He questioned whether the BRS built projects during its term, which would match the endurance of projects like Nagarjunasagar and Srisailam.
The MLC said that people were happy under the Congress government after unseating the BRS regime, as it had betrayed the Telangana and Nalgonda people during its ten years rule. He advised Jagadish Reddy to look at the comprehensive plan of CM Revanth Reddy in Nalgonda's development, before jumping to conclusions.

GTTC education will help address unemployment issue, says Minister
Through the Government Tool Room and Training Centre (GTTC), technical education is being given a thrust by the State government as it will help a great deal in addressing the problem of unemployment, Minister for Medical Education, Skill Development, Entrepreneurship and Livelihood Sharanprakash Patil has said. He was inaugurating a new GTTC training complex at Nelogal village in Haveri district on Wednesday. The training complex has been built by the Department of Skill Development, Entrepreneurship and Livelihood in association with GTTC. Dr. Patil said that GTTC education will help provide more jobs compared to engineering studies. GTTC education has helped students in getting 75% of the jobs. The Minister said that there is more demand for skill-based education in industries and so to train students in the State, industries linkage scheme has been launched. 'This will help provide training to youths. Along with learning, skill development is being facilitated. And, for hands-on training, an MOU has been signed with a German company. This apart, impetus has been given to learning German, Italian and Japanese languages. Knowledge of foreign language will help our students in getting jobs abroad,' he said. Minister for Textiles, Sugarcane Development, Sugar and Agricultural Marketing Shivanand Patil said that a medical college and GTTCs have already started functioning in the district. The State government is focusing on providing technical education as it will facilitate development, he said. BJP MP Basavaraj Bommai said that along with an engineering college, the district now has a GTTC which will further benefit its students. He said that at the GTTC, students will get an opportunity to pursue new courses. He called upon students to make good use of the opportunity. Deputy Speaker Rudrappa Lamani said that with the establishment of the new GTTC in the district, students will not be forced to go to other districts for learning in GTTCs. A host of leaders, Deputy Commissioner Vijaymahanthesh Danammanavar and others were present.

Farmers being misled on urea shortage: BJP
The BJP has accused the Congress Government of sowing the seeds of doubt into the minds of farmers in Telangana about the purported shortage of urea for the Rabi season, even when the Centre had actually supplied three lakh metric tonnes more. Addressing the farmers' wing (Kisan Morcha) of the party, during a meeting of its office-bearers at the State BJP office here on Thursday, party president N. Ramchander Rao said that the 'urea shortage bogey' is being created by the ruling party only to reap the benefit during the forthcoming local body polls. The BJP chief charged the government with spreading falsehoods when the Centre had supplied 12.02 lakh metric tonnes of urea for the 24-25 agriculture season, when the demand was just 9.5 lakh metric tonnes. In fact, under the Modi Government, necessary steps were taken to provide ample supply of fertilizers to farmers across the country and also in dealing with black marketers with an iron hand, unlike the UPA regime 'where farmers were forced to stand in queues for obtaining it', he added. Yet, the Congress Government here wants to mislead farmers and to cover up its own failures in not ensuring proper payment of Rythu Bharosa, which has been cut from the promised ₹15,000 during the elections to ₹12,000, but now ₹6,000 is being credited into farmers' accounts, he said. Mr. Ramchander Rao also said that the farmers' welfare scheme payment was made last month only after the High Court had directed the local body polls to be held by September end. It has been 19 months since the Government has come to power but there has been no movement to provide the farm insurance which would help the famers during natural calamities under the PM Fasal Bima Yojana and following the BRS Government in this connection, he said. The former MLC also questioned the government about the Bhu Bharati module replacing the controversial Dharani of BRS regime and said it is marked with technical glitches. 'Farmers are forced to run around registration offices for justice still and there is a lack of accountability from the administration side. We should go to the local level and highlight farmers' grievances,' he advised the wing. The BJP leader said such is the sad financial condition in the State that retired employees are being denied benefits and made to run from pillar to post. General secretary G. Premender Reddy, farmers' wing national executive member G. Madhusudhan Reddy and others were present. Stalin seeks to put an end to row over DMK MP's remarks on Cong stalwart Kamaraj
Chennai, July 17 (UNI) Seeking to put an end to the ongoing row over some remarks made by DMK Rajya Sabha MP Trichy N Siva against late Congress stalwart and former Chief Minister K Kamaraj, which drew strong condemnation from Congress and other Opposition parties, DMK President and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin today appealed to all to avoid needless debates on this and instead strive to fulfill the dreams and vision of the late leader. Mr Stain also urged the people not to fall frey to those trying to gain political mileage out of the issue. In a post on X, he recalled that social reofmer Periyar hiled Kamaraj as a true Tamilian and DMK Founder and late CM C N Annadurai did not field a candidate against Kamaraj in the bypoll to Gudiyatham Assembly seat. Recalling all the arrangements made by late Chief Minister M Karunanidhi like a son for the last rites of Mr Kamaraj after he died, Mr Stain said it was Mr Karunanidhi who constructed a memorial for him and declared his birth anniversary as Education Development Day. Mr Stalin said he felt humbled when Mr Kamaraj, depsite his ill health, attended his marriage and showered his blessings. "I felt it as a honour", he added. Ponting out that Kamaraj had dedcated his life to social justice, communal harmony and secularism, Mr Stalin, without making any direct reference to the remarksmade by Siva, who is also the Deputy General Secretary of the DMK, observed that it was unfair to have any unnecesary debates about such a great leader and called for preserving his respect and dignity. Some of the congress functionaries also called for action against Siva and Lok Sabha MP Ms Jothimani said she would take up the matter with Mr Stalin. Opposition party leaders, including AIADMK, BJP, PMK, AMMK and other parties also condemned the remarks of Siva and sought to know whether the Congress was prepared to quit the DMK front for insulting Kamaraj. Talking to reporters, former BJP National Governing Council member and former State President K Annamalai said the DMK had no right to talk about the late leader, as it was responsible for defeating him in the 1967 elections.
