Aditya Roy Kapur was spotted leaving the Saiyaara success bash, smiling and waving at paparazzi from his car after the film's blockbuster box office run.
Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda's Saiyaara is breaking all the records, and the movie has emerged as one of the biggest blockbusters of the year and what could be a better reason to call for a grand celebration? Amid the film's impressive box office run, the makers hosted a success bash for the Saiyaara team and industry colleagues, and Aashiqui 2 star Aditya Roy Kapur was among the several celebs who attended the celebration.
After attending the grand bash, Aditya Roy Kapur was snapped as he left in his car. The actor smiled brightly as paparazzi captured him leaving from Marriott. Dressed in a casual grey sweatshirt, Aditya waved at paparazzi, greeted fans from inside the car, and left.
For the bash, both Ahaan and Aneet dressed in chic casuals. Ahaan looked dashing in a white tee layered with a grey jacket and blue denim jeans, while Aneet rocked a light yellow sleeveless top with jeans. While no photos of the lead actors together have surfaced, individual shots show them happily posing with others at the celebration. One video captures a team member posing with Ahaan as the remix version of the Saiyaara title track played loudly in the background at the party.
About Saiyaara's success
Despite new film releases such as Ajay Devgn's Son of Sardaar 2 and Triptii Dimri–Siddhant Chaturvedi's Dhadak 2, Saiyaara is holding strong at the box office, with steady collections and positive word of mouth. The film has maintained a remarkable run at the box office, collecting over ₹300 crore in India within three weeks.
Saiyaara, written by Rohan Shankar and Sankalp Sadanah, features great supporting performances from Geeta Agrawal Sharma, Sid Makkar, Shaad Randhawa, Rajesh Kumar, and Varun Badola. The film also marks the first collaboration between filmmaker Mohit Suri and the legendary production company Yash Raj Films.
About Ahaan Panday's performance
Shanoo Sharma, who cast Ahaan in the lead role, revealed that the actor trained with Munjya fame Sharvari for three years. 'The first three years went into training. We trained, and we trained, and Sharvari was also on that bandwagon. So we got Sharvari and him to do improvisation and scenes, and scenes, and scenes. I was training them personally. After that, COVID hit. So when he had his whole waiting period, he joined The Railway Men as an AD," Shanoo shared while talking to The Hollywood Reporter.
She further continued, 'He saw the world moving ahead; he saw everybody from his generation moving ahead. I don't know — I think it must have irked him within, and you could see that if you knew him well enough, but I don't think it ever broke his spirit. The one thing Ahaan has is spirit. He has a spirit on another level. So I don't think it broke that."
