Real Housewives star, 55, reveals she had a full facelift while sharing frightening post-op photos
The Real Housewives star, 55, was seen recovering from a facelift and neck lift surgery in Southern California as she spent five hours under the knife in Newport Beach Real Housewies star Jacqueline Laurita, recently went under the knife in Southern California and showed off post-op pictures with a bandage around her face. The 55 year old Real Housewives of New Jersey star flaunted her new look, as the brunette stated that she was in the recovery phase post a facelift and neck lift operation. Taking to her social media, Laurita expressed her positive post-surgery experience, writing, "My 5 hour surgery went great with @ here in Newport Beach! SO FAR I can't feel a thing! I feel great!" in her post's caption. Post-surgery, Laurita reassured her followers, emphasizing that she felt 'fantastic' despite the lengthy five-hour procedure. In the images shared, she could be seen with bandages snugly fitted around her head and lower face, alongside drains tinged with blood protruding from her sides and nasal breathing tubes. Laurita humorously commented on her recovery process, saying, "I'm still waiting for the other half of my face to wake up that was worked on last. Should be soon!" She followed it up with a light-hearted "That's why it's not moving yet! Lol!". In her quest for optimal recovery, Laurita mentioned measures to maintain circulation are in place, noting, "I have Aquaphor on my face and I'm keeping my head up and straight forward,". Expressing profound gratitude, Laurita had nothing but praises for the medical staff aiding her recuperation: "This is a great crew here! Everyone has been excellent!" she beamed. She updated fans with further details about her recovery milestones, sharing, "Catheter will be removed tonight and my oxygen has already been removed. My drains will come out tomorrow and I'll get to go home bright and early!". The reality star also revealed that fellow 'Real Housewives of Orange County' alum Lynne Curtin had similarly opted for plastic. Laurita shared her experience alongside Lynne Ann Curtin at a medical centre in California, tweeting: "@lynneanncurtin just rolled in next to me but she's still a little groggy," and noting, "We will talk to her later. I want everyone to see the reality of how this process goes and how we heal! Take care!" Tamra Judge Reacts to Teddi Mellencamp's Emotional Cancer Update
Because they're such close friends, has been hoping and praying for recovery. As fans know, Teddi has been fighting metastatic melanoma – cancer which has spread to other parts of the body including her brain – for the past several months. But following Teddi's hopeful cancer news, Tamra's finally feeling more positive. She announced that the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum's 'doctors believe [she] will be healed.' 'For those of you who have not heard, Teddi announced on her Instagram that her treatment is working,' Tamra said during the April 25 Two Ts in a Pod podcast. 'Thank you Jesus! The tumors are shrinking.' 'This is a win,' she added, emphasizing that Teddi's health is 'what is important' above everything else. Though Teddi is usually Tamra's podcast co-host, Real Housewives of New Jersey star Dolores Catania has been filling in during Teddi's absence. 'Yes, full recovery coming up, ' the Real Housewives of Orange County star continued. 'Oh gosh, she's just [great], her smile and her demeanor.' Tamra's happiness was evident as she sighed, 'To finally know that it is working is like, 'Oh God.' It's just such a relief.' As one of Teddi's besties, Tamra's stress over her friend's health has affected her work. In March, Tamra had a meltdown and dipped out of an RHOC girls' trip to New Orleans. After a fight with longtime nemesis Gretchen Rossi, Tamra posted on her Instagram Stories that she was 'out' of RHOC. Typed in all caps on a fuchsia background, Tamra shared, 'It was a long run! When life gives you real problems, this reality sh*t doesn't make sense. Peace out [peace sign emoji] I'm out.' Obviously, she was more worried about her friend's health than she was about petty Housewives business. Tamra's temper tantrum came just a couple of days after Teddi announced that doctors had discovered more tumors.
