Lady Gaga could be coming to Hong Kong in 2026 for ‘The Mayhem Ball' Tour

Time Outa day ago

Yeah, we had Coldplay take over the entire territories, the comeback of Nicholas Tse, and Mandopop king Jay Chou coming later this month, but let's be real – we're also still smarting over the fact that Singapore got both Taylor Swift and Lady Gaga but not us! However, the tide might be turning, as there are now rumours swirling that Lady Gaga could be coming to Hong Kong next year.
Back in March, Mother Monster announced her upcoming eighth concert tour 'The Mayhem Ball' which is set to commence on July 16. The plan was for the concert to travel across North American, European, and Australian cities, but on June 10, Lady Gaga also announced five dates for Japan, running from January 21 to 29 in Osaka and Tokyo.
The plot twist here is that the Lady Gaga news fan account @MayhemBallTour on X had previously already proclaimed on April 9 that the artist will have Tokyo dates. When asked for hints on the whole Asia leg of the tour, they posted emoji flags of Japan, South Korea, and Hong Kong – so we're keeping our fingers crossed that we'll actually get Gaga in Kai Tak Stadium or AsiaWorld-Expo come 2026!
Interestingly, Hong Kong singer Joey Yung went to Lady Gaga's recent 'The Art of Personal Chaos' concert in Singapore recently and posted on Instagram in Chinese that she 'hopes she'll be able to enjoy it again in Kai Tak'. These industry insiders know something we don't… If the online rumours are anything to go by, Lady Gaga might be putting on three Hong Kong shows in February 2026.
Stay tuned for more information as we learn them!

Paul Whitehouse celebrates Tottenham Hotspur's Europa League win on Gone Fishing The BBC show is returning for an eighth series Bob Mortimer admits he was 'scared' of Go Fishing co-star Paul Whitehouse when they first met (Image: (Image: BBC) ) The next series of Gone Fishing will feature Paul Whitehouse celebrating his birthday by seeing Tottenham Hotspur win the Europa League. The BBC show is returning for an eighth series and Paul and Bob Mortimer are currently filming the episodes which will see the pair visit fishing locations which have been chosen by there relevance to Paul or Bob personally, following the broad journeys of their lives. ‌ Paul and Bob will both be seen celebrating their 67th and 66th birthdays in one episode and the Fast Show star's big day was made even more special by seeing his beloved Spurs defeat Manchester United 1-0 in the Europa League final on 21 May. ‌ In an interview with RTE Radio, he said: "I did some filing with him the other week, the amount of tricks he got up to nicking my gear. "When Bob and I were filming the other week for Gone Fishing it was my birthday and Bob's birthday and a great present for me was Spurs winning the Europa League. "I was at the European victory in 1984, I was 26." Article continues below Paul first achieved TV fame on Harry Enfield and Friends and The Fast Show, while Bob was one half of surreal comedy double act Vic and Bob with Vic Reeves so the success they have had with Gone Fishing hasn't come as a surprise to Paul. But Paul - whose idea for the programme came when he started taking Bob fishing to get over his triple heart bypass operation - says the love people have for Gone Fishing seems deeper and more personal. He said: "It's surprising, not so much that people like it, but what it means to people. ‌ "Me and Bob have had quite a bit of success over the years, but it's very different, the Gone Fishing response. We're just a couple of old idiots, really. "It's me and Bob on a river with Ted the dog and we talk about life and death and we have a laugh." Announcing Series 8 of Gone Fishing, BBC Commissioning Editor Patrick McMahon said: "We're so happy to welcome Paul and Bob back for another slice of fishing, friendship and riverbank philosophy. Following their adventures and spending time in their company is always a treat, and this series promises to be the most personal and pleasurable yet." Article continues below Executive Producer Lisa Clark added: "I'm so delighted we can continue to showcase our beautiful country in the company of Paul, Bob and Ted of course. "There's so much more to explore for both man and beast with plenty of muck for Ted to roll in and Bob to fall over, while Paul quietly concentrates on the fishing in hand."

How Dundee United new boy Zac Sapsford fumbled Bakary Saka jersey when his bottle crashed

Dundee United's first summer signing Zac Sapsford has revealed how he missed out on a signed Bakary Saka jersey when his bottle crashed – literally. The Australian forward arrives at Tannadice with a hidden skill, and it caught the eye of ex-Chelsea, Manchester United and Spain superstar Juan Mata, a teammate at Western Sydney Wanderers last season. Sapsford, 22, has a talent for bottle flipping and, after showcasing the ability over lunch during an away trip, Mata challenged the youngster to land THIRTY in a row in return for a shirt of his choice. Sapsford opted for Arsenal ace Saka – and came agonisingly close. Instead, he was tasked with weeks on the coffee run. 'I'm pretty good at bottle flipping,' he told the Row Z FC podcast. 'We were at a hotel and had just finished dinner and I was doing some bottle flips. Juan said, 'wow, you are really good at that'. Then he told me that if I got 30 in a row, he'd get me whatever jersey I want. 'I said, 'make it a signed [Bakary] Saka jersey, and I'll do it'. So, I started, and the whole team was watching. It's getting very pressurised. I had like 28 in a row and flipped it up…then it fell. 'Everyone was all around me – even the coaches – and it was not good. I was that close. 'Instead, my punishment was to get him seven coffees whenever he wanted!' Nevertheless, the tale speaks to the rapport shared by the erstwhile teammates; two men at the opposite end of their career journeys. Mata, 35, boasts a World Cup, two European Championship and a Champions League among an astonishing haul of medals and Sapsford readily admits that the mercurial midfielder is TOO GOOD to learn from. However, his influence was still tangible. 'On the pitch, there's not much to learn from Juan – because he's too good,' he continued. 'You can't really take too much from him because you look at some of the things he does and say, 'I'll never be able to do that'. 'But off the pitch, he is an amazing person and the bits of advice he gave me in different scenarios was invaluable. 'Whether it's reacting to coming off or being annoyed at being benched one week; he'd tell me how he went through those things at top-level clubs. 'Those types of things helped me through the season, and to have someone like that somewhat mentoring you was a cool thing.' Sapsford has penned a three-year deal with the Tangerines and, along with Moldova international Iurie Iuvo, represents the first pieces of Jim Goodwin's summer rebuild at Tannadice. And he told United fans what to expect. Asked what attributes he would bring to the Scottish game, Sapsford said: 'I'd say my link-up play. 'I like to drive with the ball if I get the chance; I'm really good at that. And although I'm not super tall, I like to win most of my aerial duels. Goalscoring and assists, too. I like to set players up and find the killer pass. 'I'll never stop running and I love putting all my energy out there. I'll never come off the pitch feeling like I haven't given everything.' Sapsford, who still harbours a dream of making the Australia World Cup squad next summer, added: 'What I am expecting (in Scotland) is a lot of physicality. 'I'm happy with that. I like a bit of contact in games. That's what football is for and I'm ready for anything.' You can listen to the full episode of Row Z FC here.
