KTR slams Telangana Congress govt for unfulfilled promises

Time of India09-05-2025

Hyderabad:
BRS working president KT Rama Rao
said that the chief minister A Revanth Reddy-led Congress govt had promised to fulfil its guarantees and promises within the first 100 days of coming to power in Telangana.
However, despite completing 17 months in power, many promises remain unfulfilled.Addressing a meeting at Mittapalli village in Khammam district after unveiling the statue of Rayala Seshagiri Rao, a local leader, KTR said, "Though three ministers represent Khammam district, nothing has been done for the district.
"Taking a dig at deputy CM Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, the BRS working president said that Bhatti Vikramarka had made promises to the people in an affidavit, but had failed to deliver."KCR launched the Sitharama project for the people of Khammam and introduced many welfare schemes for the poor during the 10 years of BRS rule," KTR said."People voted for the Congress for a change in the last assembly elections. Congress won all the seats in United Khammam district. Now people should think whether the change they wanted was good or they should feel guilty for not supporting BRS," he said.He alleged that after the Congress govt came to power, many welfare schemes like KCR Kits were not implemented and Rythu Bandhu funds were not released. "Rythu Bandhu, loan waiver and Shadi Mubarak were either partially implemented or completely stalled," KTR said.KTR urged the people not to trust the Delhi parties — Congress and BJP — and to support the BRS in the next local body elections, likely to be held in July this year.Former minister Puvvada Ajay Kumar, MP Vaddiraju Ravi Chandra, MLC Tata Madhusudhan and others attended the meeting.

'They Can't Even…': Tharoor Smirks Then Snipes At China Over Pakistan Stunt In Washington Congress MP Shashi Tharoor offered a sharp and witty reply when asked if India's military action against Pakistan was intended as a message to China. Speaking at the National Press Club in Washington DC, Tharoor said the events and Pakistan's rapid de-escalation spoke volumes on their own. He noted the use of Chinese weapons by Pakistan and India's ability to bypass Chinese radar and defense systems, subtly implying that China may have already received the message without India needing to say a word.#shashitharoor #tharoor #india #operationsindoor #PAHALGAM #pakistan #pmmodi 2.2K views | 9 hours ago
