Pokémon Legends Z-A complete pre-order guide
With Pokémon Legends: Z-A touted to be the next big release in the franchise, fans have every reason to lock in their pre-orders early. Scheduled for release on October 16, 2025, the game takes the players into the sci-fi dimension of the once familiar Kalos Lumiose City completely at odds with the ancient Hisui in Legends: Arceus.
Here is everything you need to know about pre-orders, game versions, bonuses, and perhaps the biggest Pokémon release of these years.
Dual-Platform Release: Switch and
Switch 2
First, any mainline Pokémon title will be released on both the Nintendo Switch and its next-generation cousin, Switch 2. This will guarantee access for 150+ million users on Switch while also exposing the new-ish-gen Nintendo console to glory.
Switch version price: $59.99
Switch 2 version price: $69.99
Upgrade option: Players starting from Switch can opt to upgrade to the Switch 2 version after launch.
It provides this flexibility for the end-user, noting that this new release works in a way similar to other cross-gen launches.
Pokémon Legends: Z-A – Available for Pre-order
Pre-order Bonus: Sitting Cuties Plush
If you want another reason besides sheer excitement to pre-order, don't forget that The Pokémon Center is offering a Sitting Cuties Plush for free. These hand-sized plushies are absolutely adorable collectibles that retail for approximately $17 and display one of the game's three Pokemon starters: Chikorita, Tepig, or Totodile.
Note: Players will not be able to choose which one they get.
Meet Your New Starters in Lumiose City
The other thing about this team is that the choice begins with:
Chikorita (Grass-type—Gen II)
Tepig (Fire-type—Gen V)
Totodile (Water-type—Gen II)
This unusual regional mix hints at some sort of crossover themes or extended Pokédex entries.

Son of Sardaar 2, Dhadak 2 Movie Review LIVE Updates: Ajay Devgn or Siddhant Chaturvedi's film, which will survive the Saiyaara box office threat?
Son of Sardaar 2, Dhadak 2 Movie Review, Rating and Release Live Updates: It's Friday and two films have hit the big screens. First is Ajay Devgn's return as Jassi in the film Son of Sardaar 2, which is a sequel to his 2012 hit. The second film is Triptii Dimri and Siddhant Chaturvedi's Dhadak 2. These films will have a head-to-head fight for the box office collection where Aneet Padda-Ahaan Pandey's Saiyaara is still going strong. Dhadak 2,a romantic drama, is a written and directed by Shazia Iqbal and produced by Dharma Productions, Zee Studios and Cloud 9 Pictures. The film is a spiritual sequel to Dhadak (2018) which star Ishaan Khatter and marks Janhvi Kapoor's debut film. The film was a remake of the Tamil film Pariyerum Perumal (2018). Originally slated for release on July 25, Son of Sardaar 2 was pushed to August 1. Looks like these two films will face a big challenge at the box office with Saiyaara's continuing its strong run, and also Mahavatar Narsimha's growing numbers. South actor Vijay Deverakonda's Kingdom, which was recently released in theatres too has earned well on its first day. And looks like this latest release too can be a threat the films. Dhadak 2's production house, Karan Johar's Dharma Productions, is going the Kesari 2 way with this film. It's releasing only in 1000 screens across India, focusing on the urban centres, with more screens expected to add in case the word of mouth is in their favour. In order to attract footfalls, both the new releases — Son of Sardaar 2 and Dhadak 2 — are offering 50% discounts on ticket prices using certain coupon codes.
