Gatsby Dubai is the Ultimate Summer Party Playground with Nonstop Fun, and Exceptional Vibes

Web Release09-06-2025
As the warmer season sets in, Gatsby Dubai is stepping back into the spotlight as the city's ultimate indoor escape for high-energy nights and 1920s-inspired opulence. Tucked away in the heart of Palm Jumeirah, this glamorous venue brings together bold flavours, dazzling entertainment, and after-dark revelry – all under one roof. More than just dinner and drinks, Gatsby Dubai is the place to beat the heat this summer, promising an all-night spectacle where the party never cools down.
Think the Roaring Twenties, only reimagined for Dubai's discerning modern socialites. Gatsby Dubai channels the bold spirit of the Prohibition era, when soirées went underground, music took centre stage, and every night held the promise of mischief. Here, that secret-society allure is brought out into the open, with vintage influences, rule-breaking cocktails, and an electric atmosphere that's anything but hush-hush.
Every inch of Gatsby exudes throwback sophistication with a dazzling edge. It's where Art Deco meets after-dark drama. Picture glittering chandeliers, golden accents, plush velvet booths, and rich, moody lighting that makes everyone look like a star. Lush greenery creeps from the ceiling, while a central bar steals the spotlight.
At Gatsby Dubai, the entertainment comes in waves, and each act is more captivating than the last. Featuring a series of high-energy live acts and immersive performances alongside show-stopping dancers and DJs, the venue transforms from an upscale dinner setting to a high-octane celebration, redefining the idea of dinner and a show in all the right ways.
As for culinary delights, guests can expect a spread worthy of one of Gatsby's lavish parties. The menu presents an array of Mediterranean plates made from the finest seasonal ingredients, inviting diners to savour light yet satisfying bites such as the delicate Pimientos del Padrón, crispy Calamares Fritos, luxurious Oscietra Caviar, and fresh Oysters. As for the main event, the flavourful celebration continues with must-try dishes like the rich and creamy Lobster Calamarata, the perfectly cooked Angus Tenderloin from the Josper grill, and the succulent Mediterranean Style Seabass from the sea.
For a sweet finale, conclude your feast with a dreamy Basque Cheesecake drizzled in cherry coulis or indulge in the decadent Chocolate Fudge Tarte layered with velvety Valrhona chocolate and a swirl of dulce de leche. Meanwhile, ensure your glass is always full and ready to toast the evening with eclectic, 1920s-inspired concoctions. Sip on the fizzy and floral Gatsby Secrets, raise a glass to freedom with the smoky-spiced Prohibition Is Over, or channel your inner starlet with the silky, strawberry-infused Golden Girl, all expertly crafted by mixologists.

