We're a little over a year away from seeing Tom Holland return to his signature role in "Spider-Man: Brand New Day", but that doesn't mean we can't see Spider-Man on the big screen. The original live-action "Spider-Man" cinematic trilogy, starring Tobey Maguire as the titular web-swinger, is on its way back to theaters.

Fathom Entertainment has gotten together with Sony Pictures for the fall event screenings. The re-releases include screenings of "Spider-Man 2.1", a 4k cut of 2004's "Spider-Man 2" with additional and extended scenes.

The event begins on Friday, September 26 with screenings of 2002's "Spider-Man". Screenings of "Spider-Man 2.1" follow on Saturday, September 27. Finally on Sunday, September 28 comes the re-release of "Spider-Man 3".
Encore presentations follow in October, with screenings on October 3, 4, and 5 respectively.
Fans can get tickets starting Friday, July 25.
The existence of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the DCEU, and the DCU would all be doubtful if it weren't for the original "Spider-Man" trilogy. Starring Maguire as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, all three films were directed by cult horror icon Sam Raimi.
The features were all major box office successes. Even "Spider-Man 3", which remains the most critically panned of the trilogy, made $892 million at the global box office.
Ray Nutt, chief executive officer of Fathom Entertainment said, "The success of 'Spider-Man' in 2002 helped launch the modern era of superhero films. To this day, Tobey Maguire's take on Spider-Man resonates across generations."
"At Fathom Entertainment, we celebrate fandom and I am delighted that 'Spider-Man 2.1' in 4K will make its theatrical debut, a true gift for longtime fans and a thrilling discovery for new ones."
The films boasted a cast that included Kirsten Dunst as Parker's love interest Mary Jane Watson, James Franco as his friend and future foe Harry Osborne, J.K. Simmons as over-the-top newspaper editor and curmudgeon J. Jonah Jameson, and Rosemary Harris as Parker's loving Aunt May.
The trilogy remains beloved among fans; enough so that Maguire was asked back to reprise his role in 2021's "Spider-Man: No Way Home", along with Andrew Garfield and Tom Holland.
Three villains from the original trilogy - Willem Dafoe as the Green Goblin, Alfred Molina as Doc Ock, and Thomas Haden Church as Sandman - likewise joined Maguire and the rest in "No Way Home".

A dog owner has posted hilarious footage after her home camera captured the unexpected moment their dog arrived with a present—a rabbit. Toni, who posts under the handle @toniktatman, shared the moment on TikTok in a video that has been viewed over 770,000 times, and Stella the dachshund's late-night surprise sparked serious conversation. In the clip, posted earlier this week, which quickly spread across social media, Stella hops onto the couch during her owner's TV time, proudly toting an unmistakable shape in her mouth: a rabbit. The overlay text read: "My husband realizing our dachshund Stella brought him something during his TV show last night..." Despite the unexpected arrival of the rabbit, the man remained surprisingly calm. In the caption Toni said: "The morning's convo over coffee: 'You missed the rabbit last night...' I'm dying over here." While she later praised her husband's serene demeanor, she admitted, "I would have screamed and woke up my granddaughter." In the comments, people shared their varied reactions to the bunny-shaped gift. "He handled it so calmly. I would've had the home posted on Zillow by the time I got up," said Helllabella. While viewer Gemma Silver said: "Whys he calm I would have been screaming lol." Viewer Alli Jones wrote: "It's the thought that counts." TikToker and fellow dog owner crisalexander2016 said: "Mine literally did this the other day." Dachshunds were selectively bred for badger hunting, in fact, their name even nods to this as "dachs" means badger, "hund" means dog. Their low, elongated bodies allowed them to follow prey into narrow tunnels, while their strong legs and claws helped with digging. To avoid incidents with small animals, dachshunds should be supervised around wildlife, while experts also advise keeping them stimulated and busy can help curb hunting instinct. Here's what we know about the high-profile nuptials and multi-day celebrations. Where and When Is Jeff Bezos' and Lauren Sanchez's Wedding? Amazon founder Bezos, 61, and former journalist Sanchez, 55, have planned several wedding events this weekend. The exact location of their wedding has not been disclosed, although Reuters and the Associated Press reported the couple will exchange vows on the small island of San Giorgio on Friday. The event is speculated to be ceremonial and not a legally binding wedding ceremony. The wedding reception is scheduled to take place on Saturday at the Arsenale, an ancient complex of former shipyards and armories located on the eastern side of the historic center. The location is used as an exhibition space for the Venice Biennale art fair. The couple, staying at the five-star Aman hotel, welcomed guests Thursday night in Venice, Italy, before sharing a kiss and departing by water taxi through the famous "City of Canals." Reuters estimated the wedding cost between $46 million and $56 million. Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez head to their wedding welcome party on June 26, 2025 in Venice, Italy.
