Get Ready, Nashville Pride 2025 is Here!
Share with your friends! Pinterest LinkedIn Email Flipboard Reddit Forget subtle. Nashville is turning up the volume in June, rolling out the pink carpet for Nashville Pride Month. Whether you're here for the music, the marches, the drag, or just a well-timed excuse to wear sequins and all things glittery, there's something for everyone! Pin Things kicked off on May 30 with Bath & Body, Nashville's Pride Rooftop Pool Party at Virgin Hotels. Think sun, beats, poolside drinks, and a performance from Shea Couleé. But that was just the beginning. The June calendar is stacked, and we're here for it. Check out the third annual Pride Deadlift Party on June 7, which combines lifting heavy things with lifting spirits. Whether you're benching 200 pounds or just holding up your emotional support iced coffee, it's all about strength and solidarity. Then on June 13, it's time for Turnabout, where Nashville Pride board members ditch their day jobs and step into heels for a night of charity drag at Play Dance Bar. (Spoiler: some of them are really good. Others are just supremely brave. We love both.) Not to be outdone, the Nashville Pride Pageant struts in on June 15, with a theme inspired by ancient Egypt … Because nothing says 'divine and powerful' like channeling Cleopatra in rhinestones. Feeling introspective? Spirituality Night on June 18 offers a quiet moment to reflect and reconnect before the main event roars to life at the end of the month. Mark your calendar for June 27, when Grammy-winning pop phenom Kim Petras headlines the Friday Night Concert at Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park. She'll be joined by Estelle (of 'American Boy' fame), Empress Of, and Kylie Sonique Love. Pin Then comes the Pride Parade on Saturday, June 28, with more than 140 entries, music, floats, and rainbows galore. Grand Marshals include power couple Glennon Doyle and Abby Wambach, plus singer-songwriter Joy Oladokun. The weekend festival (June 28 and 29) features a lineup that reads like your most colorful playlist: Big Freedia with Nashville in Harmony, 4 Non Blondes' Linda Perry, Jake Wesley Rogers, The Knocks & Dragonette, GAYLE, and more. Add in over 50 drag performances, three stages, food trucks, cocktails, art installations, and a vendor market, and you've got something for every flavor of fabulous. Think that's all? Think again. Saturday night keeps the party going with the Pink Pony Pride After Party hosted by the incomparable Willam at Play Dance Bar. So, dust off your boots (or heels), grab your favorite flag, and get ready to show up and show out. Whether you're marching, dancing, lifting, singing, or just soaking it all in, Nashville Pride is here to ensure everyone feels seen, celebrated, and completely at home. Cheap Things to Do in Gatlinburg, TN
Share with your friends! Pinterest LinkedIn Email Flipboard Reddit Dubbed 'the gateway to the Great Smoky Mountains,' Gatlinburg, TN, is known for its scenic beauty, cozy cabins, and small-town charm — but you don't need an over-the-top budget to experience it. Whether you're looking for outdoor fun or just need a change of pace, this Southern town offers unforgettable moments that won't drain your wallet. From free attractions to a few insider money-saving tips, here's how to make the most of your next Smoky Mountain getaway! Pro Tips for Planning As you begin to map out your adventures, exploring the Deals page on Gatlinburg's website is a great place to start. The extensive list highlights discounts available at local restaurants, hotels, and attractions, making planning a breeze. You'll also want to peruse Gatlinburg's calendar of free events. Annual favorites include the Fourth of July Midnight Parade & Fireworks, Springfest, Smoky Mountain Tunes & Tales, and the Gatlinburg Farmers' Market. Embrace the Great Outdoors It's no secret that Gatlinburg offers some of the most breathtaking mountain views in the country. While Great Smoky Mountains National Park requires a small parking fee for visits longer than 15 minutes, entry to the park is still completely free. Roaring Fork Motor Nature Trail offers trailheads to not one, but two cascading waterfalls. If you're looking for a hike that's more on the challenging side, take the 5.4-mile loop to Rainbow Falls. While it includes a steep ascent, you're rewarded with spectacular views — the highest single-drop waterfall in the park, standing 80 feet tall. Meanwhile, the Trillium Gap Trail leads to Grotto Falls, a 25-foot waterfall that invites you to walk behind the falls for a one-of-a-kind perspective. It's the perfect spot to find a moment of serene escape. Pin Cades Cove is another must-visit location within the park. Ideal for a scenic afternoon drive, the 11-mile loop includes panoramic mountain views. Plus, be sure to keep your eyes peeled for wildlife sightings. If you want to explore Cades Cove on foot, take the five-mile round-trip journey to Abrams Falls. The moderately challenging hike