Queensland Origin star Lindsay Collins was the victim of a bizarre Instagram hack just hours before kick-off at Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane on Wednesday.
Footy fans didn't know what to think when the 29-year-old - who rarely posts on social media - was the new owner of a luxury Mercedes thanks to Bitcoin.
'Today marks a new milestone in my life. I purchased a new Mercedes!,' the post read.
'All the work, decisions, and time spent to make it up to this moment has all been worth it. It still doesn't feel real, but it definitely is.
'Basically, bitcoin mining is real life changing opportunity for evervone (sic) so advise not to miss out.
A big thanks to my coach Shannon Alexis who made this day perfect. 'Excited to finally be ZERO emissions.'
It comes after the Roosters enforcer recently revealed he spends $1000 every week on groceries.
Ahead of his 13th Origin cap, Collins said the strict diet is key to him staying at the top of his game.
The 106kg prop loads up on grass-fed beef, free-range chicken, organic eggs and fresh produce from his local farmer's market.
It's all part of a 6000-calorie-a-day routine designed to keep him primed for battle.
'I'm also trying to fuel my family with the right stuff,' Collins said.
His wife Kaylah caused a stir earlier this year by sharing their shopping habits online during Australia's cost-of-living crisis.
The couple, based in Bondi, have an 11-month-old daughter, Georgia.
Breakfast consists of half a kilo of grass-fed beef mince, six eggs and an avocado.

Exeter back Wyatt suffers fresh knee injury blow
Highly-rated Exeter back Tommy Wyatt will not play until 2026 after suffering a serious knee 25-year-old ruptured the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee during the final game of the season at home to had only returned from a similar injury in his other knee in November which saw him miss much of versatile back - who can play on the wing or at full-back - scored 10 tries in 19 appearances in all competitions this will undergo surgery in the near future and Exeter expect him to be out for between six and nine months."Everyone is gutted for Tommy," director of rugby Rob Baxter told the club website., external"He worked extremely hard to come back from last season's injury and was beginning to really break through again in our most recent games."From what we've been told from our medical contacts, this is an injury that Tommy was more structurally predisposed to suffering, having already injured his other ACL."The only slight positive we can take from this situation is that once he completes this latest period of rehabilitation, Tommy will be even stronger."We know he'll work extremely hard to get back fit. Henry Arundell returns to England squad
Arundell, who also qualified for Wales and Scotland, scored a memorable try with his very first touch as an England player when he came off the bench against Australia in 2022. After Eddie Jones was fired as England head coach, Arundell continued to appear under Borthwick through the 2023 Six Nations. When London Irish went into administration, there was no shortage of interest in Arundell but he chose to sign for French big spenders Racing 92. Borthwick was given special dispensation to pick him as well as Toulouse's Jack Willis for the 2023 World Cup and Arundell scored a record-equalling five tries against Chile in a pool stage match. Despite that feat, Arundell did not feature again until the bronze-medal match against Argentina, which proved to be his last act in an England shirt as pressure from Premiership Rugby forced the Rugby Football Union to close its loophole on selecting overseas players. However with Arundell set to join Bath this summer, Borthwick has been able to add the 22-year-old to his training squad with England facing a France XV at Twickenham on June 21 before their tour of Argentina and the United States. Arundell returns to a much-changed England side both in terms of personnel and philosophy. At the 2023 World Cup, England relied upon their wings to predominantly chase high balls, which did not suit his skillset. Despite a great start to life in France where he scored a hat-trick on his debut, his experience with Racing 92 has not always been a happy one and at points this season he looked shorn of the confidence he possessed three years ago. Arundell faces strong competition for places in the England back three spots with Immanuel Feyi-Waboso, Cadan Murley, Ollie Sleightholme and Tom Roebuck already included in a training squad which does not feature any players from Bath or Leicester as well as England's Lions contingent.
