Adam "Pacman" Jones, who played one season with the Dallas Cowboys in 2008, pleaded not guilty this week to multiple charges following his arrest last weekend in the Cincinnati/Kentucky area. The 41-year-old was arrested by Covington Police and charged with alcohol intoxication in a public place, disorderly conduct and assault of a police officer or a probation officer.

Meanwhile ...
Former Pittsburgh Steelers great and fellow controversial figure Antonio Brown is currently wanted in Miami-Dade County on an "attempted murder with a firearm" charge after a shooting that Brown was allegedly involved in during a celebrity boxing event in last month.
Jones, a defensive back, and Brown, a wide receiver, squared off against each other on the field.
Now they're each facing their own troubles with the law.
Pacman posted a $10,000 bond and was released from police custody.
Brown is, according to his warrant, instructed to post a $10,000 bond and remain at his house until trial.

We've heard from Brown, who says 'What doesn't kill me makes me stronger,'' and "Wanna play? Then play hard.'
Brown also responded with a series of posts on X, including a video of him in boxing gloves, riding a bike, and another picture accusing somebody else who "did it".
Jones now has something to say about Brown's situation.
'How long you think AB gonna be on the run?," Pacman said in a video posted to social media. 'I bet you it gonna be longer than [72 hours]. I ain't no lawyer here so he ain't lawyered up, which is a dumb thing.'
Brown was detained by police after gunshots were supposedly fired at the boxing event. But now, according to the warrant, witnesses have told police officers that Brown was the shooter, and that two shell casings were found at the scene. One man involved in the conflict alleged that Brown "began to run toward him with a firearm" and shot at him twice.

For Brown, 36, this is the latest in a disturbing string of incidents tying to legal and behavioral issues since the controversial end to his NFL career where he marched off the field and was released.
Jones' arrest is his fourth since 2021, and he has been booked for a public intoxication charge three consecutive years. Last year he was arrested by Arlington police for assaulting an officer after the Jake Paul-Mike Tyson fight at AT&T Stadium.
Now both in disputes with the law, it appears Jones and Brown are competitors once again. ...
This time in who can be make the biggest series of alleged missteps in their post-football lives.

