Amidst a heated basketball season, it is also interesting to see how NBA trade is happening, with players either getting traded to different teams or securing a solid spot for themselves.
Recently, Orlando Magic made a solid deal with Memphis Grizzlies' Desmond Bane. With this, media reports suggest Magic could be looking for a solid player for their team. Names like Kevin Durant and Bradley Beal are also being discussed now. With the Minnesota Timberwolves also showing interest in Durant, American sportswriter Bill Simmons feels Timberwolves should rather focus on securing a point guard and not Durant.
Bill Simmons' suggestion to Minnesota Timberwolves is to fix problems first
As talks are on about Kevin Durant being traded soon, media reports suggest, it could possibly be with the Minnesota Timberwolves. On The Bill Simmons, Bill Simmons in his latest episode on podcast, spoke of the trade. He said,
"Houston is the only team that I feel like he could elevate, I even have real questions about him with (Anthony) Edwards. That feels like dueling banjos to me. Just feels like another (Devin) Booker situation where there's a lot of Durant standing in the corner, like 'I guess I'm not in this one' and he has that weird body language thing he gets going sometimes."
He added, "I don't think he needed help, I think he needed a f***ing point guard, That's what they need. If I'm gonna make trades, I'm not trading for Kevin Durant, I wanna get somebody who can actually handle the ball and take pressure off Edwards and get fast breaks. In that OKC series, (Mike) Conley looked like he was 50 years old. That was why they lost. They couldn't bring the ball up. It wasn't because they didn't have enough scoring, that's not how I watched the series.
'
Will Bradley Beal become a key player for the Phoenix Suns?
With Desmond Bane making a solid trade to Orlando Magic from Memphis Grizzlies, all eyes are now on where other NBA stars might be traded. As per Jake Fischer of The People's Insider, the Phoenix Suns are believed to have faith in Bradley Beal who could possibly play much better. In case Kevin Durant is traded, Beal would likely have more space to score better points and experiment with his skill set.
Now, for the Suns, the strategy is to make Beal a key player.
Fischer wrote, 'There is likewise some hope within the Suns that moving Durant could possibly present Beal with more offensive opportunity to produce in a manner you'd expect from a player with that sort of contract. As The Stein Line has previously reported, various candidates considered during the Suns' recent coaching search were asked how they would try to get the best out of Beal if he remained a Sun.

The Phoenix Suns Will Trade Kevin Durant Soon But They Don't Care Where He Wants To Go
Meanwhile, NBA star Kevin Durant has also figured out a few teams that could possibly be his next spot. It can either be San Antonio Sports, Houston Rockets, and Miami Heat. All eyes are now on where Kevin Durant could possibly go, but that too depends on how Suns will be able to secure a perfect replacement for Durant. To be able to recover a solid player with a solid skillset, it is an important task for Suns.

Jason Kidd to the New York Knicks? The latest on the Dallas Mavericks' HC's potential move
The New York Knicks are searching for a new head coach after firing Tom Thibodeau, and Jason Kidd is one of the candidates. Kidd is currently the head coach of the Dallas Mavericks, who became the first team since the 2019-20 Golden State Warriors to miss the playoffs after playing the NBA Finals last season. He has a proven track record and might be a good fit for the Knicks, who need a final push to win the NBA championship after losing the Eastern Conference Finals this time. Here is the latest on Jason Kidd and the New York Knicks saga: Jason Kidd's move to the New York Knicks is not a done deal, but according to reports, it's not totally off the table either. According to a report by NBA Insider Ian Begley, the door on the Knicks and Jason Kidd is not completely closed. Several other reports have suggested the same thing as recently as last week, and that remains the case as of Monday. The Knicks have an interview list ready. Former Memphis Grizzlies head coach Taylor Jenkins will get the first interview. Mike Brown, most recently the head coach of the Sacramento Kings, is expected to interview after Jenkins. While the Knicks may be looking at Jason Kidd, along with several others, one person they aren't after is the Chicago Bulls head coach, Billy Donovan. He is not a candidate for the Knicks' job and is expected to sign an extension with Chicago.

"Zero chance" - LeBron James squashes fans' hopes of ever becoming a coach in the NBA
LeBron James (Image via Getty Images) LeBron James is inching closer to the end of his career as a professional basketball player. At 40 years old, it won't be long before he bids adieu to the basketball court and becomes a spectator. While the game will always be a part of him, one thing he is not gunning for in the future is that of being a coach. While many fans have asked the Lakers star over and over, he seems pretty determined about the fact that he won't be going into the coaching business. LeBron James has no plans of becoming a coach LeBron James has completed 22 seasons as a professional basketball player in the NBA and won four NBA championships so far in his illustrated career. His fans love him dearly and are quick to go to war whenever someone comes after him. He is considered one of the greatest basketball players of all time, a status similar to another NBA legend, Michael Jordan . And Bron seems to be going in the same direction as MJ when it comes to his post-player life. Recently, on his Mind the Game podcast, co-host Steve Nash asked him a question from a fan who wanted to know which team Bron would prefer to coach if he ever went that route. Both Nash and James, though, were quick to refute any coaching future for the NBA great, who says he has no plans for it. "There's no way. There's no way guys... It ain't happening. No team. Zero chance." He, along with Nash, was seen laughing at the prospect of ever becoming a coach, vehemently opposing even the idea of it. So, sorry to all the fans who were hoping to see LeBron James courtside leading a team to a championship as a coach, but it seems like he has no appetite for it. While he can be seen running alongside his sons' high school teams when they are playing, he has previously stated very plainly, that it's more of him being an excited dad rather than trying to coach the team when they already have capable people doing the job.
