Here's Who Venus Williams Is Engaged To
Venus said "yes" to actor Andrea Preti, who you may know from the 2015 indie film he wrote, directed, and starred in, One More Day. They were first linked in July 2024 after being seen in Italy together.
While the details of their engagement are unclear, the news comes five months after Venus sparked engagement rumors after she was seen wearing a ring on her left hand while out in Rome with Andrea.
She confirmed the rumors on Tuesday night in a post-game interview at the Mubadala Citi DC Open, where Venus, 45, made history as the oldest woman to win a tour-level singles match since 2004.
"My fiancé is here," she said, marking her first time ever acknowledging Andrea as her fiancé. "He really encouraged me to keep playing. There were so many times when I just wanted to coach and just kind of chill."
Laughing, Venus continued, "You know how hard it is to play tennis? You guys don't know how much work goes into this. It's nine to five except you're running the whole time, lifting weights, and just dying, and then you repeat it the next day. So he encouraged me to get through this, and it's wonderful to be here. He's never seen me play, so..."
I'm so happy for you, Venus! Congratulations to you and Andrea on your engagement!

Venus In Cancer Is Here & It's Time To Harness Your Emotions
The dreamiest part of the season is upon us! Think long walks on the sand, midnight kisses with your boo, and never ending cuddles. Venus in Cancer is bringing it all and more from July 30th to August 25th, and it's about time! We could use some summer lovin'. Not only the planet of love, Venus also allows us to understand how we align in all kinds of relationships and navigate social dynamics. Venus represents trends, fashion, music, aesthetics, artistry, emotions, taste, and sensual desires. Therefore, it plays a vital role in connecting with ourselves, others, and the world around us. Venus is the goddess of fun, so each of its transits is an opportunity to have a good time and experience life to its fullest. Now that Venus is swimming into the water sign Cancer, we can rest assured that heartfelt pleasure is around the corner. While Cancers have a rep for being homebodies with maternal and nurturing vibes, Venus in Cancer likes to join the party — just in moderation. Getting motivated to go out can be tough, but once we get our ballet sneakers on, we'll be ready to dance the night away under the glow of the summer moon. Like the flow of water and the turning of the tides,Venus in Cancer is unstoppable once it gets going. Not to say that Venus in Cancer can't get moody — we all can sometimes, depending on the energy surrounding us. In this transit, Venus uses its pinchers and makes us more aware of our boundaries and limits with others. Sharing our secrets will be hard at times — that is, until we know we can 100% trust others. Who can blame us for wanting to know who we're spilling our tea with? It's wise to be astute and selective when it comes to who we allow in our orbit. In the next few weeks, our creativity will shine. Venus in Cancer likes to forge its own path — like the crab walking sideways — to bring fresh perspectives. We'll be inspired to do things our way in our own time. Our talents and projects will take center stage, even if we shy away from the attention. Privacy is essential to Venus in Cancer because home life is sacred. Friends become family and those close relationships become a vital part of our existence. We also might be extra sensitive during this time, so keep a box of tissues nearby. Remember, it's not a bad thing to get tearful; it's cathartic to release repressed feelings. Join the Emotional Hearts Club and be a crybaby — we'll all be in the same boat, so you won't be alone. It's the perfect time to harness those feelings: get nostalgic and sentimental by scrapbooking or making a collage of memories for social media and tag your crew. While we want to be appreciated and valued the same way we do others, this astrological transit makes us more protective of our hearts. Once we crack open our hard exteriors and let people in, we will see how much support and kindness they can share. It'll take a while to build the rapport and trust, but once it's established, we'll have lifelong besties and partners. This summer's Venus in Cancer pops because the romantic planet squares Saturn and Neptune retrograde in Aries on August 1st, a day that will bring intense energy; making us feel stuck. The best way to get through it is to go with the flow. The following 24 hours of August 2nd brings new energy to fight the good fight and make moves. Venus and Jupiter form an ultra-tender connection in Cancer on August 12th, making it a great day to ask for a raise, go out with friends, and check out the dating apps (update your photos and bio on August 12th for maximum results). Love and luck are in the air; use them to your advantage. Venus in Cancer gets a push from the Nodes of Destiny to embrace a karmic connection — maybe even a soulmate!

