The highest rainfall in the last 24 hours was recorded in Konch block of Gaya district at 57.8mm, followed by 53mm in Jamui and 49mm in Siwan.
Meanwhile, rainfall activity across the state has led to a decline in maximum temperature. No major change in the maximum temperature is expected in most parts of the state for the next three to four days, and minimum temperature for the next two to three days.
The maximum temperature is expected to remain in the range of 30-32 degrees Celsius for most of the southern districts and 32-34 degrees Celsius in the north on Thursday, and around 30-32 degrees Celsius across the state on Friday.
On Wednesday, Valmiki Nagar recorded the highest maximum temperature in the state at 35 degrees Celsius, whereas Agwanpur recorded the state's lowest minimum temperature at 24.5 degrees Celsius.
