'In addition to significantly increasing our lawyer office count from 40 to 60, there are more collaborative working spaces in the new office, from formal conference rooms to informal gathering areas and a modern work café, all designed to enhance the day-to-day experience for our lawyers and staff,' said Candice Choh, partner-in-charge of the Century City office. We have increased our square footage by 50%, and the firm remains committed to the Century City market,' she said.
The LEED Platinum-certified building has amenities that include a client conference center and work café. It also has a fitness center, restaurants, a golf simulator and a four-acre central park. The new office features high ceilings and abundant natural light from floor-to-ceiling glass windows.

Can you raise your credit score by 100 points overnight?

Building a solid financial foundation takes time, and credit scores are no exception. If you're struggling with poor credit and want to make a big improvement fast, you'll need to have some patience. As a credit expert and a former NFCC-certified credit counselor, I'm sorry to tell you that you can't raise your credit scores by 100 points overnight. In fact, it usually takes years to build good credit and decades to achieve a perfect credit score. That said, it's possible to see substantial gains in your scores within a relatively short amount of time. Here's how to add 100 points to your credit score — and how long it really takes. Why raising your credit scores overnight is unrealistic Unfortunately, it's not possible to make major improvements to your credit scores overnight. First, your credit scores are based on the information in your credit reports — and that information is only updated every 30 to 45 days. So, at minimum, you can expect to see your credit scores change every month or so. Second, credit scores are calculated based on your history with debt. That includes your monthly payments on credit cards and loans over the last seven to 10 years. So if you've accrued years of bad credit history, you usually need time to undo the damage by adding new, positive information to your credit reports over time. High‑impact strategies to improve your scores Now that we've established how difficult it is to improve your credit scores quickly, let's talk about some exceptions to the rule. There are, in fact, a limited number of methods for gaining points fast. Not only have I recommended some of these approaches to thousands of clients, but I've even used some of them myself. Here's what you can do. Rapid rescoring Are you in the process of working with a lender to qualify for a mortgage? If so, you might try requesting a rapid rescore from the lender. Rapid rescoring allows lenders to update your credit report after you've made a change — such as paying down a credit card balance or correcting an error — so your credit score reflects the update within just a few days instead of the typical 30-45 day cycle. The rapid rescoring process usually takes two to three days to complete. Based on the new scores, the lender might approve you for a loan you were previously denied, or offer you lower rates on a loan. But to ensure the best outcome, be sure to ask your lender for specific ways you can improve your credit scores before you make any changes to your credit profile. Become an authorized user If there were such a thing as a "cheat code" for improving your credit scores fast, it would be becoming an authorized user. When you become an authorized user on a loved one's credit card, the information about their card — including all of their past payment history — will appear on your credit reports and be factored into your credit scores. As an authorized user, you are not responsible for repaying the balance, and you don't even need to use the card to reap the benefits. For the biggest, most positive impact to your scores, the key is to have your name added to a card that's been open for a long time, with no missed payments and a low balance. Once your name is added to the account, you can expect your credit scores to change in roughly 30 to 45 days. Reduce your credit utilization ratio Another great way to improve your credit scores quickly is to reduce your credit utilization ratio, or the percentage of available credit you're actually using. You can reduce your credit utilization ratio in a couple of ways: Request a limit increase: Log into your credit card account and follow the card issuer's instructions to request a limit increase. If you're approved, do not increase your credit card balance. Reduce your balance: Even if you're not approved for a limit increase, you can still decrease your credit utilization ratio by paying down your credit card balance as low as possible. If you make either of these changes, you can expect to see an adjustment to your credit scores in 30 days, minimum. Dispute errors If there are errors on your credit reports, getting them fixed could mean gaining a lot of points. For example, if your credit reports incorrectly show that you missed several loan payments, and you get that information fixed, you could potentially gain 100 points or more. Getting errors removed from your credit reports isn't necessarily a quick fix, since you first have to pull your credit reports (I recommend pulling them from and then file a dispute asking to have the errors removed. Once you file, it can take 30 to 45 days to get a response. Then, if the dispute is resolved in your favor, it can take another 30 to 45 days (so, roughly 60 to 90 days altogether) to see a change in your scores. Add rent or utilities to your credit reports Your credit scores are based solely on your history with debt. But you may be able to have non-debt information added to your credit score calculations when you use a product like Experian Boost. Experian Boost is a free service that scans your credit card transactions for utility bill payments — and in some cases, rent payments — and then adds them to your Experian credit reports. Just know that this isn't guaranteed to improve your credit scores, since you have different credit scores based on each of your credit reports. So, even if your Experian credit score improves, other versions of your credit score will not. Plus, according to Experian, while customers gain points immediately, they only gain an average of 13 points. Additionally, Experian acknowledges that some lenders will not use scores impacted by Experian Boost. Als Nächstes Als Nächstes Frequently asked questions How quickly can I raise my credit scores by 100 points? The amount of time it takes to improve your credit scores by 100 points depends on the specific steps you take. If you have errors removed from your credit reports, for example, you may see a significant increase in 60 to 90 days. Or if you pay down a large portion of your credit card balance, you could see an improvement in as few as 30 days. However, there's no guarantee you'll gain 100 points. What brings your credit scores up the fastest? The fastest way to increase your credit scores depends on your situation. For many people, it's by becoming an authorized user on another person's credit card. If the primary cardholder has a long history of on-time payments with their card and their balance is low, becoming an authorized user on the account can potentially make a big difference in your scores. How can I get a 700 credit score in 30 days? If your credit scores are in the high 600s, you can potentially reach 700 points within 30 days by requesting increases in your credit card limits and paying down your credit card balances. However, it's worth noting that the higher your credit scores are, the harder it is to gain points.

Turner selected to build 46-storey office tower in Manhattan

Turner Construction Company has been chosen to construct a 46-storey commercial office tower at 343 Madison Avenue in Midtown Manhattan, US. BXP is developing the project with design provided by Kohn Pedersen Fox (KPF). The project's plan includes an underground transit entrance connected to Grand Central Terminal, adding to connectivity in one of New York City's busiest transport hubs. Its design is intended to reduce impact on light and air in densely developed area. This 930,000ft² structure will include strategic setbacks for visual engagement and green spaces, which in turn is expected to reinforce connection to the surrounding urban environment. Turner Construction Company construction executive Luigi Morfea said: 'We are honoured to contribute to a project that not only enhances the iconic New York City skyline but also improves access to public transit.' 'Our top priority is ensuring the safety of the public and our workforce throughout the construction process. We look forward to collaborating with BXP, KPF, and our trade partners to bring this vision to life.' The project is targeting LEED Platinum certification from the US Green Building Council, which is a widely used green building rating system. In addition to its role at 343 Madison Avenue, Turner Construction is also leading the TAC joint venture for the transformation of the Memphis International Airport (MEM) in the US.
