Atlanta costar Kenya Moore, Phaedra Parks and Cynthia Bailey. Simon made his debut on RHOA at the conclusion of Season 13, introduced as the husband of Falynn Pina. However, the pair went their separate ways after the conclusion of filming. On May 10, 2021, Porsha revealed she was engaged to Simon after one month of dating despite him being the ex of her RHOA co-star. 'Yes we are crazy in love,' she captioned a selfie with Guobadia. 'I know it's fast but we are living life each day to its fullest. I choose happiness every morning and every night.' Simon later confirmed the engagement on his own social media, gushing, 'I asked her to marry me because we checked ALL of each other's boxes, and then some.' Porsha is back for The Real Housewives of Atlanta season 16, following her departure from the show after season 13.

Popular TV channel shuts down for good tonight after 11 years in major shake-up

ITV has announced that it is shutting down the ITVBe channel - the home of reality and unscripted programmes - after 11 years, with ITV Quiz taking over the channel's slot A popular TV channel is shutting down for good today after 11 years on air as part of a major broadcast shake-up. ITVBe, which first launched in 2014, became the home of reality and unscripted shows such as The Only Way Is Essex (TOWIE) and The Real Housewives franchise. Comedy fans have also enjoyed American favourites like Jane the Virgin and Crazy Ex-Girlfriend on the channel. However, after tonight, ITVBe will no longer exist, with its reality programmes set to move to a new home as part of a merger with ITV2. ‌ These shows will join other popular ITV2 staples such as Love Island and Big Brother, and will remain available from streaming on ITVX as announced earlier this year. ‌ ITVBe's channel slot will be replaced by ITV Quiz, which will feature a lineup of the TV network's quiz and game shows, the Mirror reports. The line-up will feature shows such as Wheel of Fortune, Tipping Point, Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?, Lingo, Tenable, Deal or No Deal, The 1% Club, Jeopardy! and Catchphrase. Meanwhile TOWIE - one of the most popular shows on ITVX - moves to ITV2, with a special 15th anniversary series set to air this autumn. This isn't the first time TOWIE has been broadcast on ITV2, the reality series originally premiered on the channel in 2010. It helped to launch the careers of Mark Wright, Joey Essex, Lucy Mecklenburgh, Sam Faiers and Dab Osborne. The show remained on ITV2 until 2014, when it transitioned to ITVBe becoming one of its flagship programmes. ‌ In its announcement earlier this year, ITV said: "ITV2 will now officially become the linear home of all of ITV's best-known reality series, as The Only Way is Essex, The Real Housewives of Cheshire and Real Housewives franchises from around the world move from ITVBe to the UK's most successful digital channel for 16-34s, in June 2025. "TOWIE and RHOCH join a rich schedule of returning formats, including Love Island and Big Brother, and exciting new commissions which are lined up throughout the remainder of 2025 on ITV2, and will continue to stream on ITVX. ‌ "The supercharged ITV2 offering also includes animated comedies (Family Guy) original commissions (G'Wed and Transaction) blockbuster movies and younger skewing factual entertainment, like Olivia Attwood's Price of Perfection, which are all also strong performers on ITVX." "Both Love Island and Big Brother are due to return in the Summer and Autumn months respectively, alongside a second series of Olivia Attwood's Bad Boyfriends, following its talked about debut series in 2024," the announcement continued. "The Only Way Is Essex will turn 15 meanwhile with a celebratory Autumn series. The move to ITV2 marks a homecoming for TOWIE as part of its 15th anniversary year, having initially debuted its first 12 series on ITV2." ‌ ITV stated that reality remains the most-watched genre on ITV2 and ITVX, with Love Island and its spin-offs being streamed 2.2 billion times, while Big Brother over 100 million and TOWIE hitting 66 million streams in the 12 months up to April, ITV said. The statement concluded: "As the flagship commissions move across to their ITV2 broadcast home, ITV will retire the ITVBe brand from its portfolio in June 2025. "ITV plans to use the channel slot as ITV Quiz, drawing on ITV's popular, market-leading UK quiz and game shows, and the success and learnings of ITVX FAST channels."

Real Housewives is coming to London? I can't wait for the boozed-up shouting to begin

The cultural juggernaut that is Real Housewives is coming to London. The capital's crop of glamorous, monied middle-aged women with short fuses will apparently include the wonderfully named Panthea Parker, someone known as 'The Longest Legs in Belgravia' (Amanda Cronin), and a Chelsea baker called Nessie Welschinger. It sounds like appointment viewing, but I feel it incumbent on me to ask: is Real Housewives a Good Thing? Gloria Steinem doesn't think so. 'They present women as rich, pampered, dependent and hateful towards each other,' she said in 2021. Other commentators, however, have pointed to the visibility the franchise offers a relatively underexposed demographic; the weighty themes sometimes covered, amid the froth; and the fact that, belying the reductive title, most of the 'housewives' are successful, confident, professional people (albeit with a taste for drama). As an intellectual with a more rarefied cultural diet (early 00s Top Chef, currently), I had never seen Real Housewives before. My mental image of the show was basically that meme of a glamorous woman pointing and yelling at a cat (I was partly right: the woman, Taylor Armstrong, is a Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum; the cat, Smudge, is not). But in preparation for having an opinion on whether the London edition will advance or injure the cause of midlife womanhood, I watched as much of it as I could cram into a morning. And honestly, it's captivating: a loud, baffling smorgasbord of frocks, extensions and heaving décolletés; statement jewellery and high-end athleisure. So much contouring, so many mansions, so many elaborately tablescaped 'events'. But mostly (and I don't think even the greatest aficionados would disagree), Real Housewives seems to be boozed-up shouting. In this, I would argue, it presents an entertaining – even more accessible? – alternative vision of being a middle-aged woman to Davina McCall's rock-hard abs and all those impressive people who start new careers, do charity triathlons or climb mountains. Also, almost every clip I've watched smashes the Bechdel test – they're usually fighting not about men but about which of them has obscurely slighted the other. In conclusion, I declare Real Housewives a net good; bring on the London ladies. Emma Beddington is a Guardian columnist