🔎 The Debrief as PSG confirm favourite status and Bayern show no mercy
The Club World Cup really kicked into gear on Sunday with four games, including a record-breaking win for Bayern Munich. Here's what happened. You can sign up to DAZN to watch every FIFA Club World Cup game for free. What happened? 📝 Sunday's action kicked off in Cincinnati as Bayern Munich scored 10 (Ten) against amateur outfit Auckland City. Thomas Müller netted twice with what could be his last ever goals for the club whilst Jamal Musiala bagged a late hat-trick. Advertisement After that it was Paris Saint-Germain's turn to impress as they hammered 10-man Atlético de Madrid 4-0 to further enhance their status as the likely favourites for this tournament. Then it was off to New Jersey as the MetLife Stadium played host to Palmeiras and Porto. The Brazilian giants were probably the better side in this one but the game remained goalless. Finally it was heartbreak for home side Seattle Sounders, as they lost 2-1 to Botafogo thanks to two first half headers. Player of the day 🔥 PSG carried on where they left off in last month's Champions League final with a total demolition of Atleti in Pasadena. Advertisement There were plenty of exceptional performances on display, but the best came from midfielder Vitinha. The Portugal international has truly found a home with the Parisien outfit and once again looked like the best central midfielder on the planet. Stat of the Day 📊 Bayern Munich's 10-0 annihilation of Auckland City was the largest winning margin in Club World Cup history. The biggest margin of defeat before yesterday's game was Al Hilal's 6-1 loss to Al Jazeera back in 2002. What this means 🤔 Bayern Munich sit top of Group C with an incredibly healthy goal difference and now wait to see how Benfica and Boca Juniors get on later tonight. Advertisement In Group B meanwhile, PSG and Botafogo are level on three points with the European champions leading on goal difference. Palmeiras' draw with Porto means that Group A is on a knife-edge with all four teams now level on one point following Al Ahly and Inter Miami's own goalless draw on Saturday. What they said 🗣️ 📸 Dylan Buell - 2025 Getty Images When asked whether he felt sorry for Auckland City following their 10-0 defeat, Bayern winger Michael Olise simply replied: "No". Palmeiras winger Estevao was pleased with his side's point against Porto, telling "We played a good game, with a lot of volume, passing exchanges, but lacked efficiency with our finishing. We weren't capable of scoring a goal. Now we have to improve and go for a result in the next game.' Advertisement PSG captain Marquinhos was delighted with his side's intensity as they brushed Atleti aside: "We never know how a game will end up, especially when playing an opponent like them. Our team showed its strength. Yes, we won the Champions League, but today we showed our intensity once again. We have to be humble, continue to defend, to attack, and keep going in the same direction.' Seattle Sounders may have lost in front of their home crowd, but head coach Brian Schmetzer was happy with his side's performance: "It was an exciting game. I'm happy for the fans and proud of the players' effort. In the first half, we gave a couple goals away but came back in the second half and made a statement. We showed we can compete. That's what we're asking: work and compete. And they did that tonight.' What's next? 👀 There are three more games on Monday and into the night with Chelsea making their bow against MLS side LAFC. Advertisement Then we've got a fascinating encounter between Boca Juniors and Benfica that will round of the first matches in Group B before Brazilian behemoth Flamengo take on African giants Esperance de Tunis. 📸 FREDERIC J. Already dealing with a complicated contract situation with No. 1 receiver Terry McLaurin, the Washington Commanders got more bad news Wednesday when No. 3 receiver Noah Brown was carted off the field at the team's minicamp practice.
Already dealing with a complicated contract situation with No. 1 receiver Terry McLaurin, the Washington Commanders got more bad news Wednesday when No. 3 receiver Noah Brown was carted off the field at the team's minicamp practice. originally appeared on Athlon Sports. The Washington Commanders may have suffered a major blow to their receiving corps after a key piece in the rotation when down Wednesday. Multiple sources reported out of the team's Wednesday practice that Noah Brown went down with an injury and had to be carted off the field. Advertisement There have been no updates on the nature of the injury at this time. This comes just a day after Terry McLaurin's holdout from team activities became official as he seeks out a contract extension. McLaurin will not report to mandatory minicamp which started on Tuesday and ends Thursday. Brown caught 35 passes for 453 yards last season, the most notable of which came in the Commanders' stunning Hail Mary victory over the Chicago Bears. He spent five of his previous six seasons with the Dallas Cowboys before signing with the Houston Texans in 2023. Washington has pieced together notable wide receiver depth through the offseason. The team drafted Jaylin Lane in the fourth round after adding Deebo Samuel through trade in March and signing veterans Michael Gallup and K.J. Osborn. Advertisement However, Brown's loss would be a considerable blow if the injury turns into a serious matter. The Commanders have centered their offseason on building a formidable offensive unit around Daniels. Brown's rapport with the young quarterback was a major plus as a returning piece. Now with Brown potentially out of action and the timetable on McLaurin's return uncertain, there may be some growing angst around the team as they wait on a report out with further information. Commanders' Austin Ekeler Details Benefits Of Running It Back Amid Trade Rumors
Commanders' Austin Ekeler Details Benefits Of Running It Back Amid Trade Rumors originally appeared on Athlon Sports. The Washington Commanders will enter the 2025 season with the majority of the offense from 2024 returning. Advertisement Led by quarterback Jayden Daniels, Zach Ertz, and we think Terry McLaurin, who is going through a contract saga, the Commanders have seen most key players return, and one of which is running back Austin Ekeler. Having gone through concussion issues last year, Ekeler is now fully healthy and ready to hit the ground running in his second season in the NFC East. And that is made a whole lot easier when everything has roughly stayed the same. "I was talking to Jayden [Daniels] about this actually," Ekeler said via JP Finlay. "We were talking about how having the same offense back to back and how it doesn't necessarily slow the game down, but mentally you're able to process a little bit more, so you're able to keep more on your plate. Advertisement "It gives the kind of a confidence in yourself that you know where you're supposed to be, you know the steps. Still got to get the younger guys and the new guys up to speed, but it's a lot easier to get a few guys in the whole than the whole squad." Washington Commanders running back Austin EkelerEric Hartline-Imagn Images So the Commanders will be hoping they can play a little faster with most of the offensive group already knowing Kliff Kingsbury's scheme from last season. ... and that figures to include Ekeler, who has been the subject of a mountain of trade rumors this offseason. But now? Continuity? That will help early on, as last year, the group was still figuring out the system. ... and they aren't burdened by that now. Advertisement With Deebo Samuel and Laremy Tunsil the new additions, both will take time to acclimate to their new surroundings, but will have enough help from the veterans like Ekeler, who can guide them through this early portion of the offseason. Many believe the Commanders will again be one of the teams to beat in the NFC, and perhaps a hidden advantage is that the majority of the offense is returning, which could allow for a fast start in 2025. Well, that's the hope, anyway.