Venus in Cancer 2025: 3 signs who are fools for love and mothers to their lovers
On Wednesday, July 30, Venus, our planet of attraction, attachment, and aesthetics, is trading the windchimes and wordplay of Gemini for the mother's milk of Cancer. Venus will turn in these tender tides until August 25. Named for the Roman goddess of love and fertility, Venus is the fine, divine feminine counterpart to warlord Mars. According to myth, Venus was born from sea foam and the severed member of Uranus, emerging fully formed from a sacred scallop shell, with pleasure as her governing principle. Perhaps owing to this shell connection, Venus loves to be in Cancer. Venus in Cancer 6 Ruled by the moon, Cancer is an unstable sign, waxing and waning between extremes, emotional and otherwise. Ava´s Art Lab – In Cancer, Venus is adept at sensing the needs of others, often to the detriment of the self. In kind and in codependence, Venus in Cancer is brimming with love to give and always and ever on the lookout for a poor unfortunate soul or sweet-talking grifter to pour it into. Codependent and moody, this Venus is adept at using passive-aggressive tactics to get what it can't or won't directly ask for. Coupled with the confusion and missed signals of Mercury retrograde in Leo, it is imperative, however challenging, to be clear about your own needs and honest about your ability/desire to meet someone else's. Ruled by the moon, Cancer is an unstable sign, waxing and waning between extremes, emotional and otherwise. In kind, during this transit we are primed to experience highs and lows, rises and falls, the sweet nectar of love and the bitter spit of disappointment. To avoid martyrdom and/or being a fool for love under these stars, take time to differentiate caretaking from anxious attachment. Are you doing things you love or doing things to be loved? Venus in Cancer 2025 6 Venus in Cancer is drunk on the nectar of nostalgia, often idealizing days gone by that are sweeter in memory than reality. Doni pacoceng – 'Venus in Cancer is the raw power of feminine energy,' said astrologer Zen Ren of ZenRenGalaxy. Owing to Cancer's association with maternal caregiving, Ren calls this transit an incubation period in which we are called to fortify our heart meat, stabilize our lives, and do the aforementioned work of discernment. Boundaries are not a betrayal, my babies, they are the container in which healthy intimacy can set sail. 'Venus in Cancer wants nearness. The crab is sensitive, yes. Sometimes irritable. Venus in Cancer is like an exposed nerve, an underbelly, more tender than tender. She is affectionate, deeply devoted, but irrational, easily triggered, always taking things personally. Find solace beneath the waves.' Speaking of tides and the ties that bind, Venus in Cancer is drunk on the nectar of nostalgia, often idealizing days gone by that are sweeter in memory than reality. 6 Perhaps owing to this shell connection, Venus loves to be in Cancer. Timothy – We can honor Venus's transit here by looking at old photos, making food that fed us as children Cancer lords over the fourth house of home and ancestry and because the retrograde parade summons us to look back to better plot a course forward, now is an excellent time to dive deep into your personal history or learn more about the childhood patterns and problems of your closest people. By going back and digging deep, you may find new things to love or at least undiscovered connective tissue. We all begin as children, and if we can hold each other in this light in a compassionate rather than condemning way, we're on our way. Meaning of Venus in Cancer Venus in Cancer is all about security and commitment in their connections. They value emotional union on deeper levels — but don't take romantic risks easily and often take a while to open up. 6 okolaa – Venus is radiating in your first house of the self, Cancer. You're looking good and feeling even better. All but dripping charm, your personal magnetism is at an 11 as legions wait to be welcomed to come close and curl tight. As Venus is as about both purse and heart strings you are equally likely to attract stable investments as you are long term partnership. You've got a lot to give and luck is on your side but know when to cut it loose. Not everyone wants to be nurtured. No means no when it comes to tieing on the apron and the anguish of being someone else's mother. 6 okolaa – With the sun and Mercury retrograde in your first house of the self and Venus shining her love light in your twelfth house of the unconscious and hidden enemies, these next few weeks hit hard, Leo. However, this transit is urging you to consider the ways you self-sabotage in the name of love. When do you perform a fantasy when you could be offering up your true self? 6 okolaa – Ahoy, Capricorn! Venus in Cancer raps on the chamber door of your seventh house of trusted partnerships and long-term alliances. You are well-versed in due diligence, sea goats, but might I suggest you invite some levity to your love affairs during this transit? Venus is love, and Cancer is the sign of origin. Perhaps it's time to revisit the love stories that informed your youth, whether cinematic or autobiographical. What can you learn or unlearn from your first brushes with the tender accordion of the human heart? Daily Horoscope for July 30, 2025
