Meghan Markle shares 'food baby' woes in refreshingly relatable interview
Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, is a well-known culinary queen who enjoys eating for health and wellness - but there's one type of food that always leaves her with "a food baby"
Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, is trying to turn her passion for food into a billion-dollar empire, starting with a range of luxury products.
The As Ever founder released an accompanying Netflix series titled, With Love, Meghan, where she shared her hints and tips for healthy living with fans.
From her controversial pasta to her bake-at-home cookies and edible flowers, the heavily-stylised show saw Prince Harry's wife share her perfectly-curated expertise on hosting and spoiling houseguests.
But before marrying into the Royal Family, Meghan regularly uploaded relatable content on her Tig blog, telling followers about the one food she can't refuse - despite the fact it bloats her.
The former Suits star said that while eating foods containing gluten leads to worse skin and energy levels, but she can't resist the temptation of fresh pasta - despite the ramifications.
"I won't miss an opportunity to try great pasta. I come back from vacation every year with a food baby", she said.
What's more, she revealed her 'food baby' even has an unsual name. "I've named her Comida,' she said. "I get to the set and I'm like, 'hey, Comida's here, and she's kicking.'"
Meghan - who has been married to Prince Harry for nearly seven years now - has previously gone into detail about her eating habits, confessing that she's a massive fan of chips.
"French fries and vino are my vices," she told Delish, with Tignanello and Argentinian Malbecs wines amongst her favourites. Unless it's hot and she's out with friends. In which case, she's 'rose all day.'
Continuing the chip theme, the former Suits star said that when she's not filming, 'all bets are off'. Breakfast is a cheese omelette with toast, lunch is seafood and fries, and then something light like soup for dinner.
"I'm always hoping I'm having lunch with people, so we can share fries. It's its own food group for me,' Meghan says.
While living in Canada to film Suits, she mastered the art of the country's signature dish, Poutine - aka chips, cheese and gravy.
"It's got to squeak when you bite into it," she said. "Really. The cheese curds should make a squeaking noise when you bite into them or squeeze them. That's how you know you've got the right kind.'
She also makes a Nigella-esque 'filthy, sexy' mush of a pasta sauce by slow cooking courgettes for five hours, and mixing it with water and bouillon.
It's not all carbs and good times though. The actress was always much stricter during filming, making do with a hot water with lemon before getting picked up 4.15am.
For breakfast it's steel-cut oats with bananas and agave syrup, lunch is a salad and some kind of meat or fish, and apples with almond butter and sea salt serve as an afternoon snack.
The green-juice devotee hailed it as being "food-as-medicine', and glugs a serving down in the late afternoon, before scoffing pasta, zucchini, 'lots of parmesan" and a glass of wine.

Alison Hammond shuts down bizarre pregnancy claim in best way possible
Alison Hammond has shut down speculation that she's pregnant in the most hilarious way possible after false rumours spread online. The Great British Bake-Off and This Morning host, 50, has reportedly been the subject of false AI-generated stories that are claiming she's with child. Alison has one child – her son Aidan who was born in 2005 – but she appears to be determined not to have any more if her latest comments are anything to go by. Naturally, Alison has responded to the pregnancy rumours with good spirit and humour, taking to social media to deny them in the best way possible. Posting to her Instagram account, which has 1.7 million followers, she said: 'Lots of AI stories online about me being pregnant, I can confirm I am not having a baby.' She continued: '[I'm definitely not pregnant] as I'm not sure my 50-year-old womb could take it. However, I do think we should all dance like Meghan.' To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video The statement was accompanied by a video of Alison dancing around her living room after stuffing her dress with a giant pillow to mimic a pregnant belly. Referencing the already famous video of Meghan Markle dancing while heavily pregnant with daughter Princess Lillibet, Alison busted a move or two while waving her hands in the air like she just didn't care. In the video, which was taken four years ago, the heavily pregnant Duchess of Sussex is shown dancing in a hospital room to the sound of Starrkeisha song Baby Momma. Meghan posted on her Instagram to celebrate Lili's fourth birthday on Wednesday, writing: 'Four years ago today, this also happened. 'Both of our children were a week past their due dates – so when spicy food, all that walking, and acupuncture didn't work – there was only one thing left to do!' The happy video has (of course) drawn some criticism on social media after Meghan was seen to twerk at one point, with online users criticising her behaviour. For Metro, Kirsty Ketley argued back: '[The video] shows something powerful: joy. A woman, supported by her partner, using music and laughter to cope with one of the most intense moments of their life.' Commenting on Alison's video, Bryony Gordon called Alison 'our queen' while Lisa Snowden applauded, celebrated, and laughed at the clip with a group of emojis. More Trending Scottish radio presenter Jenni Falconer commented saying 'You are just brilliant' and added three big love hearts in her message to Alison. Alison's son Aidan, now 19, was born in 2005 when the Big Weekend presenter was engaged to Noureddine Boufaied – the couple split in 2014. She confessed, 'I felt that failure with [Noureddine] when we broke up, but he moved on and has three other kids now and they are part of our life,' but revealed that they have successfully co-parented over the years. We Tried The Lululemon Maxi Dress Everyone's Obsessed With – And Yes, It's Worth the Hype
