UAE to host these 10 major global conferences, events in April

The UAE is set to host a series of high-profile conferences, exhibitions, and global events in April.
The events will bring together industry leaders, policymakers, and innovators across multiple sectors, ranging from investment and emergency management to artificial intelligence, aviation, healthcare, and gaming.
The following events will be held this month
Abu Dhabi will host the AIM Investment Summit 2025 from April 7-9 at ADNEC, welcoming over 25,000 participants from more than 170 countries. The summit will focus on sustainable development projects, job creation, and fostering global investment collaboration.

The World Crisis & Emergency Management Summit 2025, organised by the UAE's National Emergency Crisis and Disasters Management Authority, will take place from April 8-9 at ADNEC. It will be accompanied by the Crisis Management Technologies Exhibition, highlighting the role of advanced technologies in crisis response.
The Abu Dhabi Global Healthcare Week will return for its second edition from April 15-17, with over 15,000 participants and 325 exhibitors expected.
From April 27-29, the Culture Summit Abu Dhabi will take place at Manarat Al Saadiyat, under the theme 'Culture for Humanity and Beyond,' focusing on the relationship between culture and global transformation.
Dubai will host Dubai AI Week from April 21-25, featuring the Machines Can See Summit and the Dubai AI Festival. The event is expected to attract over 8,000 AI experts, 500 investors, and 100 exhibitors from more than 100 countries.
The 64th Annual Conference of the International Federation of Air Traffic Controllers' Associations (IFATCA 2025) will take place in Abu Dhabi from April 28 to May 2, bringing together aviation industry leaders.

The Dubai Esports and Games Festival will run from April 25 to May 11, featuring gaming exhibitions, tournaments, and competitions, including the Dubai Cosplay Championship and Play Beyond challenges.

These links can be added to personal calendars or shared externally. To make sure no one misses a meeting, WhatsApp sends a notification to all invitees when the call is about to begin. Interactive features: Raise hand and react To improve group call etiquette, WhatsApp has introduced new tools to reduce interruptions. Users can now raise their hand to indicate they'd like to speak, a feature particularly useful during large calls or team meetings. Additionally, users can send emoji reactions in real-time to engage without breaking the flow of conversation. Empower to build new 47,000 RT district cooling plant at Dubai Science Park

Image: Getty Images District cooling services provider Emirates Central Cooling Systems Corporation (Empower) has signed a contract to design a new district cooling plant at Dubai Science Park, the region's first free zone dedicated to the science sector, hosts hundreds of companies and over 3,000 specialised professionals. It serves as an innovation hub for entrepreneurs, SMEs, and multinational corporations engaged in scientific research and development. According to Empower, the new plant will integrate its award-winning technologies, including thermal energy storage (TES) systems to reduce peak load on the grid and treated sewage effluent (TSE) systems to cut freshwater use in operations. Artificial intelligence applications and other advanced solutions will also be deployed to maximise efficiency and sustainability. Empower currently commands more than 80 per cent of Dubai's district cooling market. The new project forms part of its wider expansion plan to meet the city's growing demand for sustainable cooling solutions. With its 47,000 RT capacity, the new plant will deliver reliable, energy-efficient, and environmentally friendly cooling to Dubai Science Park's residential, commercial, and research facilities. 'Empower currently operates 88 district cooling plants across Dubai. This new facility is a significant addition to our capacity and a strategic step that expands the reach of efficient cooling services. It also highlights our vital role in supporting Dubai's environmental and developmental objectives, while solidifying our position as the world's largest district cooling services provider,' he concluded.
