Jordon Hudson sports sour look on her face after failing to win Miss Maine USA pageant in front of Bill Belichick
PORTLAND, Me. — Miss Congeniality, Jordon Hudson is not.
Bill Belichick's girlfriend fell short yet again in the Miss Maine beauty pageant, placing second runner-up — and she couldn't hide her disappointment.
Hudson, 24, made it to the top ten in the contest Sunday after earning the style award, but didn't have quite the stuff the strut all the way to the crown.
Jordon Hudson was named second runner up in the Miss Maine USA pageant Sunday.
She previously called out her detractors during the question-and-answer phase of the pageant.
'I hope anyone watching finds the strength to push through whatever they're going through… hate never wins,' she said.
And the notoriously hard-nosed former cheerleader notably missed out on the Miss Congeniality title during that round.
Hudson couldn't hide her disappointment as she lost the pageant.
The comes after scrutiny of her relationship with the 73-year-old NFL coaching legend become a subject of national scrutiny following her terse interjections into a CBS News interview with Belichick.
'We're not talking about that,' Hudson told the interviewer when he asked Belichick about how he met his lithe lover.
Hudson sported a subtle downcast expression through her beaming smile she was named second-runner up — one position worse than her performance in the pageant last year.
Shelby Powell, of Bangor, won the contest and will represent Maine at the Miss USA contest.
Hudson's famously grouchy boyfriend and her father sat together in the front row throughout the pageant, and were seen chatting amiably between rounds.

The reunion to will air this summer on Bravo The Real Housewives of Atlanta season 16 reunion will be missing two of its stars. PEOPLE can exclusively reveal that Brit Eady and Kenya Moore both won't appear on the annual season wrap-up, which films in Atlanta on Thursday, June 5. Each is absent for different reasons. A source tells PEOPLE Eady, 37, skipped the taping on her own accord amid a falling out with her costars, while Moore, 54, was disinvited by Bravo to participate in the reunion. Housewives Porsha Williams, Phaedra Parks, Shamea Morton Mwangi, Kelli Ferrell and Angela Oakley were all in attendance, as was Cynthia Bailey, who returned to the franchise this season as a Friend. Reps for the network did not immediately respond when contacted for an explanation, but did release a reunion seating chart on Thursday that did not include Eady and Moore in the mix. Eady and Moore's teams did not immediately respond to PEOPLE's request for comment. Moore was the longest running RHOA star when season 16 began filming back in April 2024. But her time in the season was cut short when on June 25 of that year, her cast members were told she would no longer be a peach-holder. The former Miss USA winner and actress found herself in hot water when she exposed sexually explicit photos from Eady's past to guests at the June 6-opening of her Kenya Moore Hair Spa. She was suspended and, after an internal investigation, exited the series. A source told PEOPLE at the time Moore was retaliating against Eady after Eady allegedly threatened Moore with a gun during a heated confrontation caught on camera. "Kenya was concerned for her safety, that is the truth," the insider said. "Never for one second did Kenya feel like she was being taken seriously for her fears. It's unfair." But a second insider close to the show insisted that "at no time was Kenya ever threatened with a weapon, nor was there ever a weapon present during the course of production." Viewers eventually got to see the conflict play out during the airing of season 16, where Eady in fact was shown boasting about having a "pistol" for Moore. Eady has claimed her comments were a mistake made in the heat of the moment, and that she "never had a gun in my possession at all." "I still beat myself up, just the act that I allowed her to trigger me. There's no excuse for what I did, for what I said," she explained during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live. "I felt attacked ... I mentioned a pistol, which I never should have. And I was wrong." Apologies have come from Moore, as well. "Hindsight is always 50/50," she said during a November 2024 appearance on Tamron Hall. "If I could do it all over again, I believe the photos were very distasteful, and I elevated the situation. I've elevated situations before, and I've taken full accountability for the things that I've done." She went on to express how "sorry" she was for what she'd done, adding that, "I didn't have to take it that far." "I felt threatened..." she said. "I've never had a child in a situation like this before. So, that's why it escalated to the point where I was protecting not only myself, but my child." Since then, Moore has received support from many of her fellow RHOA stars, including Williams who told PEOPLE at Bravo Fan Fest 2024 in Miami that "forgiveness should be in everyone's future in their own time." "I think that was very noble of her to apologize," said Williams. "At the end of the day, everybody's