leads to a 20-foot waterfall. Ride the Gatlinburg Trolley A convenient (and completely free!) way to explore the city, the Gatlinburg Trolley operates 365 days a year. With an easy hop-on, hop-off system, the trolley stops at some of Gatlinburg's most notable attractions, including Ripley's Believe It or Not!, Anakeesta, and Gatlinburg SkyPark. SB Tip: View routes and stop locations in real time using the Gatlinburg Trolley locator. Pin Take A Stroll Along The Parkway Once you hop off the trolley in Gatlinburg's bustling Downtown Parkway, stroll along the streets for some window shopping (or actual shopping if your budget allows!). Popular shops include The Silver Tree, Zi Olive, and Smoky Mountain Soaps. More than just a place to browse boutiques and soak in even more mountain views, this vibrant area of town also offers plenty of photo ops, thanks to its handful of colorful street murals and statues. Pin If you've worked up an appetite, the Parkway is also home to plenty of budget-friendly eateries, whether you need a quick bite or a full-on meal. Standouts include the Sun Diner and Blue Moose Burger & Wings. And, for a sweet treat, don't forget to stop by The Donut Friar. Affordable Adventures If you want to explore some of Gatlinburg's top attractions, we've got some insider tips on how to save on admission. Anakeesta visitors receive a discount when they purchase advance tickets online — prices start at $34.99 for adults and $22.99 for children. Your ticket includes unlimited 'chondola' rides, plus access to Vista Gardens, the TreeTop Skywalk, the AnaVista Observation Tower, and more. Similarly, you'll save money if you purchase your SkyPark tickets at least three days in advance. As one of the most visited attractions in Gatlinburg, the park is home to the longest pedestrian bridge in the U.S. The famous SkyBridge stands 140 feet above ground and is 680 feet long. SB Tip: Many attractions offer combo packages, which can include discounted rates at local restaurants, retail shops, or other experiences. Be sure to ask an attraction ticket counter employee for more information. Pin This article is sponsored by the Gatlinburg Convention & Visitors Bureau. 'Martha Stewart aesthetic' is the trend of the summer, according to Pinterest report
It's been 49 years since Martha Stewart left Wall Street, and the lifestyle maven is as influential as ever. According to the 2025 Pinterest Summer Report , the 'Martha Stewart aesthetic' is poised to take over, with searches up 2,889 per cent on the platform. From her vegetable garden (+72 per cent) to dinner recipes (+45 per cent) and chicken coop (+22 per cent), Stewart continues to inspire. 'It's going to be a Martha Girl Summer,' the Martha Stewart Instagram account posted. 'As we've seen, our founder is influencing the influencers, with many embracing her iconic lifestyle by throwing dinner parties, cultivating home-grown produce and raising backyard chickens.' The nearly three-thousand-fold increase includes Stewart-specific search terms, such as 'Martha Stewart chicken coop,' and more general ones that Pinterest attributes to her sway, including 'fresh summer recipes.' Stewart's estate in Bedford, New York, spans 153 acres. When she bought it in 2000, it was 'a blank canvas,' according to a Facebook post . Today, it's filled with rose beds, daffodils, orchards, vegetable plots and a greenhouse dedicated to begonias. 'My father taught me that you can do it all from scratch, starting from seeds or cuttings, and if you nurture them, they will produce,' she said. 'For me, gardening is all about scent, colour, and variety, variety, and more variety.' In the spirit of Stewart's DIY philosophy, Pinterest users are gravitating toward harvest recipes (+680 per cent), urban farming (+374 per cent), flower gardens (+259 per cent), small backyard vegetable gardens (+246 per cent) and garden-to-table cooking (+117 per cent). 'This back-to-basics approach not only fosters a reconnection to nature but also pairs seamlessly with the rise of summer detox drinks, with searches up 566 per cent on Pinterest,' according to the report. As people have started drinking less alcohol, especially young adults, functional beverages have filled the gap. These drinks, particularly popular among millennials and Gen Z, are designed to deliver health benefits beyond hydration and may be infused with herbs, vitamins and minerals, protein or CBD. Green juices for gut health (+316 per cent) — which Stewart drinks every morning — flavoured water drinks (+289 per cent), spinach smoothies that taste good (+227 per cent), anti-inflammatory drinks (+289 per cent) and herbal infusion recipes (+71 per cent) are among the summer detox drinks quenching Pinterest users' thirst. Whether low-alcohol, non-alcoholic or boozy, 'The popularity of savoury cocktails reflects a curiosity for innovative beverage experiences, marrying fresh produce and herbs with creative cocktail concoctions for a refreshing twist on traditional summer sips.'
