Brentford sign Caoimhin Kelleher as Mark Flekken leaves for Bayer Leverkusen
It is understood the Bees will pay an initial £12.5million for Kelleher, who had only one year left on his contract at Anfield, with the rest due in performance-related instalments.
Kelleher made 20 appearances last season – largely in two spells when Alisson Becker was injured – and wanted more first-team football.

The arrival at Anfield of Valencia's Georgia international Giorgi Mamardashvili, a £29m move agreed last summer, reduced the Irishman's chances further.
Cork-born Kelleher, who has signed a five-year contract, will now look to establish himself as a genuine Premier League number one with Brentford.
'I don't think it was very difficult for me to leave (Liverpool),' Kelleher said on the Brentford website.
Caoimhin Kelleher has today completed a permanent transfer to Brentford.

'I heard of some interest a number of weeks ago. Once I knew Brentford was in for me, it was definitely one I was really excited about and wanted to do as quickly as possible.

Netherlands goalkeeper Flekken made 77 appearances for the Bees following his arrival from Freiburg in May 2023 and missed just one Premier League match last season.
Flekken's move to the Bundesliga will see the 31-year-old link up with fellow Dutchman Erik ten Hag, the former Manchester United manager having taken over following the departure of Xabi Alonso to Real Madrid.
Brentford's director of football Phil Giles said on the club's website: 'Mark has proven to be a seamless replacement for David Raya, who set an extremely high standard during his years with us.
'We were expecting Mark to be our goalkeeper for many more years.
'However, when Bayer Leverkusen made it known that they wanted to do this transfer, and Mark made it clear that he was interested in moving closer to home and with a possibility of Champions League football, we turned our attention towards how all parties could make this happen.
'Mark has done a great job for us and leaves with our thanks and support.'

Michael Wimmer's final game as Motherwell manager was on Sunday, 18 May. He then headed home to Germany before surprisingly informing officials at the Scottish Premiership club a few days later that he wouldn't be returning after just a dozen matches in weeks have passed and we are now well into June. There is still no sign of an appointment and the players are due back from their holidays to start pre-season training on or around 18 June. So what is happening at the Fir Park club? What's the process & who is making decisions? A three-man sub-committee of Motherwell's executive board will draw up a shortlist, conduct interviews and make their managerial recommendation. That is much the same process that brought in Wimmer after Stuart Kettlewell's departure earlier in the main man at the helm, and the driving force behind the scenes at Fir Park, is chairman Kyrk Macmillan. The fashion businessman, whose father-in-law is on the board of Hertha Berlin, is originally from East Kilbride and has watched games at Fir Park with his own father and grandfather for the past 30 will be assisted in the hunt by chief executive Brian Caldwell and digital marketing chief executive Greg Anderson, who is also one of the key figures in the Well Society, the majority shareholding group who own the club. What are they looking for? The board sub-committee will follow the same procedure that led them to Wimmer, using data and metrics to judge how candidates align with the club's values, such as youth there is no reason for them not to do that. After steering them to a top-six finish, he was sacked at the end of his second season after only securing their Premiership status on the final day of the side were very good going forward, but very porous defensively. Consistency was a problem, but their attacking flair, allied to Docherty's fine first season, may tempt Motherwell to consider familiar face is Scott Brown - but could Motherwell tempt the Ayr United boss into his first crack at the Premiership as a manager? Seen as upwardly mobile in coaching circles, Brown made his disappointment at failing to get Ayr promoted from the second tier clear. His experience as a player, added to his contacts, plus his coaching credentials with Fleetwood and in the Championship, might fit if Motherwell are looking for a young, Scottish what about Temur Ketsbaia?The Georgian impressed when interviewed after Kettlewell's departure but was ultimately passed over in favour of Wimmer. Most recently coach of the Cypriot national team, Ketsbaia also coached his own national side and has led both AEK Athens and Olympiacos. His wide experience of the European game and his contacts book would make him an attractive proposition, as would his knowledge of the British game, having played for Newcastle United, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Dundee. 'And then between us, we'll decide about what we do next from that point of perspective. 'That's generally how I've worked and generally how we've discussed how it's going to work. Athletic Bilbao release transfer statement on Arsenal target Nico Williams
Arsenal are interested in signing Athletic Bilbao winger Nico Williams and club president Jon Uriarte has now spoken out about the Spanish international's future Athletic Bilbao have offered an update on the future of Arsenal target Nico Williams, with Gunners boss Mikel Arteta a huge fan of the winger. Arsenal have long been linked with Williams, who memorably shone for Spain as they won Euro 2024 last summer. However, it seems as though Bilbao are confident that the 22-year-old will not be leaving the club. "I believe we have a winning and interesting project for everyone, and Nico is part of that project, just like many other players," Bilbao president Jon Uriarte told Spanish outlet El Correo. "The project becomes easier if we keep our players - and I believe Nico and the rest of the squad have a very exciting year ahead." Uriarte's comments come after it emerged that Bilbao are attempting to persuade Williams to sign a new deal. The winger is currently under contract until 2027 and his deal is said to include a release clause worth around £50million. However, Williams' wage demands are understood to be a stumbling block. Mirror Football understands that Williams would want to be paid more than £300,000-a-week to make him one of the bigger earners in Europe. Barcelona have also been heavily linked with Williams, but their financial restrictions have made the move unlikely. Barcelona have also seen an approach for Liverpool's Luis Diaz rebuffed, with the club unwilling to sell the player unless they receive a bumper offer. Diaz has also i ndicated that he wants to stay at Anfield. "I feel I'm going through a really good period," Diaz told club media. "I'm really happy to be here, to be part of this great institution, this great club and to have great team-mates around me. From the moment I arrived, I felt great pride. "I always tried to work hard for this, and to see that nowadays things are working out for me fills me with pride and I'm really happy because that's what I work for. [But] we are nobodies without our team-mates. "We are a team. The forwards and wingers always try to help with goals and assists, and right now I've achieved good numbers to back that up. It's about playing and then playing well, supporting the team in the way I play and enjoying it, like always." Diaz is out of contract in 2026, but the winger expects talks over an extension to begin imminently. "We will be talking, the talk about it (his future) will happen," he said recently. "For me, I'd stay for as long as possible. It also depends on the club, it all depends on the details. They're all details that are sorted out separately. But I am very calm, very happy and I am enjoying the Premier League."
