
Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed chairs Emirates Foundation's first board meeting of 2025

ABU DHABI (ALETIHAD)His Highness Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Development and Fallen Heroes' Affairs, has chaired Emirates Foundation's first board meeting of 2025.His Highness was briefed on the progress of the foundation's projects and community initiatives, as part of its strategy to empower people and promote sustainable development in the UAE.His Highness was briefed on initiatives implemented in line with the aspirations of the UAE Year of Community, highlighting their role in enhancing community bonds, volunteering culture, and social responsibility.
During the board meeting the importance of this stage in the foundation's journey was discussed, as well as its role in delivering the leadership's vision through initiatives that enhance quality of life.

They emphasised the importance of supporting international efforts to promote stability and strengthen peace both regionally and Pakistani Prime Minister commended the efforts of His Highness in advancing peace, security, and stability at both regional and global levels. He highlighted the key role played by UAE diplomacy in promoting dialogue and finding common ground for diplomatic solutions to conflicts and crises around the world. He also expressed his appreciation for the UAE's ongoing support to Pakistan and its impactful development initiatives in the meeting was attended by His Highness Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Ruler of Abu Dhabi and National Security Adviser; His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs; Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Advisor to the UAE President; Ali bin Hammad Al Shamsi, Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for National Security; Mohamed bin Mubarak Al Mazrouei, Minister of State for Defence Affairs; Dr. Ahmed Mubarak Al Mazrouei, Chairman of the President's Office for Strategic Affairs and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive meeting was also attended by the accompanying delegation of the Prime Minister of Pakistan, which included a number of ministers and senior officials. Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development opens registration for 8th Venturist Summer Camp
12 June 2025 15:14 ABU DHABI (ALETIHAD)The Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development (KFED) has opened registrations for the 8th edition of its Venturist Summer Camp, targeting Emirati students aged 13 to 18. The week-long summer camp will be held from July 7-11 2025, at the 42 Abu Dhabi headquarters in Zayed Port, Abu first-of-its-kind camp is designed to empower the youth and enhance their skills in technology and game development fields. Its training programme is divided into two distinct pathways based on age. The first one, for those between the age groups between 13 and 15, aims to build a strong foundation in programming and game development. The second, tailored for those aged 16-18, offers the opportunity to explore advanced concepts in game development and programme serves as a dynamic platform to explore game development in an educational environment, blending learning and recreation. It also encourages collective work and enhances team spirit, while cultivating entrepreneurial and creative thinking. Participants are encouraged to develop innovative ideas and practical solutions that align with current market trends and demands. The camp is organised under the supervision of specialised trainers in game development, aiming to enhance students' skills in programming and project development on the summer camp activities, Mouza Al Nasri, Acting CEO of the Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development, said, 'The camp is much more than just an educational programme, rather it aims to foster a dynamic environment that contributes to enhancing creativity, developing technical skills, teamwork and entrepreneurial thinking while enabling participants to gain game development experience." She added, "Such an approach empowers Emirati youth to hone their skills and develop innovative ideas. This further aligns with our vision to promote innovation in Abu Dhabi, recognising its vital role in strengthening the small and medium-sized enterprise ecosystem, especially within the realm of game development.
