Aussie salon boss accused of 'outing' UK rockstar Yungblud in now-viral video: 'He hated every second of that'

Daily Maila day ago
A salon owner has been slammed online for 'outing' British rockstar Yungblud.
Sharlene Lee, who owns Perth salon Circles of Hair, shared a clip of herself meeting the musician in Capri, where he was seen alongside his ex-girlfriend Jesse Jo Stark.
Yungblud, whose real name is Dominic Harrison, was celebrating his 28th birthday while sitting near Sharlene on Tuesday when she recognised him, which led her to film a video with the star.
'Circles of Hair is the best salon in the f***ing world,' Yungblud said in the TikTok clip, which has amassed nearly 100,000 views.
The controversial hair salon owner replied: 'This guy is a legend.'
'You're young blood and I'm old blood,' she quipped.
Later on in the video, Yungblud could be seen leaving on a speedboat alongside his ex, which prompted a fan to slam the business owner for 'outing' that he is back together with Jesse, 34.
'The way this lady just unintentionally outed him and Jesse Jo when they've been keeping everything private and low-key,' one person wrote.
Another person said: 'Was he with Jesse Jo???? I can't believe it!!!!'
'So he's back with girlfriend?' another fan questioned.
'Is that Jo Stark, the love of his life?' one penned, with another writing: 'Jesse Jo?'
'He hated every second of that,' one fan wrote while another added, 'Maybe I'm seeing it wrong, but he looks a little uncomfortable.'
The couple first got together in 2021, but recently decided to take a break.
Despite putting their relationship on pause, the pair have been seen together multiple times over the summer, including at Bludfest.
Yungblud took to Instagram on Tuesday to share an array of holiday snaps as he celebrated his 28th birthday.
In one photo, the English rocker sported a Chrome Hearts camouflage trucker cap emblazoned with the words 'Chrome Hearts f**k Hollywood', as he appeared to relax on a boat out at sea.
In another snap posted to his Instagram Story, the singer posed shirtless in just a pair of black swimming shorts, drink in hand, as he let his hair down on the beach.
Referencing the '27 Club', he captioned the birthday post: 'Made it through 27. thank f**k. here's to 28. love you all. I will forever.'
Since the Seventies, the untimely deaths of influential musicians at 27 have led to a popular belief in the so-called '27 Club' phenomenon.
Unfortunate members include Amy Winehouse, Jimi Hendrix, Kurt Cobain and Janis Joplin, who all died at the same young age.

Maya Jama reveals Ruben Dias's incredible trophy room as Love Island presenter poses after bikini-clad holiday with footballer lover

Love Island presenter Maya Jama has shown off footballer boyfriend Ruben Dias ' impressive trophy room in a behind-the-scenes Instagram post. The presenter, 30, who is thought to have been dating the footballer, 27, for several months, finally shared a snap of the two of them in June to go official. During the off-season, Maya and Ruben looked very loved-up as they enjoyed a boat ride on the Italian island of Capri during a sun-soaked getaway. The couple were seen kissing as they had their morning coffee on the yacht, before Maya nuzzled into the Manchester City player's neck. Other racy snaps showed the couple getting close on sun loungers as Ruben leaned over his sun-bathing girlfriend. Now, though, it is back to the day job and Dias is in Manchester City training ahead of the return of the Premier League next week. Maya, dressed in a white and black striped jumper and black sunglasses, shared a snap to her Instagram story on Friday, with her 3.2million followers seeing her... drinking from a Co-op mug. The more interesting aspect, though, was that she was in Ruben's trophy room. A number of awards could be seen in the background, with four replica Premier League trophies on show, as well as a replica Champions League, Community Shield, and FA Cup - the accolades he has won with City. Elsewhere were countless Player of the Match awards, and medals - including Dias' Premier League winning medals. The couple are believed to have met after Maya caught the Portugal player's eye when they met at the European Music Awards (EMAs) in November. Their romance was finally confirmed after they were seen packing on the PDA at KSI's Baller League event in April. And posting a snap with her new boyfriend for the first time, Maya looked incredible in a triangle bikini while soaking up some sun on a boat. She was later diving into the water while Ruben filmed her from the top deck. The broadcaster was all smiles in the clip as she sat alongside the footballer in a car heading back to her house in the first video of the two together. She as been seen at multiple football games over the last few months to watch Dias live in action for Man City. Footage of the pair showed them with their arms around each other before he leant into her neck for a peck, with Ruben flying under the radar in casual clothes and a cap. A source told The Sun: 'Maya and Ruben seemed very close, very loved up and were clearly very comfortable with each other. 'They were chatting to others around them but gravitated back to each other. They seem very happy with each other.'

Alan Sheehan says Swansea plan to build on buzz of Snoop Dogg becoming co-owner

Alan Sheehan has described the 'buzz' since Snoop Dogg became a Swansea co-owner and explained how the Championship club plan to build on the feel-good factor. The 53-year-old American rapper joined a growing list of celebrity investors in British football last month by becoming part of a Swansea ownership group that already included Croatia midfield great Luka Modric. Multi award-winning Snoop said Swansea's 'underdog' story 'really struck a chord with me' and his vast following on social media – 89 million on Instagram and 20.5 million on X – quickly learned about the Welsh club and his love for Joe's ice cream in the city. 'To have Snoop and Luka on board is a massive benefit,' Swansea boss Sheehan said ahead of Saturday's league opener at Middlesbrough. 'There is a buzz, obviously. As a football club you have to become more appealing commercially, to be more competitive, and appeal to the wider nation. 'It's different to how it was maybe when I was a player, but I understand why, and I totally welcome it. 'Rome wasn't built in a day, but there are big plans for the football club. 'It's about building strong foundations and building that character and resilience within the football club.' Comparisons with Wrexham, who are owned by Hollywood actors Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney, are unavoidable and already being made. The two Welsh clubs are Championship rivals this season after Wrexham became the first team in the top five tiers of English football to win three successive promotions. A docu-series tracking life at Swansea, on similar lines to the award-winning FX show 'Welcome to Wrexham', is understood to be already in the pipeline. Asked if Swansea – who were relegated in 2018 after seven seasons in the Premier League – were the 'new' Wrexham, Sheehan said: 'No, we're Swansea. We're not new anything. 'Now they're in our division, I suppose, it becomes more there now (rivalry), but we don't play them until December. So I won't really be speaking about them until December.' Modric – who joined the board in April following a takeover led by American businessmen Brett Cravatt and Jason Cohen six months earlier – was unveiled as an AC Milan player on Monday after his trophy-littered 13-year spell at Real Madrid ended this summer. The 39-year-old has played his part in Sheehan's summer recruitment strategy, actively persuading players to join the Welsh club. 'Obviously, his transfer situation… he was unavailable to come here,' smiled Sheehan. 'We've had a few text messages and he's involved. 'Luka has spoke to some players, passed on his knowledge, what he knows about the football club, and the plans that we have for it. 'Snoop and Luka are very invested in the club. They care, they speak through the ownership and the ownership are very good to us.' So will Grammy-nominated Snoop soon be swapping California for Swansea to watch a game? 'I believe so,' said Sheehan. 'But I'm not sure which game yet. It would be very naive and narrow-minded to think two very successful people in what they do could not help us. 'Successful people have a lot in common – a work ethic, a grit, a determination to get where they want to get to. So with Snoop, Luka and the ownership there is a lot of positivity around the football club.'
