‘The Office' Stars Angela Kinsey and Jenna Fischer Had a ‘Moving' Set Visit to New Spinoff Series: ‘Not Only Was Oscar There, but Our Crew' as Well
Jenna Fischer and Angela Kinsey may not be starring in the new spinoff series of 'The Office' from series showrunner Greg Daniels, but the hosts of the 'Office Ladies' podcast made a stop by the set to see the new production in action — and meet up with their former co-star Oscar Nuñez.
'Jenna and I stopped by set,' Kinsey said in an appearance on 'Today' celebrating the original series' 20th anniversary. 'Greg had invited us, and we showed up, and not only was Oscar there, but our crew, so many of these wonderful people. Because the crew was our extended family, and we're still really close with them, and that was really moving to see.'

Nuñez also appeared in the segment and teased his inclusion in the new spinoff. The actor will be reprising his role as Oscar Martinez in Peacock's followup series, which is rumored to be titled 'The Paper.' The story follows staffers at a dying Midwestern newspaper whose publisher is trying to revive it with volunteer reporters. The series comes from Daniels and is executive produced by Michael Koman ('Nathan For You'). No premiere date has been set.
'They're still editing and stuff. More will be revealed!' Nuñez told 'Today.' 'It's exciting. The experience we went through — not everyone gets to do it.'
Kinsey and Nuñez joined 'Today' alongside Leslie David Baker, Brian Baumgartner, Creed Bratton, Kate Flannery and Ellie Kemper.
Previously announced cast members for the new 'Office' follow-up series include Domhnall Gleeson, Sabrina Impacciatore, Chelsea Frei, Melvin Gregg, Gbemisola Ikumelo, Alex Edelman, Ramona Young and Tim Key. It will retain the same mockumentary style, with the show's in-universe documentary crew that filmed the Dunder Mifflin's Scranton branch in 'The Office' now filming in a new location.
Kinsey and Fischer have hosted the 'Office Ladies' podcast for more than five years, recapping all nine seasons of the NBC sitcom.

‘Wicked: For Good' Trailer Sees Glinda and Elphaba's Friendship Tested
Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo prepare for the ultimate frenemy confrontation in the new trailer for Wicked: For Good, set to hit theaters Nov. 21. The clip opens with Glinda and Elphaba meeting on a balcony. 'There's no going back,' Elphaba says. 'This is between the Wizard and I.' Elsewhere, there's a snippet of Fiyero (Jonathan Bailey), who appears to be head of the guard in charge with finding Elphaba, and another glimpse of Fiyero and Glinda about to be wed — no doubt complicating matters between him and Glinda. 'You're the only friend I ever had,' Elphaba tells Glinda, who responds Elphaba was 'the one that mattered.' Wicked: For Good will pick up immediately after the events of the last year's blockbuster smash, which concluded with Erivo's rendition of 'Defying Gravity.' The song accompanies Elphaba's decision to rebuff Madame Morrible (Michelle Yeoh) and the Wizard of Oz (Jeff Goldblum) after learning they're behind the oppression of animals in Oz, and that they want to use her magical skills for their own gain. This decision also puts Elphaba at odds with Grande's Glinda, with For Good following the two as they become the characters known in The Wizard of Oz: The Wicked Witch of the West and Glinda the Good. While 'Defying Gravity' is arguably the signature song from the original Wicked musical, For Good will feature plenty of Act Two show-stoppers, including the Elphaba and Glinda duet that gives the sequel its name. Other famous songs include Elphaba's 'No Good Deed' and Elphaba and Fiyero's duet 'As Long as You're Mine.' For Good will also feature two new songs for Glinda and Elphaba, with Grande and Erivo both working alongside the musical's original composer Stephen Schwartz. In an interview with Variety last year, Erivo called her tune 'so special to me,' adding, 'When we filmed it, the entire crew was in tears. I hope audiences are ready — it's a song that speaks to the heart of who Elphaba is.' And in an interview earlier this year, Grande said Glinda's new song coincides with a 'pivotal moment' in her journey. 'It shows a side of her we've never seen before. In the stage show, this transformation happens offstage. But in the movie, we get to see her make the decision that defines who she is. It's a privilege to sing this song and be the first Glinda to bring it to life.' Brad Pitt's summer tentpole 'F1' has been unveiled to members of the film press, and the first reactions are praising the racing thriller as 'action-packed' with strong visuals. Variety's senior artisans editor Jazz Tangcay highlighted the 'flawless' craft of the film, with its sound, score and cinematography. The sound, score and cinematography are flawless. Damson Idris and Brad Pitt are great! Absolutely Obsessedddddd — Jazz Tangcay (@jazzt) June 5, 2025 Variety's chief awards editor Clayton Davis also had high praise for the lensing, shouting out DP Claudio Miranda, who earned an Oscar nomination