His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, attended the graduation ceremony of the 2024-2025 cohort of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Leadership Program, launched by the Mohammed Bin Rashid Center for Leadership Development (MBRCLD), part of The Executive Office of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
Sheikh Mohammed affirmed that developing innovative leaders who can shape the future remains a national priority and a key pillar of the UAE's approach to progress. By empowering national talent across sectors, the UAE continues to strengthen its global standing and enable institutions to keep pace with advancements across sectors.
Sheikh Mohammed said: 'I am proud of this new cohort of ambitious national leaders from both the public and private sectors. They embody the positive initiative, responsibility, and commitment to personal and institutional growth, as well as to public service, that our people demonstrate daily. Hundreds of leaders have now graduated from the Mohammed bin Rashid Leadership Program. We remain committed to nurturing innovative leaders who have the courage to take bold decisions and challenge conventional thinking.'
Comprehensive leadership experiences
The Program is designed to develop and empower aspiring Emirati leaders for key positions and strategic project management, across public and private sector organisations.
Founded on the vision and methodology of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Program featured a series of comprehensive leadership experiences that blend thought, practical application, and global perspectives, with individual and group mentoring. A total of 60 Emirati leaders and global experts provided oversight and mentorship, in collaboration with leading international universities and centres.
The Program offered an international trip that included a visit to the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst in the UK, where participants received training in discipline, decisiveness, and field leadership.
Participants in the 2024-2025 cohort submitted a practical application focused on six transformative projects across health, education, the economy, quality of life, tourism, infrastructure, and community sectors.
Launched in 2017, the Mohammed bin Rashid Leadership Program develops leaders who champion innovation, drive transformative change in workplaces, and contribute to shaping the future.
Since 2003, the MBRCLD has delivered impactful programmes that cultivate well-rounded, adaptable leaders equipped to navigate change and address future challenges with competence and foresight.

He added that the projects have produced many success on the programme, he noted that accurate data and sound research are vital for ensuring food security, and the local market requires agricultural leaders who operate from a real investment perspective.'Our work focuses on structuring all the components of the agricultural sector and supporting the creation of a network of farmers and agriculture enthusiasts. We have organised groups across all key operations in the sector and connected them with one other to achieve the desired results,' Al Hamed programme also integrates the expertise of marketers, who coordinate marketing functions with the joint operations team. Moving on to the incubation and funding stage, Al Hamed noted that once participants complete the theoretical training phase, they enter an entrepreneurship incubator for a period of practical training. 'We are now coordinating with these entities to establish a reference framework for graduating these groups, ensuring they are fully qualified.' Al Hamed also noted that Gracia Group launched initiatives with government partners, including the Planting One Million Saplings campaign and programmes for senior citizens, people of determination, and women.

Under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, the Supreme Committee for the Development of Hatta has launched 14 new investment and commercial opportunities at the Hatta Sustainable Waterfalls project. These opportunities, offered through Dubai Municipality, aim to empower local citizens, creating job opportunities, and supporting sustainable economic and social development in the region. All retail spaces at the Hatta Sustainable Waterfalls will be allocated to Emiratis residing in Hatta, free of charge, for a one-year period — providing a springboard for small businesses and productive families to grow within one of the UAE's most scenic and culturally rich destinations. The initiative supports the Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan, the Hatta Development Master Plan, and the objectives of the Supreme Committee for the Development of Hatta by creating investment opportunities for citizens. It also supports both the Dubai Social Agenda 33 and the Dubai Economic Agenda D33, which aim to position Dubai among the world's top three cities for tourism, while fostering inclusive economic development and environmental sustainability. Spanning a total area of 750 square metres, the new investment opportunities include: four restaurants, four retail stores and six food and beverage kiosks. The spaces will offer a variety of experiences including Emirati, Arabic, Western, and traditional cuisine, as well as local cafes, equipment rentals, and souvenir and gift shops. These projects aim to stimulate tourism, support local culture, and promote economic self-sufficiency for Hatta residents. Bader Anwahi, CEO of the Public Facilities Agency at Dubai Municipality, said, 'For the first time, investment and commercial opportunities are being introduced in the Hatta Dam area, specifically at the Sustainable Waterfalls. These opportunities will drive Hatta's economic development and open the door for a new generation of entrepreneurs to grow their ventures.'
