Trains in both directions between London St Pancras International and Gare Du Nord in Paris were either cancelled or delayed for hours.
It followed two separate fatalities, the first between Lille and Paris and around 5pm.
The second person was hit between Lille and Arras, according to local media.
Yesterday, there were massive queues at both the UK and French railway stations.
Many furious passengers who were stuck for hours took to social media to demand compensation.
One train, due to leave London at 2.31pm, was supposed to arrive at 5.57pm.
But it was delayed for four hours and didn't get in until nearly 10pm.
Another frustrated passenger said they were on a train from London to Paris but they were stuck on it for seven hours.
Naomi Sanger, from Snodland, told KentOnline she boarded the 4.31pm at Gare Du Nord but it never left and she was left stranded at the station.
She posted on X that the food and drinks supply was running out, and the air con was not working.
In a statement on X, Eurostar said: "Due to a person struck by a train near Lille Europe, we are expecting delays and cancellations to our services this evening.
'We advise changing your journey for a different travel date.'
On Wednesday, Eurostar travellers were also hit by delays after a person was hit on the rails in France.

Footage taken by residents shows the chilling moment when the dust cloud swamps area. The ominous clip shows the dust slowly rising and pouring into the town. It comes just six months after the tourist hotspot was rocked by earthquakes - with 20,000 tremors reported between January 26 and February 22. The picturesque island is a perennial favourite for holidaymakers and is famed for its white-washed buildings with blue domes. But terrifying seismic activity saw an earthquake warning issued earlier this year due to the tremors. Earthquakes struck the idyllic island around once every 10 minutes, prompting more than half the island's population to flee. Experts have suggested that a mix of seismic activity and overbuilding could be linked to the landslide. Some experts in the area told Greek outlet Protothema: "Santorini is an island with vulnerable geomorphology, and when the pressure of overdevelopment is added, the risk of landslides multiplies. "Immediate measures are required to limit construction activity and strict inspections must be enforced to protect both the environment and human life." Major 6.1 magnitude earthquake rocks Greek holiday islands Crete and Santorini sparking tsunami fears Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis unveiled £2.5million funding for an emergency evacuation route for the island earlier this year. While popular with tourists, Greece is one of the most earthquake prone regions of Europe. In May, holidaymakers on the island of Crete were shaken awake by a terrifying 6.1-magnitude earthquake. Tourists were urged to "move away from the coast" in the aftermath as a tsunami warning was put in place. British holidaymakers on the Greek islands took to social media to share their ordeals. One said on TikTok: "That was very scary. I was scared last time but this time I'm terrified. "That's been two earthquakes in the past week and I just want to get home safely. I just want to leave." And in June, a 5.8 magnitude earthquake struck Greece and Turkey killing one person and leaving fearful locals jumping off buildings. The quake was felt along the Turquoise Coast and in neighbouring regions, including in the Greek island of Rhodes. 6 Experts have suggested that a mix of seismic activity and overbuilding could be linked to the landslide Credit: YouTube/@ProtoThemaEidiseis

Little-known theme park is one of the best in the UK with barely any queues and new alpaca walks