Meet the Reborn Destino Five Ibiza: The New Jewel Of The White Isle

After a luxe transformation by one of Dubai's most visionary developers, this legendary resort is now the go-to for style-conscious travellers seeking great food, iconic DJ sets and the ultimate Ibiza-chic stay Whether you're a gourmet traveller seeking a hotel with serious chef credentials, a burnt-out businesswoman craving a wellness escape, or a group of friends after a stylish spot to crash post-party, Ibiza has never been short on luxury hotels that tick all the right boxes. But after a transformation by Dubai's Five Holdings, there's one place that is currently stealing the White Isle spotlight right now: Destino Five Ibiza. The resort reopened its doors in early June with a well-earned five-star status thanks to British-Emirati property developer Nadia Zaal – the visionary behind Al Barari and Nurai Island – who led a meticulous seven-month overhaul of everything from the guest rooms to the beach club. And her efforts paid off – on arrival, guests are greeted with an expansive panorama of the resort and sea views from the light-filled lobby, while its 159 stylish rooms and suites all come carefully crafted with refined contemporary aesthetics in neutral colour palettes. Touches of Ibiza's free-spirited flair remain, from tie-dye accents and neon-lit mirrored ceilings to pools splashed in bold, joyful hues. The crème de la crème rooms are the Cherry Vista and Cherry Suites, which come complete with expansive private terraces, large private pools and breathtaking views of Ibiza's majestic shores and the azure waters of the Mediterranean Sea. Elsewhere, the resort's communal areas are equally as plush, now boasting a fire pit for starlit evenings, a fantastic outdoor gym and an open-air stage set to host cult-name performances throughout the season, but more on that later. As you'd expect, the culinary scene here is top-notch too, and you can choose from three standout venues including all-day dining hotspot Cielo, which is the perfect place to begin your day with a lavish breakfast buffet featuring live cooking stations, fresh juices and Mediterranean favourites like made-to-order eggs, local fruits and creamy yoghurts. Come lunchtime, well-heeled diners tuck into everything from crisp salads and handmade pastas to the local catch of the day. For dinner with a view, head to Elia which, perched cliffside with panoramic vistas over Talamanca Bay, Dalt Vila and Formentera's horizon, serves up a menu of fresh daily catches, succulent grilled meats, vibrant mezze platters, dips like tzatziki and melitzanosalata, plus signature small plates paired with wine or artful cocktails. Last but not least, there's the newly redesigned beach club, Playa Pacha, where guests lounge by the hotel's iconic cherry-shaped pool in Prada bucket hats, graze on Mediterranean bites and sip rosé by day, meanwhile, come nightfall, the DJs take over, spinning late into the evening for the ultimate Ibiza day-to-night party. Speaking of a party, while the White Isle may be best known for its impressive array of spots to let your hair down, those in the know are heading straight to Destino Five Ibiza for its Pacha Icons series, where some of the world's top DJs are taking to the resort's open-air stage. Case in point? Sonny Federa, Grammy-nominated UK duo CamelPhat, Abracadabra (the first female-led headline residency in Pacha Ibiza's history) and Canadian star BLOND:ISH have all been snapped up for residencies. Book your stay directly with the hotel and you'll receive complementary access, with Solomun closing the show on September 25. World renowned label Defected is also making its return to Pacha Ibiza, with the legendary house party back this year, taking place each Thursday until October 2025. The best bit? Destino Five Ibiza doesn't just care about you having a good time – it also cares for the environment, too. As such, the hotel runs on 100 per cent green power, conserves millions of litres of water through state-of-the-art recycling and reduction measures, and has achieved a 46 per cent reduction in its carbon footprint. It also sources fresh produce from the island through Ibiza's 0 KM program, meaning all ingredients are as local as they come. We'll see you on the dancefloor.

JLo in Abu Dhabi: Everything you need to know before the big show

Get ready, Abu Dhabi, the queen of sparkle, sass and all-out showstoppers is about to take the stage. Jennifer Lopez brings her Up All Night: Live in 2025 tour to Etihad Arena tonight, and whether you're there for the dance-floor anthems, the high-octane choreography or that viral skirt toss, you're in for a night of pure spectacle. From bedazzled bodysuits to beats that shake the arena, this is no ordinary concert – it's a full-scale JLo production, and it's going to be loud, glamorous and unforgettable. To help you plan the perfect night, we've rounded up everything from where to fuel up pre-show to the best spots to crash post-concert. Because while she may be 'Jenny from the Block,' tonight she's running the whole capital. Last week in Warsaw, she reminded the world why she's still that girl. Mid-performance, while thanking her fans, the gold glittery skirt she was wearing snapped off. One second it was there, the next it was on the floor. Creating a viral moment, she picked it up and threw it into the crowd like a party favour. One fan went home with couture, the rest went wild. This week the 'love don't cost a thing' singer is bringing that same energy to Etihad Arena for the only Middle East stop on her Up All Night: Live in 2025 world tour. But Jennifer Lopez is no stranger to the UAE. She performed in Dubai in 2012 and again in 2014. Earlier this year she headlined Saadiyat Nights in Abu Dhabi, with an open-air show that left fans screaming for more. This time, she's taking it indoors with a full-scale arena production. Doors open at 6pm, and if you're driving, plan ahead. The smart move is to make a full night of it. If you are heading home straight after the show, do yourself a favour and pack a snack, make a playlist, and accept the fact that you might be in traffic longer than JLO was on stage. But hey, if the post-show magic holds, the cars around you might get loud and hoot in harmony to Jenny from the Block . Where to eat before the show Whether you're lining your stomach for a night of dancing or just want to kick off your evening in style, these Yas hotspots are all a short stroll from Etihad Arena.
