War 2 (Hindi) Day 2 Box Office: Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR starrer shows reasonable 60 percent growth on Independence holiday; Adds Rs 45 crore
War 2, directed by Ayan Mukerji, and starring Hrithik Roshan, Jr NTR and Kiara Advani among others, grew by a reasonable 60 percent on day 2 in Hindi, to add Rs 45 crore net. The two day cume of the movie in Hindi stands at Rs 73 crore, keeping it on track for a Rs 130 crore net weekend. These aren't good numbers but they are decent nonetheless. The trend in the weekdays will be critical for the movie to end with net Hindi collections of over Rs 200 crore. War 2 Adds Decent Rs 45 Crore Net On Independence Day Holiday In Hindi The true value Hindi day 2 of War 2 is around Rs 48 crore net. Due to preference of the Telugu version of the movie over the Hindi version, the collections in the Andhra states for the Hindi version are lower than what they would normally be. War 2's contribution from the Telugu version for the opening day was roughly Rs 20 crore net. The presence of Jr NTR propelled the movie to these numbers. The collections from the dubbed version have come down considerably on day 2 and that was pretty much expected, too. They are pegged at around Rs 10 crore net. The two day India net all language total is a little over Rs 100 crore. War 2's Andhra States Distributor Stands To Lose Big There should be some stability at low levels for the movie on Saturday and Sunday in Telugu. However, for the prices at which the rights of the movie in the Andhra states (all languages) were acquired for, the numbers being put up by the movie are simply not going to be enough. Renegotiations will have to happen, else the distributor will lose a fortune. War 2's Trajectory Indicates A Rs 250 - 300 Crore Net Finish (All Languages) The India net numbers of War 2 are likely to end in the Rs 250 - 300 crore net range unless the weekday drops are too crazy. The overseas numbers are not much to shout about either. A USD 7.5 million extended global weekend, including premieres is probably all that the movie will be able to manage. The hold over the weekdays will be critical if it really needs to hit USD 15 million in its full run. War 2 In Theatres War 2 plays in theatres now. Tickets for the movie can be booked from the box office or from online ticketing applications. Stay tuned to Pinkvilla for more updates.

Coolie Day 2 India Box Office Estimates: Rajinikanth and Lokesh Kanagaraj's movie grosses SMASHING Rs 61 crore on Independence holiday
Coolie, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, and starring Rajinikanth had an exceptional second day at the India box office, grossing around Rs 61 crore. The hold is terrific on Independence day and it doesn't at all feel like the movie has a mixed word of mouth. The film is getting the love and the support of the paying public, and when that happens, nothing else really matters. Combined with the opening day Rs 75.50 crore, the collections of the Rajinikanth movie stand at Rs 136.50 crore gross after two days. Coolie Grosses An Exceptional Rs 61 Crore Gross On Day 2 In India The day 2 Tamil Nadu collections of Coolie are pegged at Rs 26.50 crore. The second best territory for Coolie are the Andhra states, where the movie has held exceptionally, grossing around Rs 12.75 crore. North India, Karnataka and Kerala follow suit in terms of vital contributions. Coolie Targets Rs 250 Crore At The India Box Office, By The End Of The Extended Weekend Coolie is going to have another couple of strong days at the box office, to propel it to a number of over Rs 250 crore. These collections are coming despite a clash with War 2. If not for the clash, the collections would be probably Rs 30 crore or so, more for the opening weekend. Coolie Will Stand At A Worldwide Gross Of Over Rs 400 Crore After The Extended Weekend Collections of Coolie overseas, continue to be terrific. The film will be standing at over Rs 400 crore worldwide after the extended opening weekend. The hold of the movie after the weekend will be interesting to observe. If the movie holds strong after the weekend, it can cross Jailer and Leo to emerge as the second highest Kollywood grosser worldwide, only behind 2.0. Even if that does not happen, the movie should be comfortably part of the top 5 Kollywood grossers of all time at the worldwide box office. Coolie In Theatres Coolie plays in theatres now. Tickets for the movie can be booked from the box office or from online ticketing applications. Stay tuned to Pinkvilla for more updates.

War 2 Worldwide Box Office Day 2: Jr NTR's Hindi debut falls short of expectations, mints THIS amount
'War 2', the highly anticipated sequel starring Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR, has made waves at the global box office, collecting a total gross of ₹ 79.95 crore worldwide by its second day. The action-packed espionage thriller, part of Yash Raj Films' expanding Spy Universe, has now officially become the biggest worldwide opening of Hrithik Roshan's career. On its opening day, August 14, 'War 2' earned a domestic net of ₹ 52.5 crore. However, this figure amounts to only 16% of the film's reported production budget of ₹ 325 crore. Trade analysts note that for the film to be declared a 'hit', it must achieve a minimum of ₹ 650 crore in net domestic earnings — setting a high bar in an increasingly competitive box office landscape. Overseas, the film has shown moderate traction, with an estimated opening day collection of just over $3 million (approximately ₹ 25 crore). This brings the tentative worldwide opening day total to around ₹ 90–95 crore, although final overseas figures are still pending. The film had been expected to post stronger initial figures, particularly given the addition of Telugu superstar Jr NTR to the cast — a move aimed at expanding the franchise's reach in South Indian markets. Despite this, the early performance in the Telugu states has been described by analysts as 'somewhat subpar', with the regional contribution reportedly in the mid- ₹ 60 crore range. Still, 'War 2' has surpassed the opening of its predecessor, 'War' (2019), which grossed ₹ 77.95 crore worldwide on day one, including ₹ 15 crore from overseas markets. With a high-stakes budget and considerable star power, all eyes are now on War 2's weekend performance to determine whether it can build on this early momentum or face an uphill battle at the box office.
