Amanda Owen emotional as she opens up on family 'feuds'

Our Yorkshire Farm star Amanda Owen has been inundated with support from fans after making a heartfelt announcement
Channel 4's Our Farm Next Door star Amanda Owen has received overwhelming support from her fans after she posted a touching tribute on social media thanking the crew following the wrap of the show's second series.
The reality programme gives viewers an insight into the life of Amanda, her husband Clive, and their nine kids as they tackle the renovation of a centuries-old farmhouse in the picturesque Yorkshire Dales.

Amanda faced numerous hurdles during the renovation but took time to share some candid snaps from behind the scenes, expressing her appreciation for the team that worked alongside them.

In a heartfelt social media post, Amanda penned: "Whilst on the theme of people behind the scenes involved in the renovation project, it's important to acknowledge the talented folk who create the TV series Our Farm Next Door.
"Reality appears to be used very loosely in many instances, but we wanted a non-scripted, no scene set up, accurate portrayal of the realities of farming, families, friends complete with the flare ups, feuds and **** ups! *click bait provided*.
"To be given this opportunity by @channel4 and @wiseowlfilms and to find ourselves working with a dedicated, devoted and it has to be said, fearless team and crew has been brilliant.
"Nothing fazes them, be it sno w drifts, incessant rain, ten people all talking at the same time, swear words, incoherent mumblings, and constant distractions, they have taken it all in their stride and somehow managed to make sense of it all without going completely mad."
Amanda took to her post to express gratitude, commenting: "They ignored all warnings of what not to work with, children and animals and have made what I reckon to be an aesthetically pleasing, gentle series that represents us, quietly explores the rich heritage of the area and what shaped our countryside.

"All whilst championing the often overlooked craftsmen and farmers who retain the knowledge, skills and understanding that was there long before our generation rebranded it and call it our own. Sustainable, regenerative, self-sufficient, simple living, foods, comforts and a strong work ethic."
She added, as noted by the Express, "I know that there were many less pleasant aspects and terrible hardships endured, but we are fortunate that we can pick which elements of the past we take away and where we can make improvements. There's one overriding element that jumps out from the diary and that is that some aspects of life never change and it's these human, relatable diary entries that resonate with me the most."

Ending with heartfelt thanks, Amanda said, "So thank you's going out to Paul, Jayne, Mark, Rebecca, and Lindsay, and all at @wiseowlfilms @channel4 and ultimately @jocantello1 who has never waivered or wobbled when I most certainly have. Don't worry, this is not an Oscar acceptance, so I'm not to thank the farm's namesake, Anthony Clarkson."
Amanda's post was quickly inundated with comments from fans, many of whom sent messages of support. One excited viewer shared: "Absolutely loving seeing you all back on our screens," while another chimed in with their praise, stating: "Well said! It's a brilliant show, love watching you all."
One particularly captivated fan remarked: "You have a great way with words Amanda, I'm absolutely loving this series, I often feel jealous of the wonderful places you live and work in, there is so much history, and you are adding to it with the loving way you are bringing that cottage back to life."
Another follower added: "Just lovely seeing the changes taking place in Anty Johns. The history element is also fascinating."
Our Farm Next Door is available to watch on All4.

Tickets for the 2025 Awards are available now! 🤩 Taking to X, formerly Twitter, viewers were quick to react to the string of awards won by EastEnders and not Corrie.