human. Some people have thresholds, and then you break it and then they go low — or they go all the way to hell. But either way, once you recognize that you've done something to hurt someone and you acknowledge it? I think, let's start there." As for a possible return to RHOA, Moore said on Tamron Hall that she and executive producer Andy Cohen have "had some conversations" and that he's been a "great support system" throughout the ordeal. "That was my family for 12 years. I love them and I feel like they love me, it was just a really unfortunate situation." Cohen, at Bravo Fan Fest, echoed his support for Moore, telling PEOPLE he was "proud" of her for taking accountability but adding that no decisions about her possible return have been made yet. Michelle Beadle doubles down on Stephen A. Smith digs as radio feud intensifies
Michelle Beadle had plenty more to say after Wednesday's news that her former ESPN colleague, Stephen A. Smith, will replace her time slot on Mad Dog Sports Radio with his new Sirius XM show launching this September. Beadle, who went off about it Wednesday on her and Cody Decker's show, 'Beadle and Decker,' doubled down on her comments in an interview with Front Office Sports, acknowledging 'there's no love lost' between her and Smith. 'It's a reminder: We're just all pieces of s–t to someone. If you forgot, there it is,' Beadle said in an interview published Wednesday evening, adding she was 'blindsided' by the news when she found out. Mac Jones embraces fresh start with 49ers after getting passed over in 2021 NFL Draft
Mac Jones is happy finally to be with coach Kyle Shanahan and the San Francisco 49ers even if it came four years after many expected. Jones was linked to San Francisco leading into the 2021 draft but was passed over and ended up in New England. Now after an up and down first four years in the NFL, Jones is trying to revive his career as a backup to Brock Purdy in Shanahan's offense. "Obviously the world works in mysterious ways," Jones said Wednesday. "I'm glad to be back here and learning from a great group of guys, and that's players and coaches. You go where you go in the draft, right? You don't get a lot of choice over that, but I'm definitely excited to be here now." Jones and San Francisco were closely linked leading up to the 2021 draft after the Niners traded three first-round picks to get the No. 3 overall selection. Shanahan was looking to draft a franchise quarterback and was debating between Jones and Trey Lance before San Francisco finally opted for Lance. He made only four starts in two seasons before being traded to Dallas for a fourth-round pick in August 2023, having lost the starting job to Purdy, the last pick in the 2022 draft. Jones had a fast start to his career, helping New England make the playoffs in his rookie season. But Jones regressed the next year after offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels left for Las Vegas, and he was replaced as the starter in 2023. Jones was traded to Jacksonville last March and started seven games for the Jaguars, throwing eight TD passes and eight interceptions. Jones has made 49 career starts, posting an 84.9 passer rating with 54 TD passes, 44 interceptions and averaging 6.7 yards per attempt. He said he didn't hesitate to pick San Francisco in his first shot at free agency and has hopes a stint as a backup here can spark his career in a similar fashion to what happened to Sam Darnold after he spent the 2023 season with the Niners. "I always love watching their tape," Jones said. "When you look at stats around the league, they're always in the top five, you see the little San Francisco logo. So I always love watching what Kyle did throughout the years and to finally get in and learn it, it's been a little bit challenging, but also a great challenge because it's things, some things I've done and some things I haven't done at all." Jones has had a different play caller every season in the NFL and said learning another new offense is like "drinking from a water hose." Quarterbacks coach Mick Lombardi said that experience pays dividends this spring. "He's not new to this," Lombardi said. "He's not new to kind of new terminology new footwork and how to be coached differently. The one thing I love about Mac is he's always here. He's always willing to try new try new things. He's not stuck in his ways, and he really wants to try and do it our way." Lombardi and Jones have familiarity with Lombardi serving as receivers coach in New England when Jones was a rookie in 2021. Jones and Purdy have a relationship that goes even further, with Jones hosting Purdy on a recruiting visit to Alabama in 2018 and the two have thrown together in the offseason near Jacksonville before Jones signed with San Francisco. "We talked about that and joked around with it a little bit, just him being at Alabama and really before he took off too with his career and the amazing, obviously the National Championship run he had and then getting drafted and everything," Purdy said. "It's pretty cool. We were both just young kids both heading into college and then now here we are on the same team. It's pretty cool."
