The players, who also included Curtis Jones, Federico Chiesa, Wataru Endo and Caoimhin Kelleher, arrived at the Portuguese chapel to applause from crowds standing nearby.
The funeral is set to begin at 10am on Saturday, according to parish priest at the Igreja Matriz de Gondomar in Sao Cosme, Jose Manuel Macedo.
It comes after family and friends gathered for the brothers' wake on Friday, with a queue forming outside the Portuguese chapel.
Manchester City and Portugal player Ruben Dias also attended (PA)
The brothers' parents attended the Sao Cosme Chapel, the Capela da Ressurreicao, in the town of Gondomar near Porto on Friday, with Portuguese President Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, Prime Minister Luis Montenegro and Jota's agent also among attendees.
People held service sheets featuring pictures of both brothers, the largest one showing Jota smiling in his Liverpool FC shirt and making a heart sign with his hands.
Liverpool Football Club postponed the return of players for pre-season following Jota's death, as a number of players past and present paid tribute.

A sea of floral tributes had been left outside Anfield, with many Liverpool fans and supporters of other clubs looking to pay their respects.
Flags have been lowered to half-mast at the stadium and all club stores, museums and tours have been closed until Monday, with staff offered wellbeing support.
Jota and Silva were both found dead after the car crashed on the A-52 in Palacios de Sanabria near the city of Zamora at 12.40am on Thursday.
Police said they were investigating the possibility that the Lamborghini left the road because of a tyre blowout while overtaking, and a source from the government sub-delegation in Zamora confirmed 'a possible speeding incident' was being looked at.
Pictures of the aftermath of the crash showed debris scattered along the side of the road including what appeared to be charred parts of the vehicle.
No other vehicles are said to have been involved in the incident.

Jude Bellingham, Diego Maradona... and Bobby Moore: Seven times a club's shirt number has been RETIRED as Liverpool fans call for tribute to Diogo Jota's No 20
Liverpool fans are calling for the club to retire Diogo Jota 's No20 jersey as a mark of respect after his tragic death. The football world is in a state of mourning after the Reds and Portugal striker, 28, along with his brother Andre Silva, 25, died in a car crash in Spain in the early hours of Thursday morning. The Spanish authorities said the siblings were found dead after their car went off a road near the city of Zamora. Police suspect the crash was caused by a tyre blowout. Liverpool said the club had been left 'devastated' by the news, calling it an 'unimaginable loss'. Mail Sport has taken a look at previous instances where clubs across world football have retired the shirt number of a player. 1. Jude Bellingham (Birmingham City - No22) Birmingham City decided to retire the No22 shirt of outgoing teenager Jude Bellingham in July 2020. Bellingham's final appearance for his boyhood club, a 3-1 defeat to Derby, came just days after he finalised a move to Borussia Dortmund in a deal which saw him become the most expensive 17-year-old in football history. The Englishman has since gone on to become a mega star with Real Madrid, and was voted La Liga's Player of the Season in his first year in Spain. 2. Diego Maradona (Napoli - No10) One of the world's best players, Diego Maradona certainly made his mark. His Hand of God goal against England in the 1986 World Cup quarter-finals was an infamous moment, but the Argentine was widely lauded. He delivered two Serie A titles for Napoli during a glittering seven-year career in Naples, before the Italian side officially retired his No10 jersey in 2000. Argentina also tried to retire his No10 international shirt in time for the 2002 World Cup, but had their request rejected by FIFA. On 4 December 2020, nine days after Maradona's death, Napoli's home stadium was renamed Stadio Diego Armando Maradona. 3. Bobby Moore (West Ham - No 6) West Ham and England legend Bobby Moore is often regarded as the best defender to come from England. So fittingly, in 2008, on the 50th anniversary of his debut for the club, the Hammers decided to retire Moore's No6 shirt. Moore captained West Ham and also England, where he lifted the country's only World Cup to date. He has since been honoured further by the Hammers with a statue outside the London Stadium. 4. Marc-Vivien Foe (Manchester City - No 23) In 2003, Cameroon legend Marc-Vivien Foe was playing for his country against Colombia in the Confederations Cup when he collapsed in the centre circle. Despite the desperate attempts of medics to revive him, he died of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy at hospital. Manchester City, where he had been on loan at, duly retired his No23 jersey. 5. Emiliano Sala (Nantes - No9) The shocking death of Emiliano Sala resulted in an inquest. The 28-year-old's body had been found in the wreckage of the plane that crashed into the English Channel as he flew to Cardiff City following his £15million transfer in 2019. The football world grieved, while his former club Nantes retired his No9 jersey, after 133 games for the Ligue 1 club brought 48 goals. 6. George Baldock (Panathinaikos - No32) The England-born Greece international George Baldock was found dead in the swimming pool of his house in Glyfada, southern Athens in October last year. Initial coroner's findings suggested Baldock drowned and police ruled out any criminal activity. Baldock had joined Greek side Panathinaikos in the summer after seven years at the Blades. The Greek club retired his No32 shirt. 7. Peter Whittingham (Cardiff - No7) Cardiff retired the No 7 shirt in honour of their late midfielder Peter Whittingham. Whittingham died in March 2020 at the age of 35 after suffering a traumatic head injury in Barry. The former England Under-21 international spent 10 years at Cardiff after signing from Aston Villa, scoring 98 goals in 459 appearances. 8. Ray Jones (QPR - No31) The 18-year-old Queens Park Rangers striker Ray Jones died in August 2007 after he drove head-on into a bus in London. His two passengers in the car also passed away. As a mark of respect, QPR postponed their upcoming game with Burnley, who replaced the match with an open training session with proceeds going to the charity of QPR's choice. QPR also decided to retire the No31 shirt in memory of Jones.

