And the 6ft 5" ace has been identified by Arsenal's recruitment team as one of their top targets as they look to add a striker during the summer window.
According to Bild's Head of Football, Christian Falk, the Gunners are already in talks to try and strike a deal which could climb to as high as £85million.
However, Falk indicates that Arsenal will not be allowed to complete the move without competition.
That rival comes in the form of Man Utd, who are also looking to land a new forward.

But Man Utd are said to have a secret weapon in trying to convince the Slovenian about a deal.
The weapon in question is their director of recruitment, Christopher Vivell.
Sesko was personally watched by Vivell back in April, with Sun Sport revealing how he had a "gentleman's agreement" with Leipzig to leave for around £60m if a top club tables an offer.
Vivell has already brought Sesko once before, bringing him to RB Salzburg as a 16-year-old in 2019.

The striker scored 29 goals and added 11 assists in 79 games with the Austrian team, before moving to sister club Leipzig in 2023.
Since arriving in Germany he has netted 39 goals and added eight assists in 87 games.

Reports elsewhere claim Man Utd boss Ruben Amorim has told Vivell to sign him another attacking midfielder after Matheus Cunha, who is set to join the club in a £62.5m deal from Wolves.
That has sparked rumours of them pursuing a deal to land 20-goal Brentford star Bryan Mbeumo, who has an estimated asking price of £50m.

What Kieran Tierney is really thinking about his next Celtic chapter as forgotten teammate teases call fans will love
Colin Kazim-Richards played with Tierney at Celtic and reckons he knows what the left-back is thinking Colin Kazim-Richards reckons nothing would have stopped Kieran Tierney returning to Celtic one day. And he wouldn't be surprised if he's already been on the phone to his old pal Scott Brown to tap him up for a Parkhead return. Tierney has signed a pre-contract agreement to return to Parkhead and he'll officially be a Celtic player from July 1 when his Arsenal deal expires. He spent six years at the Emirates and leaves a popular figure – although perhaps not quite as popular as he is in the east end of Glasgow. Nomadic striker Kazim-Richards was a fleeting teammate of both Tierney and Brown in 2016 and he believes his imminent return to Parkhead was always on the cards – even if he hadn't been hampered by injuries and kicked on like many hoped he would. And, speaking to he reckons the 27-year-old will now fancy his chances of becoming one of Brendan Rodgers' best players. "I think that regardless of whatever happened in KT's career, if he went on to become the best left-back in the world, he would have always returned to Celtic one day. He would have always gone back home. "Obviously, he's been heartbreakingly unlucky with his injuries. He could have been a massive player for Arsenal – they spoke about him as a future captain, everyone loves him there – but sometimes you don't have the luck in your career. Celtic is Kieran and Kieran is Celtic. He loves Celtic. "He might be thinking to himself, you know what, while I'm still young - and I don't want to go back when I'm 34, 35, 36 - I can go back and still massively impact the club I love for the next five or six years. I can go there and be one of Celtic's best players. I can play in the Champions League with my boyhood club. I can win more titles. "The one thing I can say about him is, even if he would have had an absolute blinder at Arsenal, even if he wasn't plagued by injury, he'd always go back home. "I wouldn't surprise me if he's been calling his mate Scott Brown and asking him if he would want to go back! KT and Broonie were like butter on bread. "You know when it's minus 50 outside and he's in a T-shirt, he gets that from Broonie. I love KT. I hope it all goes well for him because he deserves it." Arsenal target Rodrygo handed deadline to 'convince everyone' at Real Madrid he deserves his place
Arsenal target Rodrygo has been handed a deadline to convince everyone he belongs at Real Madrid, as per a report. The 24-year-old developed into an integral player for Madrid since joining from Brazilian side Santos for €45million (£37.9m) in 2019. The forward, who has also won 33 caps for Brazil, may have a lower profile than fellow attackers Kylian Mbappe and Vinicius Jnr, yet he still has a hugely impressive record at the Bernabeu. Rodrygo has 68 goals and 50 assists in 267 appearances for Los Blancos but after a difficult campaign, reports have linked him with a move away this summer, with Arsenal believed to be one of many Premier League clubs interested. And with speculation rampant, Madrid have told Rodrygo he must prove he can fit into Xabi Alonso 's system at the upcoming Club World Cup, according to Spanish outlet Marca. The revamped 32-team tournament runs through mid-June to mid-July, meaning the Brazilian forward has around seven weeks to get back to his best. Teams are expected to take this year's Club World Cup more serious than ever before, considering the mammoth prize pool at stake. The side that takes the trophy home will receive a windfall of $40m (£30m), while a team winning of their games could see them land up to $125m (£92m). For reference, the winner of the Champions League earns around £120m, while the Premier League champions typically earn between £38m and £40m for finishing first. Sky Sports Germany previously claimed Arsenal are in talks with the 24-year-old over a move and that he is at the top of their list of targets on the wing, although he has also been touted with a move to Man City, Man United and Liverpool. Mikel Arteta was pressed on these links prior to Arsenal's final game of the campaign against Southampton - which saw them win 2-1. 'If you want to win titles, you have to be the best in the market,' Arteta said, as he refused to confirm or deny the links. 'The teams that win have the best players. 'It's a matter of pride. It shows we've brought the club to a level where people expect us to challenge for trophies. 'What is clear with the amount of injuries that we had in the front line is that we need a goal threat and we need firepower'. Rodrygo scored 18 goals and claimed nine assists in the 2023-24 season as Madrid won the treble. But he has failed to follow it up this season, only bagging six times and providing six assists in LaLiga. He has scored just once in his last 22 matches, last netting against Atletico Madrid in March. Rodrygo was not called up for Carlo Ancelotti's inaugural Brazil squad, whom the former Madrid boss now manages.
