'Just as holiday decor can get us in a holiday spirit and completely change our frame of mind, the same can happen when we clear that all out and give ourselves a fresh start to the season,' Tolbert says. 'And you don't have to do a complete overhaul, but even small swaps — like fresh flowers, a patterned or colored throw blanket or a new candle — can make a space feel totally different.'
