Multi-agency missing person search called after personal items found
Personal items found on a local breakwater have sparked a land and sea search for a possible missing person.
The items were found on Goodwick Breakwater and triggered a missing person incident.
Fishguard RNLI's charity's D class inshore lifeboat, Edward Arthur Richardson launched shortly after 11am yesterday, Monday, March 25, at the request of HM Coastguard.

With nothing found the lifeboat was stood down while other agencies continued enquiries.
After conducting a thorough search of the area, nothing was found, and all teams were stood down.

'If you ever see anything that doesn't look right when you're out and about, always phone it in to 101, or if it's a coastal emergency call 999 and ask for the coastguard,' said a spokesperson.

Search for missing vulnerable boy wearing only swim shorts
An extensive search is under way for a 16-year-old boy who was last seen at a seaside resort wearing only his swimming shorts. Police were alerted at about 14:00 BST on Saturday after Athrun was reported missing from West Shore Beach in Llandudno, Conwy county - close to the boating lake and playpark. Officers described him as a "vulnerable person" who may walk with an unusual gait. He has short, dark hair, is about 6ft (183cm) tall and of slim build and is believed to be wearing only blue and white patterned swim shorts and no footwear. Specialist officers from North Wales Police have been carrying out land, water and airborne searches in the area. They are being helped by the National Police Air Service, the Search and Rescue Dogs Association, and the HM Coastguard which confirmed it had deployed multiple lifeboats and a helicopter. Police said the investigation was being treated as a "high-risk missing person inquiry" and urged members of the public to "remain vigilant, but not to place themselves at risk" while searching for Athrun. Det Ch Insp Simon Kneale asked anyone with photographs taken in the West Shore Beach area on Saturday to contact the force.