What's the most fashion forward dress you can wear this summer? That viral Nobody's Child polka dot dress? A celeb-approved Dôen dress? Neither, actually, if the internet is to be believed. No, it would seem that the dress of the season is a maxi from Lululemon. You might be more familiar with Lululemon as the go-to spot for buttery soft Align leggings and athleisure sets that take you from Pilates to brunch with ease, but the activewear brand evidently has a few more tricks up its sleeve. The most recent addition that's calling our attention is the brand's 2-in-1 maxi dress. Unlike most dresses we wax lyrical about, the Lululemon 2-in-1 maxi is simple and largely devoid of intricate details and trendy patterns. Yet, it more than manages to justify its £128 price tag thanks to its genius versatile design. As the name suggests, the dress can be worn two ways: as a strapless drop-waist maxi, and as a long skirt with the bodice folded over. As well as offering an easy blank canvas that can be dressed up or down with ease, the maxi dress also benefits from the brand's activewear know-how and is crafted from its signature four-way stretch, sweat-wicking and naturally breathable fabric that feels luxe while keeping you comfortable and looks good on an array of body types. ©Instagram/@christinalasekstyling 2-in-1 Maxi Dress in Green I could go on and on about how effortlessly elegant and wearable the Lululemon maxi dress is, but that's no use to you without some styling guidance, and the multi-wear dress presents an array of styling options. On our Instagram feeds, influencers are sporting the strapless dress with a raffia bag and wedge heels or suede sandals for a relaxed sunny day. Of course, you could also lean into the athleisure of it all and wear the dress with a denim jacket and chunky trainers or dress it up with kitten heels and plenty of gold jewellery. As a skirt, it'll work wonders with a baby tee and elevated flip flops on holiday, while a boho blouse and cowboy boots will put you in a festival state of mind no matter if you're heading to Glastonbury or not. The Lululemon website proclaims that the dress is 'voted most versatile', and if I'm being honest, we're inclined to agree. As with most viral hits, the 2-in-1 maxi is also selling out fast, so if you manage to find your size in stock, we suggest you skip the hesitation. Trust us, this is a dress you'll be wearing multiple ways for years to come. 2-in-1 Maxi Dress in Black 2-in-1 Maxi Dress in Brown 2-in-1 Maxi Dress in Ivory Main image credits: ©Instagram/@meg_legs @iamcarissarenee Hitanshi Kamdar is a senior commerce writer for Grazia. Here's Where You've Seen The Cast Of Ginny And Georgia Before
Our favourite mother-daughter duo Ginny and Georgia have returned to our screens for a third season, and this time around it's as addictive as ever. As with previous seasons, we can expect plenty more mouther-daughter conflicts, flirting, sex, amazing houses and, of course, murder. 'Season 3 is our most ambitious and explosive season yet,' the show's creator Sarah Lampert old Netflix's Tudum. 'Going into it, we knew our core driving force isn't the plot twists and turns, but the emotional truth of these two women. We care about these characters, they are messy and complicated and real, and that's why we're invested in the wild season they're about to go through.' Season three picks up after Georgia was arrested over the killing of Tom Fuller, and deals with Georgia's murder trial. Everything is turned upside down in Georgia's world as the season wears on, and she begins to prepare for a life in prison. But the end of Episode nine throws all of that into question... Georgia in the present day is played by Brianne Howey. She is best known for her role as Georgia, but since the series launched in 2021 she's also starred as 'Molly Turner' in the Farrelly brothers holiday comedy Dear Santa and as Happy Madison in the Netflix film Kinda Pregnant. Speaking about her character in this season, Howey told Netflix's Tudum 'Georgia is definitely pushed to her limits this season, and she has to survive scenarios she's never had to survive before'' continuing 'Georgia now has to be a survivor with less masks because all of her secrets are out.' Troubled teenager Ginny is played by Antonia Gentry. She is also best known for her role in Ginny and Georgia, although in 2018, she played Jasmine in the romantic comedy feature film Candy Jar. She also has a starring role in the 2024 coming of age comedy Prom Dates. This season, Gentry told Tudum that 'We were able to see a new side of Ginny where she's really coming into her own, and accepting her decisions and standing by them, and making hard choices, but not being riddled with guilt or shame.' Matt Press, often referred to as just 'press' in the show, is played by Canadian born actor Damian Romeo. He started acting around the age of 9, and performed in theatre, cementing his lifelong desire to become an actor. He was described as a 'jerk' on the first two series, and it seems this time around is no different. According to Netflix, we can expect to see more 'taunting remarks' to Ginny about her mum's arrest, and mistreating Abby. PI Gabriel Cordova is a private investigator hired to surveil Georgia, who becomes Nick's boyfriend while undercover as 'Jesse.' He's played by Filipino-Canadian actor Alex Mallari Jr, who is best known for his roles in the TV series Dark Matter and the film The Adam Project alongside Ginny and Georgia. According to Netflix, this season will see Cordova shed his false identity, while his 'vendetta amps up' during Georgia's trial.