General Daily Insight for July 30, 2025 Scabs must be left alone to heal. The wounded healer Chiron enters its retrograde period in fiery Aries today, tempting us to reopen old wounds and potentially create deeper ones after a period of healing. As loving Venus enters protective Cancer at 11:57 pm EDT, we're reminded that people can't ruin what they don't know about. Only the most trusted and understanding people in our lives should be given the privilege of knowing our innermost selves. Don't risk going backward by oversharing. Aries March 21 – April 19 Your nearest and dearest have an amazing capacity to help you heal. You may have things you don't like about yourself that you're trying to change, but look around you and ask who already loves you, despite your flaws? No one is perfect! Learning how to accept yourself as you are is crucial, as you must heal before attempting to 'upgrade' yourself. There's always going to be room to grow, but for your own mental health, let others love you as you are. Taurus April 20 – May 20 Fear could be keeping you in the dark. Due to hypothetical bad reactions from others, you may be avoiding doing what's truly on your mind. This only keeps you from realizing your truth. Instead of requesting others' approval before you move forward, let them react however they choose to react after you've already taken action. Waiting for everyone to be onboard with your dreams may end up ensuring that they never come to fruition, so make your dreams happen for yourself. Gemini May 21 – June 20 Someone else could trigger memories of the past. They may not notice your sensitivity to the subject when they bring it up, while you might feel as though you're being emotionally transported into the past as they speak. It's important that you remain grounded and let them know when you're not comfortable discussing something. If they push the matter further, it's okay to move on — with or without them. The right person should understand and let it go without much effort. Cancer June 21 – July 22 Your past reputation may rear its head at any moment. You might have moved on from the past, whatever that means for you and your actions. Perhaps negative behavior meant that apologies were given and accepted on all sides. Regardless, someone may mention old issues, either out of ignorance, curiosity, or potentially malice. You're not that person anymore, even though you might have been once. You're allowed to acknowledge the past without having to embody it. Be who you are now. Leo July 23 – August 22 The grass is always greener on the road less traveled. When you don't seize an opportunity, it may linger in your mind for some time. Today, in particular, you're potentially pondering all the ideas whose time has already come and gone. Instead of picturing them as windows that will never open again, look into what you can do to bring similar energies into your current life. Wonderful chances are everywhere, even if they're not exactly the same. Don't miss them by focusing on the past. Virgo August 23 – September 22 Trusting the wrong person can leave emotional scars. You may be regretting letting the wrong person in, spiraling about the naivety in your history. The truth is, it's not on you for being trusting, it's on them for taking advantage of your faith. Continuing to have a kind heart and an open mind in the face of old wounds is the bravest thing you can do at this time. Remember, it's about who you want to be, not how other people react to you. Libra September 23 – October 22 Stepping into the spotlight on your own can be daunting. You may have thought that you were going to be taking this journey with someone else, but at some point, you'll probably have to step into your own power. Your companion might not be out of your life for good, but you could have to stand tall in their absence — something that you're completely capable of. Be strong now, so you can look back on this and remind yourself of what you're capable of. Scorpio October 23 – November 21 Not everyone is going to treat you like that one person in your past. You may be looking for flaws in the people in your life, especially newcomers, in order to prevent another heartbreak. This doesn't have to have been a romantic relationship — friendships and professional connections can also cause grief. Trusting another person after being burned can be terrifying, but you'll never forge your true connections without continuing to try with an open heart. The right person will be worth the wait. Sagittarius November 22 – December 21 Taking risks isn't usually something your sign is known for, Sag, but even you might be nervous around unfamiliar ideas at the moment. You might be so afraid of repeating past mistakes that you're refusing to step outside of the lines again. Instead of forcing yourself to live the same day over and over again, branch out and see what's beyond your comfort zone. Life is there to be lived! Good and bad things will impact your days either way. Take a chance. Capricorn December 22 – January 19 You might be healing childhood wounds. When you carry baggage for years, it may seem impossible to set down — that's just not true. You deserve a chance to move unburdened. This could mean that you're telling your story to someone else who can relate to you or support your healing journey. You don't have to traverse this path alone, even if you've tried to in the past. The more that you focus on healing your inner child and regaining your spark, the better. Aquarius January 20 – February 18 Don't be your own worst enemy. Be wary of focusing on features that you hate about yourself, when, in reality, they may not even exist. Carrying a distorted view of yourself may lead others to share this view or even feel as though you are judging them, especially if they share the 'flaws' that you continually describe seeing in yourself. Speak with positive intentions and pay attention to how it affects you and others. It just might be the glow-up you crave! Pisces February 19 – March 20 Security doesn't always equal happiness. You might have made the safe choice recently, but it may not turn out to be exactly what you wanted. Take some time to ponder the difference between feeling protected and feeling trapped, because it can be a difficult balance at times. Don't heed the temptation to throw it all away because you're starting to feel claustrophobic! Look into how you can inject some fun and freedom into your life without going overboard. You can stay safe without stagnating.
