Our Hazardous Materials Team from Stations 5 and 12 responded and confirmed an active leak and… — Halifax Professional Fire Fighters (@hfxfirefighters) July 4, 2025 A Hazardous Materials Team confirmed the active leak and established isolation zones. Crews asked people to avoid the area while they worked. Eastward Energy also responded. It said the area was safely isolated just before 10 a.m. and repairs are underway.