Ashworth's four-man Man Utd shortlist that saw three signed with mixed results
Dan Ashworth was appointed Manchester United's sporting director last summer and had drawn up a list of four key players he wanted to sign for then-manager Erik ten Hag Dan Ashworth's tenure as Manchester United 's sporting director was a short-lived one, ending in disaster within just a few months. Ashworth was a prime target for Sir Jim Ratcliffe, who had to patiently wait over four months for him to officially commence his role due to being placed on gardening leave by his previous club, Newcastle United. It was on the 1st of July last year that Ashworth formally joined the Red Devils and immediately embarked on an ambitious recruitment campaign for then-manager Erik ten Hag, following United's FA Cup final victory over Manchester City. As per the Daily Mail, Ashworth had his sights set on four specific players, managing to secure three of them last summer – with the exception of Everton's Jarrad Branthwaite. A £35million offer for him was turned down by the Toffees a year ago, leading them to explore other alternatives, reports the Manchester Evening News. One of those other players was well-acquainted with Ten Hag, who was eager to reunite with. United shelled out £42m to bring former Ajax ace Matthijs De Ligt in from Bayern Munich. In a bid to provide Rasmus Hojlund with some assistance at the opposite end of the pitch, Ashworth activated Joshua Zirkzee's £34m buyout clause from Bologna after the Dutchman had aided the club in securing Champions League football for the first time in nearly six decades. Eager to bolster their defensive midfield – with Casemiro failing to replicate his Real Madrid form at the time – United sanctioned a move for Manuel Ugarte, who Paris Saint-Germain were willing to offload after just one season. A £40m offer was enough to secure the former Sporting CP star's services, eventually reuniting him with Ruben Amorim following the Portuguese boss' appointment as Ten Hag's successor last November. However, Ashworth departed United in December, before he could witness the outcome of his efforts. Over four months of the season had already elapsed upon Ashworth's exit and the performances of those three players left much to be desired. Despite De Ligt earning a formidable reputation in Europe since his teen years, he initially struggled to find his footing in Manchester's defence. While United endured a lacklustre season under Amorim, the Dutchman gradually found his rhythm in defence, sparking hopes among United fans that he will remain a key figure in their backline for years to come. The same optimism doesn't extend to Zirkzee, whose underwhelming presence has led United to continue their search for a striker to address their goalscoring issues – a role the former Bayern Munich forward was expected to fulfil. The 24-year-old has only managed to net seven goals in 49 matches across all competitions, with a mere three coming from Premier League games. His future at the club could be up in the air if Amorim succeeds in attracting ex-Sporting striker Viktor Gyokeres, despite Arsenal showing strong interest. Aston Villa's Ollie Watkins is also on United's current watchlist. As for Ugarte, the 24-year-old excels in tackling and regaining possession, typical traits of a defensive midfielder. However, he faced criticism last season due to his lack of forward play, with supporters arguing that his passing skills and athleticism are severely lacking. Amorim faces a colossal task ahead of the 2025/26 season, and it's yet to be seen what role these three players will have in United's future. And it seems unlikely that Ashworth's full quartet will be completed anytime soon. Branthwaite has recently signed a new contract with Everton under ex-United manager David Moyes. The England international, now reportedly valued at around £70m, inked a new five-year deal earlier this week.

Alexander-Arnold sends emotional Jota message as Real Madrid beat Dortmund
Trent Alexander-Arnold felt Diogo Jota was 'there with him' as he played in Real Madrid's 3-2 win over Borussia Dortmund at the Club World Cup. The England international played alongside Jota for five years at Liverpool, before leaving for the Spanish giants earlier this summer. Jota and his brother Andre Silva tragically passed away in a car accident this week, in news that rocked the entire football world. The 28-year-old married his long-term partner just a few days earlier and leaves behind three young children in what are incredibly heart-breaking circumstances. Alexander-Arnold was still feeling the pain of losing his friend as Real Madrid faced Dortmund in New Jersey, but felt his former teammate was there with him as he provided an assist on the way to a 3-2 win in the quarter-finals of the Club World Cup. 'I had to try to perform for the team and help them win the game, no matter how difficult it was,' Alexander-Arnold told DAZN. 'As hard as it was to do it, I had to push myself to focus on what my job and role was. I tried to do it as best as I could, but it was difficult and I am not going to lie about that. '[Jota] was one of my close friends – and I am sure that's what he would have wanted me to do. I'm sure we would have had a laugh and joke about the assist as well. He was there with me, I am sure.' He added: 'I shared the dressing room with him for five years – amazing memories on and off the pitch. 'It goes without saying he will never be forgotten by anyone. He will live long in all our memories for the amazing man and the player he was. 'I've been around him, his brother, his family, his amazing wife, his amazing parents and his amazing children. It's truly, truly heart-breaking to wake up to news like that. 'It's something you never expect.' The tributes to Jota were not limited to his former teammates, with Kylian Mbappe coming off the bench to score Real Madrid's third goal and paying homage to the Liverpool star. The Frenchman held up his hands in the shape of '20' to signal Jota's shirt number with the Reds. Alexander-Arnold had already spoken movingly about his departed friend, posting a tribute on social media on the day of his death. 'It's so difficult to find the right words when your head and heart are struggling to accept that someone you care so much about has gone,' the 26-year-old wrote on social media. 'Diogo, your family was your world. They were everything. For Rute, his children, and his parents, all of our hearts are broken. And for Andre as well. Brothers and best friends. More Trending 'When it's less painful, I want to remember Diogo with a big smile. So many laughs and happy moments. He was such a great teammate and a true friend. 'Forever number 20. Rest in peace, Diogo.' On the field Real Madrid are into the semi-finals where they will take on European champions PSG on Wednesday. In the other half of the draw Chelsea face Brazilian side Fluminense on Tuesday.