for his work on director Joseph Kosinski's last feature 'Top Gun: Maverick.' #F1TheMovie is the Jerry and Joe Show! Bruckheimer and Kosinski really do make audacious entertainment together. Academy…don't do Claudio Miranda dirty again on this one. Brad Pitt and Damson Idris shine brightest when sharing the screen. Race to see this one in IMAX — Clayton Davis (@ByClaytonDavis) June 5, 2025 The Nerdist and Breakroom contributor Maude Garrett called the movie 'so freaking good' and hypothesized if she would've liked it even more if she were even a fan of F1 racing in the first place. #F1TheMovie is so freaking good. It has all the adrenaline, heart, pacing, story and character that completely fleshes out this movie into excellence. I can only imagine how much MORE I would love this movie if I was a fan of F1 racing! 🏎️ 💨 Maybe I am now?@F1Movie — Maude Garrett (@maudegarrett) June 5, 2025 Pitt headlines 'F1' as Sonny Hayes, a retired Formula One driver who suffered a terrible crash in his past. He's convinced to come out of retirement and train a rookie prodigy, played by Damson Idris, for the Apex Grand Prix race. Joseph Kosinski, who directed Tom Cruise in the high-flying blockbuster 'Top Gun: Maverick,' helmed the film with producer Jerry Bruckheimer and real-life Formula One superstar Lewis Hamilton. The supporting cast includes Javier Bardem and Kerry Condon. During a virtual press conference earlier this year, Kosinski discussed the making of the film, explaining that he became a fan of Formula 1 racing after discovering Netflix's 'Drive to Survive' series during the COVID pandemic. 'I loved how the first season of the show focused on the last place teams, the underdogs, rather than the Ferrari, the Mercedes, the Red Bull, the teams that you see at the front of the pack,' he said. 'I thought that there was an interesting story to be told about an underdog team trying — not to win the championship — but just trying to win one race against these titans of the sport.' Kosinski and his actors traveled the F1 circuit over the course of a year in order to film at the real races. He explained: 'We get these 10 or 15 minute slots where we'd have to have Brad and Damson ready in the cars, warmed up with hot tires ready to go, and as soon as practice ended, they would pull out onto the track. We'd have 24, 30 cameras ready, rolling, and I'd have to shoot these scenes in these very short, intense, high-speed windows. But the crowd you're seeing was really there in the stands. I don't think the crowd realized that Brad Pitt was in the car that was in front of them.' 'F1' opens in theaters June 27 from Apple and Warner Bros. See more reactions below. Buckle up #F1TheMovie is an high octane thrill ride. It's one of those films that you go to the movies for. Brad Pitt and Damson Idris are both dynamic. This is top gun for F1 racing fans. Entertain This! Good news, Ozians! It's almost time for "Wicked" to return from intermission. The first trailer for "Wicked: For Good," the highly anticipated follow-up to the blockbuster musical "Wicked," has debuted in conjunction with a theatrical rerelease of the original film. The footage teases the second half of the Broadway show, which picks up with the people of Oz living in fear of Elphaba (Cynthia Erivo) after she defied the Wizard (Jeff Goldblum) and was branded the Wicked Witch of the West. With "Wicked," director Jon M. Chu chose to split the story of the musical into two films, ending the first part just where the show takes an intermission. The sequel was originally known as "Wicked: Part Two" before being given the official title of "Wicked: For Good," a reference to the most famous song from the second half of the show. All of the main stars from the original "Wicked" will reprise their roles, including Ariana Grande as Glinda, Jonathan Bailey as Fiyero, Marissa Bode as Nessarose and Ethan Slater as Boq. 'Wicked' review: Cynthia Erivo, Ariana Grande are fantastic as witchy BFFs But unlike the first movie, "Wicked: For Good" will feature two new, original songs that were not in the stage show. Chu told Vanity Fair one of the new songs is for Elphaba, while the other is for Glinda. Erivo previously told Variety she worked with composer Stephen Schwartz on one of the new songs, teasing, "When we filmed it, the entire crew was in tears. I hope audiences are ready — it's a song that speaks to the heart of who Elphaba is." At CinemaCon in April, Grande teased that in "Wicked: For Good," Glinda has to "look at her reflection to figure out what it means to be Glinda the Good," while Erivo said Elphaba "has to learn how to use her powers for the betterment of good in exile." Producer Marc Platt also promised "more complexity and more profundity" in the two characters. The original "Wicked" grossed more than $750 million worldwide, becoming the highest-grossing film based on a Broadway musical in history. It earned 10 Oscar nominations, including best picture, and won the Academy Awards for best costume design and production design. Are you holding space for 'Wicked'?
