In her latest interview, she revealed that the dance banger is just a teaser of what's to come on her upcoming fourth studio album.
Rita Ora, singer and actress, has been making waves since the release of her latest single Heat last month. After a quiet spell following her last album in 2023, Rita is now aiming to reconnect with fans and reclaim her place in the spotlight. In a recent interview, she revealed that the sultry dance track is just a glimpse of what's to come on her upcoming fourth studio album.
Rita Ora, who recently performed at the Wimbledon celebration, had a brief chat with People Magazine on the sidelines of the event. Speaking about her new song, Rita Ora said, 'The whole theme of this record is really about being instant [and] really direct with my messaging and stripping everything back behind me, production-wise. This energy with 'Heat' was so perfect just to get people ready for the new character."
The track was co-written by Troye Sivan, and Rita Ora believes they have a lot in common. 'I love his sexuality and the celebration he has with that. I was really inspired for me and my womanhood to really kind of celebrate my sexuality, my sexiness and get back into my body, you know? And this really just embodied that," said Rita.
Moreover, she mentioned, 'I just feel as if I have so many things to sort of remind the public with, especially my new fans. I kind of love the idea of explaining who I am again." The accompanying music video for Heat, directed by Justin Daashuur Hopkins, was shot on Miami Beach. The visuals were reportedly inspired by photographer Martin Parr's work, with technicolour tones used throughout the beach-set production.
Meanwhile, the singer enthralled everyone at The Hill in New York for the Wimbledon event. From the time she arrived on stage, Rita Ora had the audience singing along to songs ranging from 2012's 'Hot Right Now" to 2024's 'Ask and You Shall Receive" and beyond.

Sophie Choudry On Celebs, Influencers Flooding Wimbledon: ‘Don't Let It Become Next Cannes'

Earlier, Sonam Kapoor praised the 'desification' of Wimbledon. Now, Sophie Choudry offers a different take, calling out celebs and influencers for showing up just to be seen. A number of Indian celebrities such as Priyanka Chopra, Sonam Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor, Urvashi Rautela, Jacqueline Fernandez, Neena Gupta, Avneet Kaur, Anushka Sharma and others flocked to Wimbledon 2025 from India. Earlier today, Sonam Kapoor reacted to a viral post about the 'desification' of Wimbledon, saying it's great to see Indians everywhere. Now, Sophie Choudry shared a differing opinion, reacting to the surge of celebrities and influencers flooding Wimbledon. She urged people not to turn the prestigious tournament into the 'next Cannes' and said that a lot of them are there just to be seen. Sophie Choudry took to her Instagram stories and wrote, 'Oh Lord. Please don't let Wimbledon become the next Cannes. I've been an avid tennis lover for more than 30years. Have literally shed tears of joy and pain over my favourites Sampras (a legit obsession at one time), Agassi, Nadal and now Alcaraz. Have scheduled watching matches between revising for school exams. Was fortunate enough to see the legend Martina Navratilova play in her last Wimbledon final amongst other epic matches before it was all about an insta post." She further added, 'But this year am suddenly seeing countless 'influencers", 'celebs" from India going there just to be seen. Am not denying that some genuinely love the game but many are there just to pose for social media. They have zero clue or interest in the game or those playing it. It's just Ughhh. Please let's not ruin one of the most beautiful tournaments in the world." Nysa Aces Ajay Devgn's Viral 'Pehla Tu' Step With Orry; Fans Say 'She Roasted Her Own Dad'

Last Updated: Son of Sardaar 2, the sequel to Ajay's 2012 action comedy, is all set to release on July 25. Ajay Devgn's latest hook step from Son of Sardaar 2's romantic track Pehla Tu Duja Tu is already the stuff of meme legend. Known for his minimalist dance moves—think finger waves, dramatic walks, and just enough effort to qualify as choreography, Ajay's signature style has now been lovingly (and hilariously) taken forward by none other than his daughter, Nysa Devgn. In a video shared by internet's favourite plus-one, Orhan Awatramani aka Orry, Nysa is seen effortlessly nailing her dad's iconic new finger step. Dressed for a good time and with no formal dance training in sight, Nysa matches Orry's vibe and recreates the viral move to a T. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Orhan Awatramani (@orry) 'She dint even have to learn the dance!!" Orry captioned the clip, and the internet collectively lost it. One fan wrote, 'Like father like daughter," while another quipped, 'Ajay Devgan can give you two copyrights on this video." But the true gem? 'She literally roasted her own father." We're not saying she's dethroning him just yet… but Daughter of Sardaar does have a nice ring to it. The hilarious timing couldn't have been better. Son of Sardaar 2, the sequel to Ajay's 2012 action comedy, is all set to release on July 25. Directed by Vijay Kumar Arora, the film stars Mrunal Thakur opposite Devgn, with Ravi Kishan, Mukul Dev, Neeru Bajwa, Vindu Dara Singh, and Sanjay Mishra in key roles. While Sanjay Dutt was originally slated to return, visa troubles reportedly led to a recast. At the trailer launch, even Ajay had a good laugh at his own expense. Addressing the viral memes, he admitted, 'Aap log mera mazak uda rahe ho, lekin mere liye yeh bhi karna bahut mushkil hai. Woh maine kar diya, uska aap log shukar kariye." Mrunal added, 'It looks very easy, but when you do it yourself, you'll understand it's a big mental workout."
