The Oceanic Awards highlight the very best in hotels, restaurants, bars, spas, and other sectors within the industry.
New Inn Amroth received a five-star review last month (June 2025) which said: 'Dropped in for lunch last weekend, large beer garden and patio area, dog friendly. Food was exceptional, very fresh and tasty.
'I had the prawn salad which matched the one they used to serve at Wiseman's Bridge. Was delicious.'
Meanwhile, The Plash Inn currently has 125 reviews on Tripadvisor and an average rating of 4.5 stars out of 5.

Dozens of Glasgow restaurants named as finalists in awards
The awards, organised by Oceanic Awards, celebrate the best in Scottish hospitality and dining, with public nominations and industry input helping to shape the shortlist. Finalists were selected through online nominations, social media campaigns and direct recognition from the Oceanic Awards team, which considers industry expertise and standout performance. Glasgow is well represented across the board, with three Glasgow spots in the running for Café/Bistro of the Year: Rawlings Love to Eat, Edenmill Farm and the Smile Café. The city's Meat Joint Scottish Steakhouse is in the running for Scottish Restaurant of the Year, and Glaschu Restaurant and Bar is competing for Fine Dining Restaurant of the Year. Charcoals, Bantawala, Madras Cafe and Kinara are all competing for the title of Best Curry Establishment. In the Asian Restaurant of the Year category, Ka Pao, Sapporo Teppanyaki and Zhima are among the nominees. Glasgow's Italian dining scene is also in the spotlight, with Battlefield Rest making the shortlist. Mediterranean favourites Elena's Spanish Bar and Restaurant, Halloumi and Goat in the Tree are also among the nominees. The city's Best World Cuisine contenders include NOLA Soul, Rumi Restaurant, Taste of Home and Babs, while Ho Le Fook has been nominated in the Takeaway of the Year category. Meanwhile, seafood lovers will recognise the nominees for Best Seafood Establishment, including Kelp and Skip's Seafood Bar and Grill. Members of the public can continue to vote for their favourites until one week before the event. 'This year's finalists have all been distinguished as the real masters in their field due to their hard work and dedication to customer satisfaction. Welsh Hospitality Awards 2025: Haverfordwest caravan park
In the seventh edition of the awards on September 10, Pencarnan Farm Camping & Caravan Park, will have a chance to be crowned Best Caravan Park. The Oceanic Awards are held to recognise businesses who have made exceptional contributions to the hospitality sector in Wales. Pencarnan Farm Camping & Caravan Park has an average rating of 9.4 stars out of 10 on Pitch Up. A review from this month (July 2025) said: 'Everything! The whole ethos of the campsite: very welcoming, with quirky thoughtful details on site such as the sociable courtyard with coffee bar morphing into drinks bar in the evening (with rooftop seating), toiletry provisions in the showers, and lots of space in the camping fields, which run right down to the beach.' Llandovery caravan park finalist in Welsh Hospitality Awards
Erwlon Caravan & Camping Park in Llandovery is in contention to win Best Caravan Park. The Oceanic Awards ceremony will take place on September 10 and will highlight excellence in Wales vibrant hospitality industry. The caravan park has an average review rating of 4.5 stars out of 5 on Tripadvisor. A review from last month (June 2025) commended the park and said: 'Spent the weekend here with family and friends. Booked 6 pitches with 17 children of various age's and 10 adults. 'The owners were so friendly and welcoming, and the site was quiet, clean, spacious and had everything we needed, toilet block, washing up block, hire fire pits with pellets etc. 'Location is perfect, short walk to co-op & and a little longer to the lovely town where there is takeaways, shops, pubs and great meals. 'We pitched near the park and the children played all day and early evening, we had a sports day, played rounders, rugby, made smores, played bingo and generally had a fantastic weekend.'