Read on to find out about a ride at the park that is the only one of its kind in the world PARK IT UP Little-known theme park is one of the best in the UK with barely any queues and new alpaca walks Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) FOUND below one of the UK's highest mountain ranges is a theme park with a human-powered rollercoaster and a solar-powered splash. While GreenWood family park located in Y Felinheli, below Mount Snowdon in North Wales, does not feature high-tech rides you'd expect to find at Thorpe Park, the little-known attraction claims to have "something for everyone". Visitors must head on a funicular that takes them to a lower station, but in turn the weight of the cabin full of passengers brings the empty rollercoaster up to a higher station. The riders will then walk from the lower funicular station, back up the hill to the rollercoaster that then uses gravity to propel itself along the 250 metre track and 360-degree horizontal loop. The park also has the first solar-powered ride in the UK, which features a two-chute water slide around 60 metres long. Solar panels that generate electricity are used to power the water pumps for this ride. Unusual attractions in the park don't stop there though - the park has the Enchanted River Ride as well, where riders propel themselves along a river using ropes and paddle, seeing mystical creatures as they go. For a sensory experience there is the BareFoot Trail, dubbed to be the first of its kind in Wales. Visitors walk barefoot through different terrains including sand, straw, timber and water. Elsewhere at the TripAdvisor Traveller's Choice Award 2025 attraction, visitors can also head on a dry version of sledging, TreeTop Towers with netted walkways and tube slides and the Forest Glider - a 75 metre 'slide' in rubber rings. Why Carmarthenshire makes the perfect family hol Smaller children can enjoy the Tunnel Warren, Dragon Maze, mini diggers and tractors and a giant jumping pillow as well. At Cwtch Corner, families can interact with farm animals and learn about their habitats, including goats, ducks, pigs, guinea pigs and rabbits. New for this year, the park also has some alpacas that families can opt to go on a walk with through the 17 acre forest park, by booking in advance. Don't miss the Snowdon View Point either, with panoramic views of Wales' largest mountain range. And if the weather isn't ideal, then the park has an indoor Enchanted WoodBarn with soft play and a special area for children under the age of three. You do need to pay a fee to access the soft play, which is £3.50 per adult and £6 per child. Inside the WoodBarn is a cafe as well, selling family favourites like Welsh beef burgers for £11.80 and jacket potatoes from £7.25. For parents wanting a brew whilst the kids play, coffee and tea aren't expensive, ranging between £3.20 and £4.20. 5 And there are multiple different play features to explore across the park Credit: Greenwood Family Park If out and about in the park, there are food shacks as well, like Snowdon Snacks that serves a range of hot food including hot dogs and has a covered seating area. Or you could head to the Forest and Solar Treat Shacks for sweet treats including ice cream. Until the end of August the family park is running the 'Festival of Fun' with live music and entertainment such as circus skills workshops and arts and crafts sessions - all included in the ticket price. Make sure to check out a show, including magic acts, at the Forest Theatre too. Admission costs £25 for guests over one metre tall and £10 for those under a metre tall. Though, if you book through Picniq, you can grab tickets for £20 for visitors over a metre tall, and £7.50 for those under a metre tall. Or you could purchase a group of four tickets, for guests all over one metre tall, for £74. One visitor recently said on TripAdvisor: "[There's] something for everyone, from toddlers to teens (and adults too!) Another added: "It's a fun, affordable, and genuinely enriching day out for all ages, and we'll definitely be back if we are in the area." 5 There is a solar-powered water ride as well Credit: Google maps A third noted: "We didn't really queue for anything." The main park is open between 10am and 5pm each day. Visitors can also extend their stay at the park, by staying at the GreenWood Tipi Glamping. The site features hot showers and a fully-equipped communal kitchen. Inside the tipis, guests will find a log burner and real beds. Then outside each tipi is a barbeque and a seating area. Four of the tipis sleep up to six people and the remaining two sleep up to four people and a one-night stay starts from £95. There's no need to leave your four-legged friend at home either, as each family is allowed "two well-behaved dogs" for a fee of £30 per dog. 5 And if you want to extend your stay, there are tipis on the site Credit: Instagram/@greenwood_f_p Using GreenWood as a base, there are plenty of other areas to explore nearby including Mount Snowdon itself, Zip World and Conwy Castle. The nearby village of Y Felinheli, sits on the Menai Strait submerged valley and has some pubs and cafes to explore as well. Wales is a great holiday destination with great family attractions for all types of British weather. Plus, Wales is home to the UK's biggest underground 'theme park' in caves – and it's twice the size of St Paul's.

'I sobbed outside Disney as we were turned away - we've still not got £650 refund'

Sue Batters paid more than £3,000 to treat her two daughters and five grandsons to a three-day break in Disneyland Paris - but things went wrong on the final day A grandmother was left in floods of tears when her dream family holiday to Disney turned into a nightmare after their park tickets were unexpectedly cancelled. ‌ Sue Batters, 68, splashed out over £3,000 for a three-day Disneyland Paris trip for her two daughters and five grandsons. ‌ The package deal, booked through Times and Travels UK, included Eurostar travel, hotel accommodation, and entry to the two main theme parks, Disneyland and Walt Disney Studios. However, the family's joy was short-lived when on the final day of their holiday, their Disneyland passes were unexpectedly cancelled. ‌ Sue, from Avery Way, Allhallows, on the Hoo Peninsula, said: "I was in tears. My grandchildren kept asking me why I was crying. What are you supposed to do when you have five children who want to go to Disney? They did not understand why we could not get in." READ MORE: Inside 'saddest ever' Grand Designs house that tore family apart as it FINALLY sells The London-based firm has since apologised and confirmed that the day passes were cancelled by its supplier without notice. Despite initial scepticism about the package deal, which she discovered on Facebook, Sue had done her due diligence, checking the company's website and reviews, all of which were positive, and ensuring its holidays were protected by a professional trade body. She then decided to proceed and reserve the getaway for late May, including herself, her daughters Rebecca and Hayley, plus her grandsons Archie, Alfie, Freddie, Stanley, and Parker. Everything was perfect until the final day when their passes ceased functioning while attempting to enter the Walt Disney Studios Park. ‌ The party of eight was informed by personnel that their passes had been revoked and they should telephone Times and Travels UK for help. After attempting to reach the travel company all morning, the family were eventually informed at 1pm that the tickets had been cancelled two days prior to their departure due to a £497 discrepancy. ‌ Sue, who works as a semi-retired driver, maintained that she had settled the complete cost of the holiday and ultimately discovered there had been an "admin error" which resulted in the cancellation. She continued: "This was a once-in-a-lifetime trip. I spent all my savings on a magical holiday, but this ruined it. I was meant to be a lovely trip away for the family, but instead we were standing outside Disney crying with five children." She was recommended to purchase fresh passes at the venue, which she did for £650, with assurances they would be reimbursed. ‌ Sue has yet to receive the reimbursement, but Times and Travels UK told her they were working to process the repayment and apologised for the delay in doing so. According to its terms and conditions, its package deals are financially protected, and it takes responsibility for its suppliers under the Package Travel Regulations. Sue revealed that the company has proposed a payment of £459 followed by two instalments of £100 each, but she has rejected this, insisting on a one-time full payment. ‌ The grandmother expressed her concern: "What if someone did not have the money to buy the tickets at the door? Not everyone has that option, and it is not a small amount that you might have extra. "I always book holidays with the likes of TUI and Jet2, but I checked it out and it looked fine. I did have a bad feeling, so I booked it on the credit card and made sure I was protected. In the back of my mind, I was worried." Times and Travels UK has yet to respond to a request for comment. ‌ However, in response to Sue's review on Trustpilot posted on 7 July, the firm explained that the day passes were cancelled by its supplier without prior notice. It added: "We acknowledge this was frustrating and we sincerely apologise for the stress it caused. As soon as you made us aware, we investigated and confirmed that you will be refunded for the cost of the cancelled tickets. This promise still stands, and we are working to process it. ‌ "We have never refused your refund, and at no point did we say we would not take responsibility. We understand the delay has caused frustration, and we truly are sorry." The firm stated: "Times and Travels UK is a registered travel business. We have helped hundreds of families and couples travel to Disney, Asia, and beyond, and we take our reputation seriously. "Our small team is still working through a backlog due to a recent internal change in management, but no one has been ignored or left behind intentionally, and every pending case is being resolved. We hope you will allow us to complete the process and make this right." Based on Trustpilot data, the vast majority of customer reviews for Times and Travels UK award the company five stars.
